The usual great Montane shorts except for.....
My husband's first Montane shorts were bought in 2018.
They were great and a pleasing cream colour.
This colour has not been seen since.
He has a dark blue pair and a grubby khaki pair.
I was very excited to see what looked like a light beige pair this year called 'ridge' but they turned out to be a paler khaki.
He is also complaining about the belt buckle which is more complicated now.....why does everyone have to fix things that don't need fixing?
Besides these two niggles, they are as usual, great shorts', which he lives in the entire Summer from April to the end of September.

Cant Fault The Repair Work. Like New
I needed a trouser repair which had quite a big tear in it. I received the trousers back looking brand new as if this huge rip never existed. Really impressed and very very happy with the results. Thank you :)

The order arrived quickly and when I expected it.
I’m a bit disappointed that the belt doesn’t have the same clip fastening that used to be the standard when bought on a pair of trousers. I doesn’t appear to be as sturdy.

The repair on my Terra XT trousers has given them a new lease of life and came back within days of me posting them off.

Not a proper repair….just a patch on top.
This review is regards a repair done by Montane on a pair of their trekking trousers which were burnt by ironing (brand new - never worn).
The burn mark was on the rear thigh and approximately 10 cm square.
The repair was simply a piece of material laid over the burn area (which being a synthetic material is stiff and scratchy) and the original fabric left in place.
The original fabric (burnt) is scratchy on the skin and will no doubt irritate when worn.
Not good enough, and if I could be bothered would have been sent back to be done ‘professionally’.

down jacket repair
I wanted my down jacket repaired so used the Montane repair service. Was a very easy process, my jacket was returned and the repair was so good that I couldn’t tell how the repair was done or where the original rip in the jacket sleeve was.
