SCAM
I am also here to say that this is a scam. The dress I ordered is absolute junk. It is not linen as advertised (95% polyester 5% elastane). They're in the midst of trying to deny me a refund. There should be legal ramifications for companies that operate like this.
I would give Mercer and Bloom ZERO STARS if I could. The clothing you receive looks nothing like what is advertised and they post multiple confusing and contradictory policies.
Stay well away! Would give zero if possible. Item arrived, cheap material and size not as described. The worse thing is the convoluted way to return, you have to email and then you are expected to take video or photo….please do not purchase from them, not as described!
Edit: they have just got back expecting me to return with huge shipping costs or to take a partial refund of 15% clearly this is their business model, they send out substandard clothing knowing you will want to return but knowing you won’t pay the increased shipping costs so keeping 85% of the sale - a very nasty way to do business - please avoid at all costs and report to trading standards!
Dare una stella é troppo per la qualità della merce che mi è arrivata, nonostante la gentilezza delle risposte alle mie rimostranze, sono stata liquidata con un rimborso minimo rispetto all’importo pagato. Non lo consiglio assolutamente!
Mucho cuidado con Mercer & Bloom, es una auténtica estafa. Compré un vestido basándome en las fotos , y lo que me ha llegado es un trozo de tela transparente, mal cosido y de pésima calidad que no se parece en nada a lo publicitado. Al reclamar, el servicio de atención al cliente admite el problema pero se niega a cumplir con la ley de consumo, pretendiendo que pague yo ellos gastos de devolución internacional o que me conforme con un ridículo reembolso del 25%.
Es una vergüenza que intenten desgastar al cliente para que asuma los costes de su engaño. Ya he cortado comunicación con ellos y he tramitado la reclamación por fraude directamente con mi banco para recuperar el 100% de mi dinero, además de poner la denuncia en Consumo. No tiréis vuestro dinero aquí, lo que venden es pura basura. ¡Huid!
Poor quality, not as advertised, long wait for delivery. Very unhelpful response when trying to get refund. Refund policy incredibly "anti customer". Not a company I would EVER trust! Such a disappointment.

It described the skirt as linen but it was an awful synthetic material.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!! It’s a scam. I ordered a dress and received a see-through piece of fabric that can’t be worn. It is absolutely nothing like what was described on the website. It’s really something you simply cannot wear.
Scammed - SUCH POOR QUALITY! Do not buy the women’s minimalist loose shimmering V-neck maxi party dress, the quality is similar to fancydress clothes you buy at the $2 shop. Such below standard quality for a dress advertised as costing $357 but discounted to $129 AUD… what on earth are they thinking charging such highway robbery prices !? It looks cheap and nasty. You’d never wear it, the damn thing looks like a sack, nothing like it appears online!!
I sent an email to the company to ask to return it directly to them to inspect the quality they put their business name to and to also ask for a refund but they said it wasn’t possible because I bought it on sale. M&B suggested I send it back to China and that I’d incur the costs (fair enough) and they said they couldn’t promise me anything, eg: it might get lost in transit and to expect possible delays - it’s more like, til someone (me) gives up chasing it is what i think they really meant.
I will give Mercer & Bloom credit for their prompt customer service and answering questions via email which I had regarding expected delivery time, and that I was unhappy with the quality but the after care is a disappointment.
I regret leaving a negative review but this one needs to be posted.
The item was ordered on 26th April and arrived on Fri 15th May, with no communication as to where the order was or when it would arrive. I assumed I would never get it after reading the reviews.
The item has arrived and it looks like something from Shein, only the dress was £61!! It doesn't look like the item in the photograph and is terrible quality. Do not buy!!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! I ordered 3 dressed from them, all were incredibly cheap quality and looked nothing like the pictures, fabric was very thin and the stitching was terrible--it was like a 7th grade home ec project. Started the return request, they said because I bought during a sale, all sales were final--which yes is listed in their return policy thats buried deep on their main page, but the item page only listed the guaranteed 30 day return policy. When I pointed this out, they agreed to refund me 25% to keep the items, I said no, I want to retun them for a full refund but then they said Ok, well you have to pay for the return shipping and we've had a lot of packages get lost in transit so if we don't get it back, you don't get your refund. So I took the 25% back and threw the items away, because I'm not going to pay MORE money to only have them refuse to refund me because the items get "lost." Worst return process and worst online purchase I ever made. BTW, I can't find anywhere on their site to leave a review there, which should have been my first clue, I guess
I ordered a dress from this company intentionally in two different sizes to test fit, however they sent me two of the same size. On top of that, the dress was incredibly disappointing. The material was thin, cheap, and almost see-through. The dresses looked nothing like the quality advertised online, and the fit was completely inconsistent and unflattering. They simply did not work for my body type at all.
What made the experience even worse was the return process. Customer service was exhausting to deal with. They requested endless photos and documentation just to start the return, only to ultimately refuse to provide a proper refund. It felt intentionally difficult and incredibly frustrating.
Now I’m stuck with two dresses I will never wear and a terrible customer service experience to match. I will absolutely never shop with this company again, and I would strongly caution others before ordering from them.
