They are horrible to do business with. They tell you you can return your pens but don’t tell you you have to pay to have them shipped to CHINA! there are so many great US companies to purchase from. Do not water your time or your money with Modesees

I purchased this garment after seeing it advertised on Instagram. Delivery took a very long time, and when the item finally arrived, it looked completely different from how it had been presented online. The website appears to use AI-generated models and images that do not accurately represent the actual product. The fit was also extremely poor.

I requested a return and a full refund, but the company refused to provide a prepaid return label. Instead, I was told that I would have to pay to return the item to China, despite the return postage costing almost as much as the garment itself.

The company then offered to send me a replacement product free of charge and allowed me to keep the original item. I accepted this proposal, but the replacement never arrived. I followed up several times, after which the company simply stopped responding.

The entire experience has been deeply frustrating. The advertising appears misleading, the products bear little resemblance to the AI-generated images used online, and the customer service seems to rely on automated responses that repeatedly go around in circles without providing any genuine or practical resolution.

I bought 2 dresses for more than $200 dollars in Modesees and they send one horrible dress and the other one I never ever received. That was 2 months ago.
They don’t send message about , they really don’t care .
How can this Company make business in USA?

The material looks and feels cheap and unpleasant, and the cut is equally disappointing. The item looks nothing like it does in the photos.
I have been trying for five days to get return instructions, but no one from customer support has responded to my emails !!!!!!
Overall, this has been an extremely disappointing customer experience. I would not recommend ordering from this company.

Dresses are cheap material and horrible fitting. They do not look anything like the pictures. Prepare for at least a 30 day delivery. If you try to return, they will make it so expensive and painful you finally give up.

I have ordered from Modesees twice now. Both times, it took months to receive my order. I wanted to exchange something and the first time it was no problem. This time, they told me I was outside my delivery window (15 days) only I just got the delivery mid last week. I asked them to show me delivery receipts, as I can show my door camera when the clothes were delivered. I will never order from them again! Like many Chinese companies, it's too difficult. And these are not Shein prices!!

Dresses were definitely not as advertised- cheap and horrible fit, it took a month for them to respond and then made the return so complicated and expensive I finally gave up. For me to keep the dresses they offered 20% credit then only gave me 10%. Horrible company do not buy anything from them!!!

Do not order. I ordered 2 dresses in May they were too large. I returned them right away it is now August 2 nd and I still have not received a refund. They state on the website guarantee a refund. This is not true

The company never responded when I tried to return my item in 30 days and then never responded to any emails, calls or texts when asking about why I haven't received a dress from them I ordered 8 months ago. I guess I am out $200 for the dress I wanted to return and $150 for the dress I never got!

I ordered a set that didn't fit.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY, Its impossible to make a return, they will ask a lot of questions and you need to pay for shipping back to china.

One star is honestly being generous. This company makes returning a brand-new, unworn item with all original tags intact a deliberate exercise in exhaustion. Instead of a straightforward process, you are forced into an endless loop of unnecessary back-and-forth emails designed to frustrate you into giving up.

If a business chooses to operate internationally—particularly targeting customers in North America—they have a basic obligation to provide a functional, fair return process. If you are going to make it virtually impossible for overseas customers to return brand-new merchandise, then do not do business outside of China.
Save your time, your money, and your sanity. Do NOT buy from this company.

The original order did not fit as I expected, but the Customer Service liaison was most helpful in adding me with an exchange.

When I originally contacted customer service because a dress we ordered was sized incorrectly based on normal sizing guidelines, the Modesses team was responsive although, clearly they must have been using google translate to understand the points I was making about the dress. When they finally agreed to replace the item, I was told to use the website (link provided by them ) to select something else for an exchange, which I did 3 times because each time the item was backordered. Finally when I selected an item, I was told it would be a little delayed since it was backordered but would be shipped once available. My original item was ordered March 16th, delivered March 30th. The replacement item still till today shows Pre-Order with no ship date listed. I've emailed the Modesses team multiple times in June and July to exchange for items listed as available to be shipped out in 24hrs and I've been ignored by their team. I tried to complete the exchange online but keep running into issues (assuming its because this is an exchange item already). Modesses, for the fact that your items aren't that cheap you should have better customer service.

The customer service was quick to find a resolution and the dress is great In person.

Update: After my complaints to Modesees and their delivery agent, UniExpress, I posted the below review and also notified my payment source. The item was then properly delivered-without notice- on July 25th. Item is as ordered and appears to be of good quality. Unfortunately what should have been a very positive experience was undermined by poor delivery service, and initial lack of customer support.

I can’t rate the product as it was never received. Delivery agent Modesees used- UniExpress / Uniuni - claimed they tried to deliver item but “no one home to sign”. I was home on both dates claimed; exterior security cameras have no record of a delivery attempt. Modesees chat agent claims they can’t help and that their customer service agents will not be available due to a “National Holiday”. There is no national holiday on my contact date-24 July- in China, US, Canada or anywhere else. Delivery service is apparently fraudulent and Modesees Customer Service is non existent.

The pictures are fabulous, but there’s no way to send them back at a reasonable cost. They make it very difficult to even find out how to refund and you have to pay the shipping which goes to China for 60 bucks from Florida. I would not suggest ordering.
p.s. be sure to read their response. This wasn’t a mistake on the airport. It’s the way they do business and it’s awful.

Unbelievable. Forget the really poor fit and quality, the customer service is the worst. You cannot return anything without sending it to China. For real. They will offer you 50% refund of money if you want to ship anything back. If you want to buy anything just request a refund and you'll get half your money back. But, the clothes are just so bad that you shouldnt waste your time. It took approximately 15 emails to even get that refund. I just tossed everything in the garbage.

I have sent numerous emails to the customer service email address. I am requesting return/refund information in order to return my merchandise. My emails have gone COMPLETELY unanswered. It appears that they are INTENTIONALLY avoiding returns an refunds. My next plan is to report them through the appropriate channels. I have already informed my attorney. My order #MD115015

Your response has further insulted me. The only information youre giving me is your support service link which is the SAME email address I've been sending my request for return address.
