just finished KITT from knight rider 1.8 scale from fanhome , decided to purchase the mods through Mike Lane and absolutely no regrets doing it. I’ve been building the Routemaster bus model. The wiring on that model is very complicated. I bought the Mike Lane remote electrical mod, which of course added more complexity. I was pretty nervous about the whole electrical project, but the Mike Lane directions on their website were extremely well done, with detailed photos and step by step instructions. Everything worked perfectly when I was finished. Well done to Mike Lane!

The mods for K.I.T.T. are simply amazing. I am VERY happy with them and don't regret my purchase! In addition, the support from Mike was GREAT. I had an issue with my monitors, but he helped me to diagnose the problem and supplied the necessary fix. Thanks, Mike!!

If you like partwork models then you know they're nearly there but not quite. That's where Mike lane mods comes in. That extra special something for your model that makes it stand out. I've used them for my bttf delorean and my 66 batmobile and found the innovative mods to be both really clever and of exemplary quality. Although I'm still only an amateur at this model making lark Mike Lane mods make the experience worthwhile. Customer service is good and understanding of problems taken on board to reach a satisfactory resolution. Sometimes communication can be slow but they get there eventually so all in all a superb addition to the partworks community 10/10

I bought this beautiful London Routemaster bus (IXO Collections) from Mike Lane's website and I'm delighted with the result.

It was a 1:12 scale die-cast metal kit (1247 pieces) that was quite complex to assemble. During assembly, I noticed that two cables were too short to connect to the circuit board.

I contacted Mike Lane for help. After some testing, he found a solution and sent me two cable extensions to fix the problem.
I finished assembling the bus and all the electronic components work perfectly.

What a fantastic and reliable online resource for large scale modeling... Was so glad to be referred to Mike's shop, he had the kit I wanted at a great price, along with his must-have "mods", and everything was dispatched to my US address within a week! Will 100% be shopping from Mike for my next kit.

Professionally, as a retired electronic defence design engineer, the circuit tester which I bought from Mike's organisation is a first class piece of equipment. I'm a compulsive hachette and deagostini (and more) modeller. Without this tester I'd be hunting in my toolbox for out of date kit.
Perfect BUT most of all, his business deals promptly, efficiently and most important of all (in my opinion) with manners and honesty. Well done Mike.

I'm not actually a model builder but I bought the Fanhome KITT from Knight Rider cause as an 80's child I thought it was really cool with KITT's features that normal models don't have. Then I discovered Mike Lane's mods and oh my God has it changed an already cool build into something truly special.

The detail and expertise they have put into their mods really are impressive and have converted me. Each piece is expertly thought through and created and the service has been perfect.

They have even replied well after hours and helped me out with a couple of things which is much appreciated so I highly recommend them to all.
