It took almost 2 months for us to receive the light. Once the light arrived, we were informed that the color of the light will change every time we turn it off and on - there is no way to fix the light color. It is unbelievable how bad the experience has been.

Defective Cheap Lights from Lightcollects.com – Avoid This Company

I ordered two lights from Lightcollects.com at the end of February 2026. They finally arrived on April 7 after a very long delay. The packaging was excessively taped, but the product quality was extremely poor: cheap, thin metal with rough edges that were just painted over, a bent base on one light, and a broken piece that holds the top of the fixture (plus a sliver of glass loose in the box).

The bulbs are disappointingly dim, and the cover is very difficult to remove and impossible to reinstall properly. This made the lights essentially unusable.

I contacted the company immediately upon receipt. They admitted shipping from Asia and said returning the items would be ‘too expensive,’ suggesting I take them to a local store for repairs instead. When I insisted on a full refund for the defective merchandise, they offered only 50% back.

This company is based in Suzhou, China (no meaningful US support), and their customer service has been unhelpful and dismissive. Their return policy and quality do not match what they advertise. I am still pursuing a full refund and would strongly advise others to avoid purchasing from Lightcollects.com—cheap price reflects very cheap, low-quality goods and poor support.

Save yourself the headache

Total scam. I initially ordered, then did a bit more research and reached out right away to cancel my order - a few hours later. While I was able to catch them in time before they shipped the lights, it took several weeks and 5 email exchanges before they agreed to cancel the order. Since I had no confidence, I also flagged the charge to my bank, who then filed a dispute with Klarna, their payment platform. Now they are refusing to process my refund until I withdraw my dispute with Klarna. My response is that I can't withdraw my dispute until they remedy my dispute, however they seem to claim they can't provide a refund while my dispute is active.

Oh, and why did I cancel? Based on all the horror stories about time to ship and quality of product - not because I changed my mind about the order. I normally do a lot of research before making an online purchase with a new retailer (have never bought Temu, for example), but I was moving and overwhelmed and made a massive mistake. Learn from me and stay away!

Months waiting

It's been over 2 months since I ordered and I'm still waiting. They're site shows that my items are in the US now. I will never buy from them again.

Defective product. Unprofessional. Fraud.

Defective product from the start that never worked despite troubleshooting and confirmation from a licensed electrician that installation was not the issue. I only received a partial refund of $70 on a ~$300 product, and never received the full refund that was expected. The refund process was chaotic, with inconsistent amounts communicated, unclear accounting, and repeated follow-ups required on my side. At multiple points the company also stopped responding (“ghosted” communication), which further delayed resolution. Overall, a very frustrating and poorly handled experience. Would not recommend.

Ordered a pendant light for my dining…

Ordered a pendant light for my dining room. The light arrived well packaged and exactly as shown on the website. Installation was simple and it looks amazing above our table. Really happy with how it transformed the space.

I was a bit worried about shipping since the light has glass parts, but it arrived very well packaged with plenty of protection. Everything was intact and easy to assemble. The design looks modern and fits perfectly in our bedroom. Very pleased with the purchase.

Terrible company, Dishonorable, Fraudulent claims on returns.

Still trying to get a return.

Currently have an active fraud case out against this company

Light arrived with missing wiring.
In general, cheap plastic lights found on Amazon for around 30-40$ passed off at a premium.

Please report this company, they operate payments through a local company Vividreamss, which has the exact same complaints.

Report to better business, Report to your bank, and open a dispute against them if they don't follow their own return and refund policy, as it makes it fraudulent to post this and then not honor it or even send a return address to you.

My cases are still active with them at the bank and Better Business.

Report to ReportFraud.ftc.gov and bbb.org (Better Business Bureau.

Also speaking to a lawyer about taking them to court or even filing a class-action lawsuit.

I do think they are based out of the Communist state of China, so a law suit may not work but it would block them from ripping others off in the future

This is a scam website

This is a scam website. I purchased 2 lights, was charged immediately but the lights never shipped and the company will not respond to my inquires. I am disputing charges with my credit company and writing this review to warn others not to purchase from this scam website. Located in China, no number to call and they just ignore emails. SCAM.

REPORT YOUR ISSUES TO YOUR LOCAL ANTIFRAUD AGENCY

Seller is refusing to issue cancellation for purchase of goods made on march 7.
Seller's cancellation policy states that order can and will be cancelled and fully refunded if parcel is yet to be shipped.
Seller is claiming the order is uncancellable, citing parcel has shipped and sent a tracking number.
Investigating tracking number reveals label bas been created today, but UPS has not received said package.
Investigating the seller's platform also reveals the items have yet to be shipped.
This issue and fraudulent seller have been reported to the Canadian Anti-Fraud Center.

UPDATE MARCH 20 8:45

Order number, Date of purchase, Order status, Payment status and Total amount paid HAVE ALL BEEN PART OF ALL OF THE 10 EMAILS that the seller received by the customer and that the seller has been using to reply to ALL 10 CANCELLATION REQUESTS.
Furthermore, the customer has also provided photographic evidence of the UPS real shipping status with all of these requests.

Worst Online Experience

That we had to wait two months to receive the lights was the least of our problems. Unfortunately the lights we purchased did not work with our electrical system in our new home. Before purchasing I confirmed online that they had a 30 day money back guarantee. When I explained the problem and asked how to return the two lights they said they could only give me a partial payment due to production and shipping costs. When I emailed them saying that was not acceptable and wanted a full refund as advertised, they stopped responding to my emails. I am writing this review so others will know they do not honor their own guarantee. Unfortunately for us we are out over $300.00. We were able to purchase lights from Wayfair that work perfectly.

They will ghost you

Once you have a complaint or return they will just give you the run around once delivered. Do not trust. Extremely poor quality product out of China that ships by boat
