The help and quick response when I had a problem. I checked the wrong box for classes to upload in NH & MA...it was fixed within a very short timeframe and they kept me updated during the process!!!

I’ve been dealing with an ongoing issue for over a month regarding my completed coursework being sent to the state. McKissock claims they’ve submitted it, but the state says otherwise. There seems to be a complete breakdown in communication, with no effort to resolve the issue by simply picking up the phone and ensuring internal systems are updated.

To make matters worse, customer service has been unhelpful—Kyle C. and other representatives have even hung up on me when I requested to speak with a supervisor. While the courses are affordable, it’s frustrating when they aren’t properly submitted to the state, causing unnecessary delays. I wouldn’t recommend this school unless they improve their process and customer service

Customer service is great. To get in touch with an instructor is not easy. Not much help available to ask question. A help desk would be nice

Mckissock was a "one-stop shop" for exam prep and required classes to obtain my license.

The material and ease of use is very good. The 4 star rating is a result of my preference for the class instructor to respond to questions on the material. This is very important for new and upcoming trainees.

The classes will not prepare you for test taking. It is a MASSIVE amount of information. You take tests a keep on moving forward with education requirements, but when it comes the time to actually take the state tests, you are on your own. They don't even offer a practice test. Oh, and forget about getting any of your money back, even if they do NOT specify that for state testing, you are on your own.

When I signed up for unlimited membership and payment was taken from me, I was unable to access any courses without having to reach out to customer service. This added step on my part should not have been taken, especially because I have been a member for the past 2 years in good standing.

In the 15 hour USPAP there is no practice test at the end of the 12 chapters. When you go to take the actual test most questions are not even from the quizes and worded differently which makes it even harder. If you fail the test there is no review or any way of finding out how many you got wrong.

I was billed multiple times for the same basic products. I could not get customer service to issue a refund. Very frustrating. Here's what I was billed:

Explanation of courses and could ask question virtually.

I fell for the membership scam which I was led to believe was for 2 years at approximately $450. Turns out, now they tell me it was a 2 year commitment at $450 per year, so twice what I thought I would pay. Total scam. I also was completely mislead by the customer service rep on a phone call so it appears this is a company practice. STAY AWAY. There are far better options out there for a fair price.

Highly Recommend for Appraiser Certification

Overall, McKissock provided all the tools I needed to succeed, and I highly recommend their courses for anyone looking to pass their appraiser certification exam!

The live online instructor course was amazing!
I also found the online self-paced course to be well put together with the colorful videos that I could pause and replay.
I’m currently taking the online version for another state through scholarship with a different school, and the online version is literally just all reading. There are no colorful photos, videos or anything. I didn’t know that before I chose that option. It’s been rough.

The course was easy to follow and provided a thorough review of the topics. One reccommendation would be to format the pop-out attachments as .pdf to eliminate the distortion that happens when trying to print the current files.

I have been a consumer of McKissock Appraisal Courses for more than twenty years. I find the online training experience to be convenient because I can take the courses at my own pace. The courses are composed by expert, talented individuals.

I have used this company for several years for my Real Estate continuing education, the offer good packages that are worth the price, Set up is extremely simple

I like the narrated courses best becaus I dont have to struggle with long periods of reading on my phone. Content is relevant. Format is clear and easy to understand. I have had minimal technical issues.
