I loved the Level 2 Certification! Overall, it had a ton of amazing information, resources, handouts, etc! My only feedback would be that some of the powerpoints in the modules were missing videos or at least transcripts that felt necessary. Those standalone PowerPoints were regarding complicated concepts that I'm sure had nuances, and I would have loved an actual lecture on them rather than just reading PowerPoints. However with a medical background, I was able to infer my way through them and still was grateful for the education. Overall, I highly recommend!!

MMU has been such a pillar for me continuing to improve as a fitness coach. The MMU collaborative has truly helped me see how to apply education to real world cases. I used my knowledge everyday to help my female clients see better results and understand their bloodwork and body.

So far, MMU is exceeding my expectations. I am extremely motivated to continue on and utilize all the knowledge and expertise the coaches and instructors have to offer. I am looking forward to the future and to continue building on the knowledge base that MMU has instilled.

MMU is fantastic for people wanting to learn more about functional nutrition and how to apply real world cases to the materials presented. I loved having the option of joining a cohort class or self paced. The MMU collaborative is valuable as other students and practitioners that have gone through the program are available to help answer questions and provide support. There are also openings with other functional health practices that are posted as they become aware of them. I used my knowledge to create a plan for a family member who is already seeing success in improving their health condition. Thank you MMU!

Completing the Functional Health Practitioner certification through MMU has been one of the most valuable investments I’ve made in my career as a coach.

The program goes far beyond surface-level nutrition education, and dives deep into functional health and gives you what you need to actually apply the knowledge & methods. It teaches you (and actually helps you, through the live case study calls with mentors) how to think through complex health cases using a true root-cause functional approach, looking at how systems like gut health, hormones, metabolism, and lifestyle all connect.

Since completing Levels 1–3, I feel so much more confident supporting my clients. I’m able to ask better questions, identify deeper root causes, and create more individualized strategies that truly help my clients, even with the most complex considerations!

The knowledge in this program has blown me away. As a fitness coach, I really wanted to help more women with the complexities and underlying issues affecting their health and weight struggles. Every lesson opens my eyes to the complexities of the human body and how to better identify the root causes and help people heal. This feels like a masters level education with everything we're taught, and most importantly how to apply it to actually help people. I feel much more confident as a coach and also the steps to take for my own health, because of this program.

I'm a private practice registered dietitian-nutritionist and sports dietitian. During the first 8 years of my practice I was doing well, but found I was getting stuck with particular clients. I knew I needed further training in functional health to be able to take an even deeper dive in my client's health, while continuing to build my practice to take it to the next level. I shopped around and wasn't very happy with other programs and coaches that I spoke to. That is until I learned about MMU. It was EXACTLY what I was looking for. Not only for the education, but having the supportive community has been a game changer. MMU provides an amazing platform that allows you to learn on very specific topics by providing educational videos, tools and other resources that you can immediately apply to your clients. They have a phenomenal community that help you through complex cases so you're providing the best quality of care. I loved that I was able to take the course as a live cohort for Level 1 and then self-paced for Level 2. Being in Level 3, I was able to pick the topics of my choice that is specific to what I do in my practice. I choose advanced gut health protocols, advanced hormone protocols and metabolic resistance. Every page I read, I learn something new. It's literally mind blowing and makes me eager to want to learn more.

After completing Levels 1 and 2 and almost finishing level three, my practice has taken off to the next level almost overnight. I'm now able to help the people who in the past would have been "stuck". I have the tools, knowledge, supportive community and confidence with using comprehensive testing and customized protocols to help even the most complex cases. I tell my family and friends that this is one of THE BEST decisions I have ever made in my career to help my clients on a much deeper level which ultimately took my practice to the next level. I couldn't recommend this program enough!

This learning platform is user friendly. I started in a live cohort for my Level 1 which helped me to learn and ask questions in class. My level 2 I was able to navigate on my own. Information prepares you to work with clients and implement protocols.

The information is well presented and what I have learned has helped me improve my Hashimoto’s to where I’m almost completely off of prescription thyroid medication without lowering my calories. I haven’t felt this good in years. I’ve also been able to better serve my clients by being able to look at lab results and find underlying causes rather than guessing or relying on macros alone. The community is also very helpful because I can ask questions and get feedback from my instructors as well. They offer live trainings that gives better information on topics that are trending. I can’t recommend it enough.

I completed the Level One Functional Health Coaching Certification through Metabolic Mentor University and was extremely impressed by the depth and quality of the education.

As a physical therapist, I initially sought advanced training to better understand inflammation and how to support my patients beyond musculoskeletal care. What I found was far more comprehensive than expected. The curriculum is detailed and physiology-driven. It is not surface-level information. As a health coach, I was looking for a program that would not just teach me soft coaching skills but the deeper knowledge on the body's systems and how to help clients get to the root. I looked at several functional programs before deciding on MMU. By far, MMU was the best investment I could have made in my coaching business. MMU didn't just give me the education I was looking for in terms of nutrition, medical knowledge and application, but I found a community. Having access to weekly case studies with practitioners really helped me as I was applying what I was learning to my clients. There is ongoing continuing education and I have now joined 2 apprenticeships at MMU to further my knowledge.
