Please avoid - I paid £350 which clearly said that you will receive 2 scan reports in 2working days. I received 1st report after 2days and report was like 10year old wrote it - no sizes of lesion... Vis mer

Only one technician there whole time I…
Only one technician there whole time I had my appt. Because of that checks that should have been carried out were rushed through and earphones not fitted on me as they needed to have been done. They weren’t tightened and so I heard every crash and bang amplified (instead of the ‘music’ they said I would hear.)
Consequently 9 weeks later I am still suffering from health issues relating to that night and only wished I had not had it done. As I am elderly it would have affected me more. This was at mri plus at Leigh-on-sea.

I booked for an open pelvic Mri scan at the Hendon clinic and paid up front for the gold service when I got there after a 3 hour journey I was told that they cannot do that scan this is despite conformation that they would
After apology’s they said they would refund the money I had paid weeks have passed and this has still not arrived
After a further phone call to them they said that they where busy
The whole thing is not could enough they are quick enough to take your money as of to date I still have not received my promised refund

This is a scam
This is a scam. I paid 300 for a mri and report because I was scared and didn't want to wait months, and they took advantage of my fear. They scanned the wrong part of my brain after reassuring me that they understood my request. They ignored all calls and emails, when I asked for the report I had paid for. I am weeks out, with no recourse to get my money back. There, to my knowledge, is no ombudsmen to report them to. Do not use them, they are immoral, they will not provide the service you pay for.

Harry (Radiologist)- made me feel at ease and comfortable. He tailored my two-hour scan so I would not feel nervous or anxious. I have a severe claustrophobic condition. He was very professional with the delivery of the service so a big thank-you to Harry.
Tamimi Nabeela Receptionist /Administrator- from the first point of contact was very professional and reassuring with her knowledge of what type of service package would suite my specific needs as per my GP report request. Big thank-you to Tamini. The report was received within two days and spoke discussion with the doctor took place the following day.

A possible sarcoma?
My GP had mentioned that a lump on my neck should be investigated as a possible sarcoma. I mentioned this to the radiographer. Had my scan on a Friday and NEXT MORNING was sent the radiologist report which put my mind at rest
Unfortunately unclear and blurry images
We had an MRI done for my son, but two consultants told us that the images were unclear and blurry. However, my son followed a diagnosis based on the MRI report before realising that the images were not good. To ensure he was following the right treatment, we had to repeat the MRI with the NHS and another private imaging clinic, and the results were completely different. We had to spend a lot of money and time on a diagnosis based on blurry and unclear images before we discovered this. I have tried contacting MRI Plus several times by email to address the inconvenience caused by the inaccurate report, but they have not responded.

Do not pay any extras! U won't get it!
Do not pay for any extras- YOU WILL NEVER GET IT. You will also not get call or email back or your money back (waiting since March!). I am gonna go for chargeback. Desperate people as myself go privat due falling NHS, spend their savings, than they get ripped off. Disgrace. I am not the only case- read below reviews before booking with them.

Booked myself an appointment which was fast within 2 days! Receptionist was lovely and very efficient.lady that did the scan was also lovely, I found it a bit difficult to be in the correct position for the scan but she took the time to make sure I was comfortable and reassured me it would all be ok. Results completed next day! Great service would recommend.

Highly recommend MRI PLUS
I recently had the pleasure of using the services of MRI PLUS in Hendon for a private MRI scan, and I cannot speak highly enough of my experience. The facility was clean, had parking and refreshments for guest. The entire process was smooth and efficient, with minimal wait times. The technicians were knowledgeable and took the time to explain each step of the procedure, ensuring I was comfortable.
What stood out most was the prompt delivery of results. Within a short period, I received a comprehensive report, which was easy to understand..

NEVER have I been asked to pay in full before receiving a service. In the private health care service eg Spire / Bupa a card number is requested to hold the appointment. And Spire don’t take any payment if an Appointment is cancelled.
With MRIPlus the Open MRI did not have any adjustments on the bed to allow my mother back/neck to be comfortable & to lay flat - so the scan could not be carried out. NOW MRIus are saying they won’t refund the £549 paid!!!!!
My Mother is 90 and does not have this sort of money to throw around.
What sort money-making scam is MRIPlus operating?
A non refundable deposit is surely how a legit company operates, not like MRIPlus - They took money for a Service they never provided. They won’t be hearing the end of this!!!!

I went to the MRI centre at Hendon The only reason I did not give five stars is it is badly sign posted and internal decor needs a bit of sprucing.The radiologist was very professional caring and conscientious. The results were recieved within 5days and I paid and fee to take CD with me

In my personal experience the service lacked professionalism and overall I was appalled. I was told the company had different owners since I last went to this facility, and that explains the drop in standard and poor communication skills.
I’ll be booking for another scan in the next few months, elsewhere, because I was less than impressed!

Very unhappy
Very unhappy. Booking and having the scan at Leigh on Sea was very good. The radiographers who did the scan were kind. After service is awful. I had the 7 working day package on Thursday 23/5and as the centre is open and scanning 7 days a week I expected my report the following Thursday 30/5. I called on Friday 31/5 only to be told the radiologist work 5 days - no mention of this was made to me verbally or on the website. I pointed this out - girl said she would chase. Today 4 June 12 days after my scans I called only to be told the report wasnt available and the girl said she would TRY to get it today. I am appalled at this service - I have asked for the management to call me so I can make an official complaint and get an explanation. BE AWARE of my experience if you are thinking of booking.
Well well that says it all about this company. IT HAS TAKEN THEM 21 MONTHS TO RESPOND TO MY REVIEW. Today is 26 FEBRUARY 2026 and this is the first contact I have had from them about my review dated 23 May 2024.

I recently had an Open MRI Full Spine scan at MRI Plus, and I must tell you about the great experience that I have there. I must appreciate them for their excellent service & commitment i.r.t. patient comfort. Unlike traditional MRI machines, the open design of their scanner significantly reduced any feelings of claustrophobia or anxiety I had. The technologists were incredibly supportive throughout the process, ensuring I should felt at ease from start to finish. I appreciate the convenience and comfort provided by this service and would highly recommend it to anyone in need of spinal imaging.

I would agree with other reviews on this company. Do not use them. I booked an MRI and then cancelled 10 minutes later as I had booked the wrong thing. I phoned them up immediately to cancel. They are refusing to refund me. Scam artists. Avoid like the plague.

2nd report after chasing it -came after 7days,a bit better report,but again - no sizes of suspicious areas mentioned in reports,very unprofessional.
I asked my money back or full and detailed report- instead of answer they send you attachment with images.

This is an unprofessional firm and a massive avoid at all costs - this is a charlatan company - read more reviews and save your money from this company as there will be no recourse for you once you pay these scammers. Also, do some research into this company and you'll see their own professional body deems this company's services as not currently meeting the appropriate standards.
They sent me an email confirming my refund would be sent to my account within a few days. - 2 weeks later nothing and no return calls or reply to emails.
