Don't bother online; wrong items sent, customer service took 4 weeks to respond via email to send a returns label (in this day and age, returns should be accessiable online). Sent items back, tracking showed items sat in delivery depot for approaching a week at the request of the recipent. Finally delivered, but 3 weeks later still no refund. Raised a chargeback request with the bank.
Following up on this review left on 3rd January. Letter received from the bank today (28th January); my chargeback has been successful and the bank have claimed the funds back from Molton Brown. Molton Brown now have 45 days to dispute this, however given their track record in regards to customer service, and the evidence I submitted to the bank, I doubt I will hear anymore.
Just love Molton Brown, such a variety of products good quality all smell divine. Unlike other products the bath and Shower products aren’t watery. Great products.
Molton Brown has disingenuously used C-19 as a reason to stop taking cash payments. This is nonsensical in hygiene terms (and doubly so for a shop in which hand washing facilities are rife), precious, and above all discriminatory. Cash is the only form of payment potentially available to everyone, so when you stop offering the facility to pay with it, you are intentionally denying a considerable number of people the opportunity to purchase your products. You are also encouraging the continued takeover of personal finance by credit card companies whose charges increase your prices for everyone. Whatever Molton Brown's poorly-considered reasons, the result is contemptible.
I placed an order on 20th November for a Gingerlily pamper set. On 25th November my order arrived but I had been sent a Black Pepper set by mistake. I emailed customer services about exchanging for the correct item. This was a gift for a friend, and I had bought her the perfume to match so it was important to have the correct set (which contained body wash, lotion and hand cream)
On 1st December I sent a chase up email as I still had not recieved a reply to my original email. I got a reply the same day saying I could keep the item sent in error and that the item I had ordered would be sent out asap. I was originally very impressed with this unexpected and generous goodwill gesture.
However, 2 weeks later and the item I ordered has still not arrived (nearly a month since I placed the order!) I emailed customer services on 14th December asking when I could expect it but as of 16th December still no reply.
I appreciate that human error happens and had this been resolved in a timelier manner I would not have had an issue at all. However, to still be waiting for my order nearly a month after I placed it, and no guarantee of delivery before Christmas is disappointing.
Great products and good service from on-line shop... but way too expensive for what it is.

Have moved over to l"occitane as the products are much nicer and their customer service is second to none. I would advise you to not bother with Molton Brown and try thm out instead.
When you claim to have a quality product and charge your customers a fair whack for them, then it really isn't difficult to provide an efficient delivery service for their purchases.
THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR TAKING 7-14 WORKING DAYS TO DELIVER AN ORDER!!
Most terrible customer service EVER experienced, I placed an order on the 2nd November 2020 and it still has not arrived! Despite emails to customer service I have never received a response other than an automated message to phone ....... What a joke that is! How can a company operate a Customer Service department that is only open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm? This is so outdated! You can never get through, I have never received a response, an apology or a phone call and still some 19 days after placing an order I still have not received it???? This is despite getting an email from Molton Brown asking how I was enjoying the product .... What product? The tracking states it is in Leicester and yet I live in Leeds ....... It has been there since the 4th November ...... And yet no email, no phone call and no apology or product. THIS IS SHAMEFUL
Cannot fault them! Have been having to order online the last few months which has been trouble free and everything still always packaged perfectly.
Still prefer going into my local store - Silverburn - where the staff have always been absolutely fantastic, very helpful and always go the extra mile.
I have now spread my Molton Brown addiction to family and friends who also love the products.

I made an error in the initial order, no problem to cancel that initial order and then reorder correctly.
Big fan of their Re-charge Black Pepper shower gel. A shame that delivery isn't free (like Amazon) for a £22 product.
I’ve been purchasing Molton Brown products for a number of years. On the whole the products are really good despite the price.
That was until I decided to use their click and collect service with PayPal.
On the order it clearly stated order available to collect within 1-3 working days at your chosen store.
After waiting 3 working days after The order was placed, customer services were contacted. They were incredibly apologetic and stated they would send the order ASAP.
To cut a long story short, it was quicker to drop into the store and purchase the products directly.
But then despite contacting customer services again requesting cancellation For the click and collect order, they then decide to send the click and collect order to the store.
It seems that there is little coordination and Molton Brown logistically are about as good as Hermes in dealing with orders. Such a shame for a premium product.
Ordered 7pm on 28th May standard delivery, received 30th May at 10am. Absolutely marvellous service in these difficult times. Thank you.

Love their products but always prefer to buy in store rather than order online as I would rather drive 1000 miles than deal with Hermes
I really like many of the products, such a treat for my body and soul. the choice of fragrances is amazing. I love it ;-)
Great products however their choice of courier Hermes lets them down.
