This was our first trip with Miru. Absolutely everything went as planned. The documentation process was easy, and the staff was helpful. We have traveled with Rich and Shirley before. They are both extremely knowledgeable and abundantly kind. A joy to travel with, as always.

Wonderful Trip! Such an interesting part of our world that I was glad to learn more about. Especially look forward to going back to Georgia one day! Thank you Miru, thank you Gary Wintz our fearless leader! Amazingly good food and incredible hotels aside from the fantastic itinerary.

My journey through the breathtaking Caucasus countries was a remarkable experience. This trip was an absolute revelation, thanks to the exceptional tour leader, the knowledgeable local guides, the excellent accommodations and selection of restaurants, and the quality of the discussions.
First and foremost, Gary, our tour leader, was nothing short of outstanding. His enthusiasm, knowledge, and impeccable organizational skills made this adventure smooth and unforgettable. He not only kept us engaged and excited throughout the entire trip but also fostered a sense of camaraderie among our group. His passion for the region was contagious, and it made each day an exciting new chapter in our exploration.
Our local guides were excellent. Their deep understanding of the history, culture, and geography of their countries was evident in every explanation and story they shared. They brought the region to life, making history feel vivid and culture come alive. The personal anecdotes and insights they provided added a unique and insightful dimension to the journey.
As already mentioned, the hotels and restaurants met all expectations. But, what truly set this trip apart, though, was the quality of the discussions. Every day, we engaged in meaningful dialogues about the rich history and diverse cultures of the regions we visited. The intellectual stimulation and the opportunity to exchange thoughts with the guides and fellow travelers were priceless. From ancient traditions to contemporary issues, these discussions enriched the entire journey. (with a special mention for our guide in Georgia).
In summary, my trip was an extraordinary experience. I returned home with a newfound appreciation for the beauty and complexity of the Caucasus, and memories that will last a lifetime. I recommend this tour without reservation.

The trip was perfectly organized. The places we’ve visited were the highlights of each geographic locations. The guide was on top of all and took care of all arrangements as well as individual needs. The local guides were very knowledgeable of their domains and personable. Accommodation and restaurants were the best and the drivers very experienced and professional.

We appreciated the organization, the local guides, Gary took very good care of us and made sure we saw and did all we anticipated and then more. My only complaint is that I felt the office was not as responsive and organized as it could have been regarding itinerary and communication with us. Thank you for an amazing educational experience.

Our trip to Papua New Guinea and despite local logistic problems our leader Shirley dealt with them all as best she could, from lost luggage, to a poor hotel and not quite getting she had hoped for but she was cooo calm and collected.

Itinerary and camp selection provided a very diverse experience in both Namibia and Botswana. Camps, local guides/trackers along with all of staff were exceptional.
Small group size provided an intimate experience that was tailored to the needs of the group.
Chris was fantastic in knowledge, coordination and interpersonal skills.
We were fortunate to experience some amazing wildlife encounters and events.

IT was amazing, lodge, food great.

Trip of my life

Travelling with Rich and Kristin is always a pleasure. Doing it in Palau just up'd the anti! Incredible location, incredible people = incredible trip. Was my first trip post covid and the entire staff made it easy. Thank you

Miru and expedition leader Dan Olsen went beyond all expectations to make this the trip of a lifetime. I don't know when this exact trip will be offered again, but ANY trip with Miru will be well thought out, organized, personal and never run of the mill.

Shirley and Rich made the trip a success by being prepared yet flexible, educational and fun, and setting up meetings with local caring and interesting people that we alone could never have managed. The boat's crew were amazing. And then there were the sights and experiences!

Miru Adventures organized our trip to Palau and Yap in an organized, informed, and always helpful manner. There were hiccups with our baggage (the airline's fault) in getting to our destination, and Miru's staff worked diligently to help us acquire it in as timely a manner as possible. Problem solving to get us clothing and gear were handled well. We felt relaxed and confident with all travel arrangements. Accommodations were lovely, adventures plentiful, snorkeling sights amazing.

To our guides, Rich and Kristen, thank you for your professionalism, friendliness, flexibility, and hard work. All of which made our trip perfect.

Traveling to Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda with Miru Adventures was a perfect trip. The camps and accommodations were great. The food was fabulous. Our local guides were amazing. We saw tons of animals and had many unique experiences. Our travel leader, Amber was always in a good mood, made everything so special and did it all seamlessly. It was a perfect trip.
