Mella's Jungle Anmeldelser

I've ordered several times from here as I have a wreath making/kit business. It's so important to have great quality moss and it doesn't disappoint. Always my go to.

Great product and customer service

Quality moss and great service. Thanks again Mella.

Been hunting for a good sphagnum moss seller after buying some somewhere else and getting some other type of moss entirely. Saw Mella's and it looked good and at a reasonable price so ordered 2 kgs.
Moss arrived and at first sight through the bag it looked good, but when I opened it and started to use it I was very dissappointed. Now being a natural product and wild havested, not greenhouse grown, I expected some debris such as leaves, twigs or some other mosses. I have bought moss before where this was the case and I am perfectly happy with that and it was easy to pick out without much waste.
This moss however was riddled with sharp, decaying pine needles. It was not like there where a few here and there or only the moss from lower down had them in, they where throughout it. To be fair there were a couple of handfuls where there were maybe only 20-30 needles bit the rest I spent hours picking them out of the make it usable, and also safe to handle without being spiked all the time. I have not finished picking through and have filled to the brim a 5x5x6" square pot. I have also had to throw out quite a large amount as the needles are so embedded I just cannot spend the time removing them.
If this is how the product is going to be shipped then the seller should have a warning that it may contain pine needles, although for quite a bit of what I received it might be better worded as may contain traces of sphagnum.
On a plus side the moss, once the needles are removed, is nice quality, healthy looking and growing well but its just let down by the debris.

First time ordering from here and really pleased and would buy from them again. Sphagnum moss is great quality.

Just received my 2nd order from Mella's Jungle and I know there will be many more ahead of me. I grow 90% of my collection in Leca and Moss, Mella's pink spagnum moss is amazing and I'm very happy to have found this shop.

You did fine; your stuff is always good quality. Royal Mail, not so much! You sent it on Monday on their "aim for next working day" service, and it's now "due to be delivered" today... Thursday.
I wouldn't mind as 24h seems quite unreasonable an expectation to me anyway, but you've presumably paid for that, and it's live moss after all.

Next day delivery £8, I’ve been waiting for the parcel for a week.

Great product with fast delivery.

Great customer service and amazing product.

Great moss and a great price. Isn’t much more to say. Was dispatched quickly and arrived quickly. Could probably do with double bagging it for postage as Royal Mail ripped my bag open with how they handle things but overall good product.

Excellent service, amazing products and fast speedy delivery.

Very happy with my order, the pink moss is stunning and it was processed and delivered super quick as well! Not to mention she was lovely to speak with, very friendly & helpful! An honest and fair wholesaler too! Would highly recommend 🤗💚 thank you!

Great moss, great communication

Quality moss , ordered with ease & understanding from a team in the Jungle that have always been happy to help for quite a few years now.
Our wall baskets & troughs are doing well too …..
All good news - an A1 supplier.

I used to buy their sphagnum moss on eBay, but noticed the price had gone up since my last order—likely due to recent eBay changes affecting sellers. I did a quick Google search of the seller’s name and was happy to find their own website, where the moss was still available at the great prices I was used to.

I use this moss for carnivorous plants, isopods, and bonsai work. It’s consistently high quality, with very little foreign material—just the occasional tiny twig or pine needle, which only confirms it’s freshly harvested. It’s well-sieved, clean, and doesn’t affect the weight or usability in any way.

Great product, great service—I’ll definitely be back! Thanks again.

Absolutely amazing plants. Lovely and healthy at a reasonable price that’s affordable. Top class service. I will be back again soon

Not my first time ordering from mella's jungle. And definitely won't be the last. Was using a so called high quality moss from a popular plant website. And every time I would spend half my life picking out the pine needles. Sure this is benifical to acidic loving plants. But I also have isopds that don't like pine needles. If you want quality soft fluffy long strands of moss. This is the place. I've not tried anything but spagnum at the moment but will be trying the other varieties when I make another order. 10/10 thank you guys

It was a bag of sphagnum moss. I did wonder about the sustainability and where it had been sourced from (considering the time of year and the sellers location) but didnt query it with the seller.
It was delivered quickly and as described

Product is fine but underweight. Should be 10kg but less due to postage. Be honest and say 9.5kg etc then your customer wouldn't think they were getting short changed!
