Hi Caroline,
Thank you for your feedback, and we’re very sorry to hear that your latest mug wasn’t up to the standard you expected, especially after your positive experience with your first order.
This certainly isn’t the quality we aim to deliver.
Could you please email us at contact@muggby.co.uk with a few clear photos of the printing, showing the pit holes you mentioned? Once we’ve reviewed the photos, we’ll investigate this immediately and do everything we can to make it right.
We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and look forward to resolving it for you.

Hi Mrs Robinson,
We’re truly sorry that your order didn’t arrive as expected.
Unfortunately, after investigating the shipment, the parcel appears to have been lost in transit. While this is very rare, we completely understand how disappointing and frustrating this must have been.
Although the issue occurred during delivery, we always take responsibility for ensuring our customers receive their orders. We’ve therefore arranged a free replacement for you at no additional cost.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve this. If there’s anything else we can help you with, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Avoid this company, they take your money and don’t send your order!
Placed an order for a personalised mug on 18th June with estimated delivery of Thursday 25th. Website said 1-2 business days for this to be made, so should have been ready by end of Monday 22nd June at the latest. Received email from the on Wednesday 24th saying my order was on its way, but having tracked through Evri it is still saying they are waiting for the parcel to be handed over to them. The company have ignored 2 emails asking for updates on this and I’ve been completely ignored. Am extremely disappointed as this was meant to be a present for my partner and is now late.

Hi Claire,
We’re truly sorry for your experience and completely understand your frustration.
During the Father’s Day period, we received an exceptionally high volume of personalised orders. As every mug is made to order, this unfortunately led to longer production times than we would normally expect.
We know this isn’t the experience we want our customers to have, and we sincerely apologise for the delay.
We’re pleased that your order was successfully delivered on 2 July, but we fully appreciate that it arrived later than expected, especially as it was intended as a gift.
Since then, we’ve reviewed our processes and taken steps to improve our capacity during peak periods to help ensure this doesn’t happen again.
Thank you for your feedback. It helps us improve, and we’re genuinely sorry that we let you down on this occasion.

Goods didn’t arrive, that’s our policy!
Goods never arrived, there was no guidance at point of sale on how long delivery took. When I checked it said ‘out for delivery’. 11 weeks later nothing arrived, no photo confirming delivery. I contacted Muggby customer service, they said ‘you’ve left it too long for us to check with delivery company’ no refund, nothing offered. That’s their policy, hard luck!

Hello Lynn,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re genuinely sorry to hear about your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation for anyone reading this.
According to the courier’s tracking records, this order was dispatched and marked “out for delivery” with an estimated delivery window of 13–14 October. Unfortunately, we were not contacted about a non-delivery issue until over 11 weeks later.
Our delivery partners, like most couriers, allow investigations and claims to be opened only within a limited timeframe after the estimated delivery date. Once this window has passed, neither we nor the courier are able to trace, investigate, or compensate for the parcel. This policy exists to ensure cases can be properly verified while delivery data is still available.
We understand how disappointing it is when an order doesn’t arrive as expected, and we truly wish we could have helped further. However, we must apply the same claims policy consistently to all customers.
If you would like to discuss this further, we remain available via our customer support email and are always happy to review any additional information you may have.
Kind regards,
Muggby Customer Support

I contacted this company twice about a…
I contacted this company twice about a mug my stepmother had purchased and was not happy with how it was made. Blurry picture and small writing. Below is the email i sent them after my initial contact and they do not even have the courtesy to reply. Shocking.
with reference to order number 4179
I am writing on behalf of my stepmother
, regarding the custom dog-print mug she recently received from your company. Order reference (4179) As she is still recovering from recent brain surgery, I am assisting her with this matter.
She purchased this mug as a special gift for a close friend who looked after her dogs during her recovery. Because of the sentimental value behind this gesture, she was especially looking forward to giving a high-quality, personalised item.
Unfortunately, the mug she received does not meet the standard shown on your website. The images of the dogs appear blurry, and the names are not clear, the overall print quality is disappointing.
Given the importance of this gift, we kindly request that you review the issue and advise us on the next steps. A reprint with the correct quality or a full refund would be greatly appreciated. I can send you a picture of the actual Mug that she has received if you let me know how to do this.
Thank you for your understanding and prompt attention to this matter.

Since then, we’ve continued improving both our customer support and our quality control to help ensure situations like this are handled much more effectively.

So sad
So sad, the parcel came completely smashed, and this has nothing to do with the couriers; the senders did not add any sort of protection to such a fragile item! Impossible to get hold of them, and now I have just wasted £27 on something completely useless!
DO NOT BUY!

Hi Andreea,
We’re very sorry to read about your experience and sincerely apologise that your parcel arrived damaged.
While this review was posted some time ago, we’d still be happy to help if the issue was never resolved. Whenever an item arrives damaged, we always offer a free replacement. All we need are a few clear photos of the damaged item sent to contact@muggby.co.uk, and we’ll take care of the rest.
We understand how disappointing it is when a personalised gift doesn’t arrive in perfect condition, and we always do our best to put things right as quickly as possible.

Dishwasher Safe?
Mugs are very nice and sent as a gift, but some concern that they may have to be hand-washed only, as it is uncertain if they are dishwasher safe.
