tried to book a coach journey from Liverpool to Fareham in Hampshire and back, MERSEYTRAVEL are agents for National Express the firm I wanted to use, have done the same journey many times, the staff at your Queens Square Office did not have a clue how to do it,they are only good for giving out dayrider tickets, NOT IMPRESSED.

Seeing multiple buses on one route following each other with a 30 minute interval shows me exactly how they work

Ripped off on saveaway. Bought it on metro card for next day for air show. Tried to use it and it declined. Why would I buy a train saveaway at 17:38 at the train station for a train that day and walk away from the train station? Rip off merchants. Oh. 3 rammed carriages because they removed one train. Disgusting. Buses for me in future.

SANDRA AT MERSEYTRAVEL

My friend and I went in the St Helens Merseytravel shop today (Tuesday 10 March 2020} and we were served by Sandra. Sandra normally works in the Liverpool shop. We were asking about when my friend was going to receive his replacement bus pass. Sandra asked for relevant information then checked on the computer and told us what was happening. Sandra then cancelled the order and went to reprint the bus pass and said when the replacement one arrives in the post to cut it up. Nothing was too much trouble and Sandra had time for us, I hope Sandra will be commended for her outstanding customer service which was exemplary. A highly valued member of Merseytravel. Thank you Sandra from two very satisfied customers (Julie and Paul).

We paid £45 for a family ticket, 1 adult and 1 concession ticket. However, apart from the 25 minute video we were extremely disappointed with our visit. Although we were informed before entering that the simulator ride was not working, we were not told that 90% of the other interactive attractions were not working including:

4 player interactive quiz would not start
Pump handle rocket did not move
"The Wall" shadow game worked randomly and intermittently but not as advertised
The hand controlled game at the end of the exhibition was stuck on pause

When reported to staff we were told that it has all been reported to head office but as they were closing on tuesday 31 dec, the decision has been made not to fix them.

Definitely not an experience worth £45.

Merseylink provide a service for elderly and disabled users, and provide a great service, my mother had used them for years without a problem.
When she became wheelchair bound she thought she would be safe and looked after, but the last trip she made the driver forgot to strap the wheelchair down correctly, when he took a corner my mother was thrown out of her wheelchair, the chair broke and my mother was badly injured. She refused to go on Merseylink ever again.
From that accident my mother was housebound, and her health got worse and worse, until she passed away.
Merseylink would not take responsibility and my mother could not face the stress and upset of taking legal action at her age.
If you use the service, make sure you have someone with you, and that wheelchairs are strapped down correctly.
