We recently did business with Monulo and, despite a minor issue with our order, the overall experience was excellent.

A special thank you to Zephyr for his impeccable service. He handled the situation quickly, with professionalism and efficiency, and made sure everything was resolved to our full satisfaction.

Customer service like this truly makes all the difference. We would not hesitate to do business with Monulo again.

Ordered two Hanton Nordic Metal Morandi Metal Pendant Light - Nordic Minimalist Fixture Lights on March 27th ($328 USD). On March 28th, received an email advising my order was on its way, and providing a tracking number. Tried to look up order on 5th April and found there is no record of the tracking number - coming up as invalid, or 'please check'. Have tried emailing the company several times (5th and 7th April), and messaging them via their Facebook page, without success to date. Have just attempted again through the webform on their website. Will obviously have to report to Pay Pal. Edit April 9: have now received an email, providing the same tracking number and telling me my order has been 'shipped' (literally, as in sea freight) from China. The website advertises items are shipped "from a US warehouse with no long international wait". The carrier has now also changed from DHL (as originally advised) to Allied (cargo?). Apparently the items are supposed to be arriving "in the port" (what port?) by early May. All very obscure and misleading, and doesn't inspire trust.

SCAM!!! I lost almost $500 to this “company”. The website seems legitimate, but it is not. I ordered a lamp and a light fixture for almost $500 total. I then started getting emails from “Faunce” saying that although I was promised free shipping, I actually needed to give them $100 more. He kept saying he wanted to “negotiate”. When I received the one light fixture, the finish wasn’t as pictured and I wanted to return it. He said I could send it back to a warehouse in China myself (which would have been exorbitantly expensive). And that he kept trying to “negotiate” with me to keep it at a discount. I reported this to my credit card company (I never even got the lamp!!!!), and “Faunce” just lied to my bank. Mind-blowing! Now I am out $500. I’m still getting emails full of lies 4 months later from “Faunce” BEWARE!!!

This company is a scam!!! DO NOT buy from them. They have a very nice website and seem to be a legit company. However, it’s all fake! I ordered 2 pendant lights from them thinking they were a real company because they use shop for tracking. When I checked the status of my order it said the lights were delivered. That was strange because I never got an email saying my order was shipped. I have tried to email their support team with no response from them. I want a refund and also want them to be held accountable for scamming people!!!

Sophie was so helpful! Our lights arrived and were just as described. We are very happy with the look.

UPDATE:
After Monulo saw this review the replied with an offer of a 50% refund. They also asked that I remove my review. I accepted the refund and told them I would consider removing the review. I don’t believe that is a very honest business practice. While the lights were very pretty, the general handling of things is not. To be clear, that’s not on the customer service agent, who was very polite through the whole process, this is the practice of the business and their leadership team. Their website says the offer returns but the make it very difficult and expensive to do so. My recommendation is that you only order from this company if you are absolutely sure you want what you order.

I ordered two Eloise ceiling lights. Within minutes of placing the order, I realized they weren’t going to work for my space and immediately emailed to cancel. Their website clearly states that cancellation requests can be made within 48 hours, so I expected it to be straightforward.

A customer service representative replied in the middle of the night saying she had “frozen” my order, but also tried to persuade me to keep it by offering a 5% discount. I responded right away and asked her to please cancel the order.

Shortly after, I received another email with tracking information saying the order had shipped. I replied asking why it was shipping if the order had been frozen. Several days later I received a message saying responses would be delayed due to Chinese New Year.

When they finally replied, instead of addressing the cancellation they asked how I liked the light. I immediately requested a return. After several more back-and-forth emails, I was eventually told to bring it back to the warehouse myself. No address was provided—just another offer for a discount.

Shipping the lights back via FedEx Ground to Chino (where the warehouse appears to be) would cost about $120 per fixture, and I still have not received any clear instructions on how to return them.

The whole experience has been incredibly frustrating and feels very misleading. The customer service has been terrible and the process intentionally difficult.

Also, while the light itself is pretty, the metal finish is not accurately represented online. It’s much more of a very yellow gold rather than the brass tone shown in the photos on the website.

Not only do they sell beautiful wares but they provide excellent customer service.
I was interested in buying two ceiling lights but was nervous that I would have to pay tariffs. I reached out to them inquiring about if tariffs would be in addition to the cost of the ceiling lights and within a day they responded after researching my request. They also included a coupon code. I haven’t had this level of customer service in a great while. Strongly recommend this company.

This green milkglass ceiling light is absolutely gorgeous. Shipping and delivery was quick and product packed well. The light itself was easy to install and looks great in my daughter’s bedroom. Highly recommended. Thank you for a great product.

The sconces we purchased from Monulo were the exact same that we found on Pottery Barn. High quality, fast (and free) shipping, & affordable pricing. We will be looking for more lights from Monulo.

I had to replace a wall sconce, and I ordered the Eloise model. It was easy to install and good quality. The item was shipped from their Chino warehouse and came quickly. The item was affordable. I’m pleased with my experience and I would order from here again.

I agree wholeheartedly with what another reviewer said. When the order was taking 6, then 8 weeks to arrive, I realized it was probably coming from China, and yes, that is the case.

I ordered 6 fixtures, which I came to find out had to be gathered from all different distributers in China, then boxed up and shipped across the ocean to a port in the U.S., then get re-collated before getting shipped to me via FedEx. My single order came in 2 separate FedEx shipments a week apart (order placed 11/20/25, last shipment arrived today - 1/4/26).

I just got the second shipment today, and when I opened the pair of vanity lights I ordered in brushed nickel, they are clearly chrome instead. After Googling and reading a previous reviewer's experience, I'm guessing they probably didn't even have the brushed nickel in stock (or maybe it never existed??), but figured they'd send these anyway and get some money out of me, because there's no way I'm shipping them back to China. I'm hoping I can get some sort of recompense since this is clearly not what I ordered.

The other fixture that arrived today was a metal bowl type fixture and there is a dent in it. Welp, I'm gonna have to live with it. I was also very dissatisfied with another fixture in the order (so 5 out of 6). This fixture came with a "3-color changing LED" which had no info on the site, but I assumed was something you could adjust via a small switch on the fixture as you were installing it. Come to find out, it's a dim array of tiny LED bulbs integrated into the fixture, and the only way the Kelvin setting changes is.... every time you turn the wall switch on and off....so each time you turn the switch on and off you get a different color temperature. Fun, right?? We liked the glass shade on this one - I can say we were very happy with that, so we asked our contractor to rip the LED board out and replace with a normal socket. I should have just ordered a vintage milk glass shade off of eBay and saved the trouble. Seriously, with my budget, I'm going the vintage route from now on - it would be a lot less trouble and save all of the resources spent manufacturing and shipping this disappointing stuff.

***UPDATE 2/17/26***

Monulo provided me a refund that amounts to 16.5% of my original order and asked if I could delete my negative review. I don't feel right taking this down because the review I'd originally seen that was similar to mine is no longer there. I think people need to be aware.

I ordered a new light for my guest room, the quality and look was exactly what I wanted. However, the light arrived damaged and I reached out to customer service and they gave me different options to solve the issue. I am waiting for my replacement light. Thanks for the great customer service and product.

The customer service at Monulo was incredibly kind & helpful. Incredibly happy with my experience with them. Product was good quality! Will buy from them again!
