Great service

I've been a loyal customer of MonsterPlumb for over a year now, and I can confidently say that their service has consistently exceeded my expectations.

Their team is not only prompt in their responses but also incredibly courteous and attentive to the specific needs of their clients.

I'm a professional plumbing and heating…

I'm a professional plumbing and heating engineer, I go through a 1,000 copper end feed 1/2" male and a 1,000 copper end feed 1/2" females per years, the contract I have insists on the superior copper fitting, which are nearly twice the price of the poor quality brass ones. Over the 10 order per year I guarantee they will send the cheap brass ones, but with no refund etc. I call that cheating.
By all means buy from this company, but watch them like a hawk for conning you.

Hello David. Apologies for the mistake with your order. You received incorrect items, which was due to a picking error in the warehouse. We immediately sent out the correct items and picked up the incorrect items from you at the same time. So we are unsure how this is cheating, how we have conned you, or why there was a refund due?

When dealing with your issue, for some reason, you could not seem to understand or comprehend how a simple mistake can happen. It is not ideal, and we try our very best to have procedures in place to keep these to a bare minimum, as explained, this one unfortunately, slipped through the net.

To put things in perspective, i can see you have placed 3 orders over the last 12 months with us, had less than 200 of these fittings combined, and once in this time received incorrect fittings. Not exactly as you state.

When trying to sort the issue for you, you made it extremely difficult, and intent on making a mountain out of a molehill, to the point where you accused one of our customer service team of putting your life in danger, as when they called, you were up a scaffold?!? You then stated reputations can be damaged very quickly, which is obviously where this review has come from. At no point have any of our customer services team been anything but polite, courteous and attentive to sort the mistake out for you, so it all seems very bizarre, and goes back to you not seeming to believe that mistakes can happen.

Apologies again for the issue with the order.

POOR QUALITY ENDFEED FITTINGS!

Ordered multiple items from this company. Talon pipe clips very good price, my issue is with there copper end feed fittings. On the website it states they are WRAS approved and BS EN 1254 compliant. Some were genuine fittings but the majority were cheap Chinese fittings of really bad quality! Really thin! A lot were really loose fitting when put onto copper pipe. Will use the company again for items, just not buying end feed fittings again from here.

Hello Henry, Thank you for your review. We have never used Trustpilot, or even knew there was a page for our company, so this review has only just come to light, apologies for the delay in responding. I have just checked and we do not have any customer with your name who has ever purchased from us? i can confirm all our endfeed fittings are most certainly WRAS approved, and to BS EN1254, we do not buy in fittings which are not. The majority of our fittings are Flowflex, but we do have several sources. If you wish to contact us with your order number so we can look into the products in question we would be more than happy to do so, as we have very few issues at all with our endfeed fittings, and would like to keep it that way, especially as we sell hundreds of thousands of these fittings each week.

If you can find a company more honest…

If you can find a company more honest and straight forward as this company let me know . They are outstanding . I had a small problem which may have been my fault or maybe not .. no problem to them at all next day the problem was solved .. no quibbles no qualms . DONE .

Don’t bother

Poor service, ordered a radiator to be delivered, said 3-4 days on the website, purchased. Once purchase complete received an email to say it would be a week and delivery on 16th December. 16th came and went with no correspondence whatsoever, 17th still no delivery so called the company.
My order hadn’t gone through to the supplier and would have to wait another week! That’s another week in December with no heating!
Asked for a refund so can use money to try order one elsewhere and the response …… “well it’s upto the sales team to sort that”
Please do it ASAP, I need the money to buy a new one!
In short……. Don’t bother!

Well stocked and competitively priced

Good stock of JG Speedfit, used website twice now and it appears that what is on the website they have in stock, the prices are competitive and they deliver quickly, good communication too.
Glad to find them as I've been let down by websites that do not actually have all the stock and it holds up the job

Excellent service

Excellent service. The product I ordered was no longer produced by the manufacturer, so Monsterplumb sourced from alternate suppliers around the country. It took a little over a week, but once sourced delivery via DPD was fast and efficient.

Many suppliers would taken ages and then just told me they couldn't supply. So very impressed that Monsterplumb went the additional mile to service my order.

Probably the best online company I've ever dealt with!

Chrome single ring and backplate order.
Couldn't fault this transaction in any way. Order arrived within two days. Items were great, in fact better than they looked on line and great price. Courier (DPD) advised in advance what time delivery would be and they were spot on too, so full praise to them as well. Superb company to deal with. I don't have any connection to them apart from being one very satisfied customer!
