Issues with warehouse stock: Never order directly, only order from Amazon stock
Unfortunately, the current breakdown of the review points speaks for itself:

I ordered a BD795M Mainboard from
minisforumpc.eu products/minisforum-bd795m.
It preselects the German warehouse, and
in the shopping basket page, there is a link to their shipping policy:

It says that orders are sent within 1-3 days after ordering. I ordered a week ago and the order confirmation said: "We are preparing your order for shipping, and notify you when it has been shipped". One could expect this to be a confirmation that it should be in stock and shipped in 1-3 days as promised.
Nowhere, there is any information that the stock is not actually ready to be shipped, that the item is not acutally in stock in Miniforum's warehouse in Germany.
After 4 days, I asked for a statement when the shipmend will be made and got a response:

Thanks for your email. We are very sorry for the inconvenience.
We have a new batch of stock that was shipped from Hong Kong to our German warehouse in mid-January, but during this time it has been in a still in transit anomaly and hasn't arrived at our German warehouse in the actual normal time. We have received a reply from the logistics department that the new stock will arrive at our German warehouse in about 10 days. After the equipment arrives at the German warehouse, we will arrange shipment for you and update the tracking number.
Thank you for your understanding. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

So, in fact, the item not in stock in Germany and is just currently shipped to Europe. I consider that not communicating an out-of-stock sitation and not notifying the customer (not even after the order) that the item is not actually in stock at the warehouse ordered from, quite misleading, and I think such handling of the EU shop page of Minisform does not instill confidence that EU customers are actually treated with respect.
So, this is another confirmation that the reviews which strongly warm that one should never directly order from the Minisforum web site, are indeed correct and can be trusted.
The recommendation of other reviews, to instead order from Amazon, appears to be well-warrented:
Amazon never misled me or about their warehouse stock or about the delivery and never heard about such from Amazon.
As my order is 7 days out, and thus within the 30 days refund policy, I notified Minisforum that I cancel my order. Lets see if I get my money back.
I ordered from Amazon now (delivery by Amazon), where I should get delivery by the end of the week.
