Sitting for over an hour and still no food has been delivered to the table. We are in the Scotts Bridge Mill, Miller & Carter. Understaffed and over booked.

When we finally received our meal, the steak was cold, no steak knife provided and the tripple cooked chips were more like McCain frozen chips.

What a shame, i was sooo looking forward to The Miller And Carter Experience, at 71 and never been, with the price i was expecting excellence. Started off great good service, the pork belly was the best tasting starters i have ever had sadly that's where it ended. Looking forward to my steak experience ribeye steak and triple cooked chips honestly i have had better ribeye steak from Aldi and don't bother with paying extra for the triple cooked chips there the same as ordinary chips .Dessert ok. Too expensive.

Visited miller and carted at Harlow today, served by Wendy who went above and beyond enabling my wife to select a suitable meal as unable to eat steak at this time. Ambience and service was excellent, not rushed, a thoroughly enjoyable experience for us both, all thanks to Wendy.

Went to the epping forest branch were we had the sharing platter which was delightful we was served by Lucy who was very welcoming and pleasantly helpful really good service.

Four of us went for dinner in York and had the most delicious meals. Succulent steaks, fresh grilled trout, and yummy desserts! Our waiter, Fin, could not have been more helpful, courteous, and efficient. Definitely a positive dining experience!

we went as a group of 4 to celebrate a birthday. We each chose a fillet steak and 3 of us didn't finish, not because there was too much food but that it was inedible.
We pointed this out to the waitress whose only comment was that we buy the best meat. Nothing further so we left having paid a heafty bill fellong let down and unhappy. Very different from our 2 previous visits.

Generally good food but the atmosphere isn’t as nice, often there’s a long wait and the prices can’t really be justified. Service is great though.

Brilliant service, very helpful and friendly and made my birthday more special. Sue at @killay Swansea couldn't do enough for us 😊

Visited the Northampton restaurant last Saturday. This is supposed to be a premium brand. We had Poor service tables let uncleaned when people left and average food. They also tried to over charge by £20.
Raised this with them and only response was ‘ has your complaint been delt with in a timely manner and to your satisfaction’ No because nobody has bothered to get back to me.
It’s now the 11th Feb and still no response so leads me to conclude that they are not interested!

Over charged twice for w lot of money manager said sorry stay clear 1 mistake ok 2 no way

We visited yesterday afternoon for a birthday meal at the Mirfield restaurant. We were looked after by Rory & he is an absolutely fabulous waiter. He works so hard to please the customers & nothing is too much trouble. He is polite, friendly & caring. He deserves a bonus. He is an asset to Miller & Carter & they are so lucky to have him. Keep up the good work & you will fly young man. You made us very happy.

Went to the newly opened Portsmouth restaurant.
Seated in a very busy area, when plenty of seating was visible & available.
Food was nice, but the fact I couldn't have a conversation with my husband due to the tables so close together. People on tables next to us felt the same.
Wouldn't rush back unless you can specify where you want to sit.
Would have stayed longer if I felt more comfortable.

Avoid Weston super Mare , we have been 3 times in past 6 months for an evening meal on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights but, no matter if you book a table for 7pm or 7.30 pm or 8pm , you wait for a table even though there only half full, they never have sufficient number of staff, the service is slow, the quality of the food is average and over priced.
Other M&C in other towns are fine ie, you get served in a reasonable amount of time, not having to wait an hour and although expensive, the quality of food from the kitchen is superior. So, avoid Weston.

Poor service and average food. Steak not cooked as requested and butternut squash undercooked. Waiter was clearly unwell and staff seems untrained in basic etiquette. Not good value for money. Ashton under Lyne branch - won't be returning.

Had the fish & chips, the batter was rock hard & not much fish.

Went to Miller and Carter in Muswell Hill today The service was disgusting had to call over waitress .She seemed to be more interested in the better dressed customers .My friend and I were in tracksuits .I love Miller and Carter .the onion loaf was over done aswell as the chips .The dessert I was given was meant to be honey comb it was clearly vanilla .told the waitress she said she bring some honey comb. THEN over came the manger who said he saw the chef put honey comb ice cream .I said to him it was vanilla didnt want to argue the fact so we paid and left without the scoop of honey comb ice cream .Manager I found rude .Never left a tip .Will never go to that branch again

Donna was super pleasant and made the afternoon better

service not great, and deposit paid was not deducted at point of payment. a month on and many failed promises of return calls and refunds, still waiting for a refund. bitterly dissapointed. would urge anyone who paid deposit over Xmas check it was taken off your bill, apparently not automatically processed

Miller and Carter seem to be going from bad to worse. Never really enjoyed food there, it's cooked by kids not Chefs. We stopped using it years ago, but went last night as we had a gift voucher to use. They now seem to be using pre cooked food and re heating; on basis food was served within 5 minutes of arriving. Half Bourbon chicken was only a leg and a bit of breast, raw and barely warm, Coleslaw was simply sliced veg, no mayo or vinaigrette dressing, Rack of Pork ribs not really hot, meat pink by bone and Barbecue sauce tasted like HP barbecue sauce. To be frank I've enjoyed a McDonalds meal at 1/4 price more. We shan't be returning again
