I wasn’t sure at first, so I watched several of their full-length YouTube videos before signing up for a course. Even in the free content, Elli clearly aims to pack in as much valuable information as possible—and the Mastery Program maintains that same generous, teaching-focused approach throughout.

I LOVE everything about the Mastery Program at Milan Institute! The coaches are very responsive, skillful and kind. The lessons are full of extra helps in several ways of learning: video, written & pictorial. All the angles are covered for my needs in learning. Very clear instructive lessons broken down for beginners and in depth where even seasoned artist can learn so much wisdom and further thier techniques. I am grateful I joined the Mastery Program at Milan Art Institute and look forward to the years to come!!! I feel welcomed as family and that really brings everything together for me.

I love everything about Milan Art Institute! It’s foundation, family and future!!! So supportive and relational. They make sure they are accessible to us all. The updated lessons are so beautifully executed with up close, real time shots of each brush stroke and the instruction is clear. They have come along side me and so many others and breathed life into long layed down dreams. They have helped me, personally, to believe in my dream and ability to achieve it again. I never believed that this would happen to me. I am enrolled in the Mastery Program and doing what I now know, has been a lifelong longing to create art. I am loving the course with its focus on important foundation skills. Ellie and her team are brilliant at demonstarting how and why we do things to create excellent results. I can do this and the results are blowing me away. I cannot believe this is ME......thank you so much. The Mastery Program support network and encouragement is great. The course work is self paced and a winner for me as I can do it living in a country West Australian coastal town. I cannot wait each day to do the next lesson and see my skills grow.

I was so amazed at how much I have learned so far, MAI instructors teach you from how to hold a pencil to complex color theory and application. The coaching is second to none with timely advice and positive reinforcement.
Weather you are new to painting or an experienced artist there are lessons in this program that will make you better.

I started the Mastery program in May 2025 and have just applied to graduate. This was a lot of hard work and effort but so worth it. The classes are well structured and really build up your skills. For anyone seriously considering the program I highly recommend it if you’re dedicated and wanting to put in the work. It’s also super interesting and rewarding. They have built a great business with a professional, passionate team.

I have tried different programs from artists I love but what I really needed the Milan Art Mastery Program provides, from how to hold a pencil or brush to how to market my paintings. Their new format is really great! I started January 1 with the old program but have started over with the new.

My skill level is improving dramatically, the art course is brilliant, and the new updated version is even better.

The Milan’s are excellent teachers and generous with their time. The coaches in the program are helpful and give constructive advice. The community on the Milan art institute app are supportive and friendly.

Plus, the first oil painting of an owl I did for the first oil lesson, sold. I choose this course over many others, some cheaper , because I was impressed with the teaching and how quickly I saw an improvement from just taking a couple of the stand alone courses before deciding to invest in the mastery programme. Plus a whole section of this course is dedicated to the business side. It’s an ideal course for anyone wishing to develop a high level of skill and become a professional artist.

I’m from the UK so I didn’t buy the Milan art materials, but it’s easy enough to gather together what’s needed and source similar colours and materials.

The Milan Institute is incredible, awesome, challenging, and so worth the money. I don’t regret one moment. I’m becoming a better artist because of them. Grateful and so very blessed to be in the mastery program.

I’m only a beginner but learned so much in one months training! I love the way the classes is presented and enjoy every moment of it.

It has been a great beginning of a career as an artist. I started thinking it was a hobby, now I feel it has to be more like enjoying my second career and have fun with it. I have learn that while in the process, like anything in life, we have our ups and down. It has teaching me again to be disciplined with focus in mind of what I want to be. I am on my late 60's and I found love in what I am doing and dedicating time.
It was hard the first few months to keep the consistency, routine and to prioritize. It is important to show our weaknesses and strengths and the general community and the coaching calls are great if people are in the same mood of learning to be an artist. I am happy I signed up, unfortunately at the beginning I had two long trips that put me behind for about 5 months, which now I understand I shouldn't sign up so earlier knowing couldn't commit to it, but I was told it was OK, but it wasn't. I have felt behind since, b/c also I am still working. I do recommend it to anyone who wants to explore that road.

I’ve been part of the Mastery Program since December, and I’m genuinely very enthusiastic about it. Everything is explained clearly and thoroughly, and the teachers are fantastic. The coaches give feedback quickly and are also available every week through Zoom meetings, which makes the support feel very personal and accessible. The only thing I wish is that I had started earlier.

Its been a month that i have started .. its been a month feels like magic .. so professional the new program and all the setting .i feel that behind this program there is a lot of thinking and efforts to be so special high program. Thanks for the opportunity to be part of the family of changing the world through art.

This art program and company in general has been the absolute best I've ever seen or experienced. No wasted time, all valuable information, and great people to work on all aspects with!

Enrolling in the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program was one of the best decisions of my life! Truly! I am 62 years old and always dreamed about becoming a painter. Now I know it was divine guidance that led me here. I am a beginner but I am amazed at how much I learned in a short period of time. I discovered that I am able to draw! I didn't know how. I just needed the the right instruction. Drawing being a part of the program was a cool bonus. Same with painting, I quickly realized that it wasn't that I couldn't rather I just didn't have the know how. I completed my first oil painting with in the first two weeks! I am very pleased with how it came out considering I never painted one before. This is not your follow along copy paste tutorial. I tried those before and failed miserable. My first oil painting was using the very same techniques the "Old Masters" like Rembrant and Michelangelo did! The lessons are clear, concise short videos that are easy to follow and understand. You get to choose a source that is different from the instructor and then practice what you learned. This is a far better way to learn. And the coaches are outstanding! Not just one but several of them will give useful feedback to improve upon. Before I enrolled, I followed them for a year on social
media. Over time I became conviced that these are the people I want to learn from. They are very professional, dedicated, talented, and so passionate about guiding their students to develope their own unique expression. I love this program, so excited to be on this journey and looking forward to discovering the artist within!

The best masterclass I've ever had! I already paid for coachings that are much more expensive and had less content. This is not only an art coaching but also a personality coaching. So in my opinion, you get 2 for 1. Also I love that I can always watch the videos, even when I'm done with the class. Additionally there's in app where I could find artists in my region to connect with. On top you have coaches who help you with improvements of your paintings and the list goes on. Really such a well structured program.

I had every intention to just do the acrylic portion of the program and then return to the legacy program, however I love the new so much I am just going to continue. I love watching Demitri and Elli paint, sketch. I was not a fan of the time lapse. The new sources are exciting too! I want to do so many of them!
