Handcrafted Irish Pewter – Reviving a Centuries-Old Craft in Mullingar Since 1974
In 1974, master craftsman Paddy Collins revived the ancient art of Irish pewter making in Mullingar, County Westmeath. Today, his son Peter Collins proudly continues this tradition, producing handcrafted pewter giftware that celebrates Ireland’s heritage.
Each piece is individually made in our Irish workshop by skilled local artisans, trained in traditional casting, precise assembly, and expert hand-finishing – techniques that take years to perfect.

Great Service and Prompt Shipping
I emailed the company to inquire about shipping times prior to purchasing, as my wedding was 5 weeks away at the time. They responded promptly that shipping to the US would only take about a week. Additionally, I was delighted to learn I was able to get the cake knife and server engraved with our surname and wedding date at no additional charge. Once engraved and shipped, shipping did only take about a week. I will gladly order this product again for gifts for friends' upcoming weddings!

Slow uncommunicative service
Your site claims a quick turnaround from order to shipping. I placed this order on a Thursday or Friday anticipating that it would be delivered promptly, sadly it took over a week for me to be informed that the order had been placed and over 2 weeks!!! for the order to be delivered to a colleague in Dublin…well after the event I was trying to celebrate took place. I could’ve gone to Arnotts and had an item shipped same day. So much for supporting local businesses, won’t make that mistake again!

Remarkable Pieces
Remarkable Pieces.
I bought three items for Christmas 2024 and saw two of them. The other went directly to the UK. The goblet depicting Queen Meabh went to a close relative called Meabh. It was a beautiful piece and she loved it. The whiskey decanter for another relative was also remarkable and gladly received. The Jewellery box I did not see and I don’t know yet how it was received. Mullingar Pewter makes beautiful pieces and I will be buying more.

Wonderful craftsmanship
I bought a whiskey flask but was disappointed not to receive a funnel to assist in filling it. The top is very narrow and the contents too precious to spill.
