Disappointing family cruise experience
Spent a lot of money on first family cruise around Mediterranean. Not a relaxing experience at all. Chaotic scenes in the buffet area. Difficult to get breakfast table at times. Woke up at 7am by maintenance staff dismantling the balcony with hammers followed by hosing down the area with our clothes hung over chairs. Made a complaint and receptions response was it was necessary works. Never again.

Our first cruise adventure
It's was our first MSC cruise. I have to say it was a great experience and a great holiday adventure.
From the enormity of the ship, staff, cabin, novelty, excursions , exploring the ship , standard of food and drinks.
When you break all that down to the price paid per person per day. Although dearer than a normal holiday. It was definitely worth spending extra for the experience was exceptional

Nice cruise but food disappointing
I really enjoyed the cruise. The staff were exceptional and friendly. As for the ship. It was very confusing to find your way around. I think all guests should have a map either on their app or by paper so you know exactly where you’re going I spend more time hopping on and off the lifts thinking the places I want to go to were on other floors then the one I was on and only discovered once I got off the lift and walked over to the map, which was too far away from the lift The food is extremely bad the entertainment is very good and the ports are very good but entertainment and food go hand-in-hand to make any cruise exceptional while they entertainment was excellent. The food was so bad even Beat.

The complete professonalism of the staff ,and company to ensure your experience is the best ever is outstanding
The ease of embarking and disembarking was just so smooth; the cabins were fantastic, clean and spacious, and the Cabin attendant was there to answer or help us with any issue that may have arisen.
The food was lovely in the buffet but actually jumped up at least another level, if not two, in the restaurants. The MSC staff on this ship, Splendidia, were outstanding, so polite, easy to deal with, and always courteous. They made this cruise the great experience we had; they couldn't be more helpful all the time. It's hard to believe how hard they work to ensure we had the cruise of a lifetime
