I would rate this zero stars if I could. I ordered and it said 20 mins wait, fine. Then the time kept getting pushed back. On the map it said the driver was 1 minute away then abruptly the order was cancelled. So I have no food and an angry teenager.
Very disappointed with McDelivery
Very disappointed with McDelivery. I placed an order for my brother and me, scheduled for around 11:45 PM, since it was supposed to be our dinner for the night. We waited, only to find out that the order had been canceled.
What makes it worse is that the only compensation offered was a 20% discount voucher. Honestly, that's not much consolation when your dinner never arrives, and it's already late at night with fewer food options available.
I understand that issues can happen, but canceling a scheduled order at the last minute is frustrating and inconvenient. If an order can't be fulfilled, customers should be notified much earlier and compensated more appropriately for the inconvenience.
Not the experience I expected, especially from a major chain like McDonald's.

Absolutely disgusting and seems to be a scam and trend for the most expensive item of the order to go missing ! And then to be bounced between so called uber and McDonald’s customer service who both refer you to each other and no one taking responsibility for the theft and overcharging you have encountered. Biggest scam they have had running for ages !!! No ability to request a refund as neither assumes responsibility

Missing Burgers and a Pathetic Refund
I ordered McDonald's via the app and waited about 50 minutes to come. It was a Saturday so understandable. When it came the 2x burger meals ordered were missing. These were a Double big Tasty and a Double cheeseburger. Both burgers combined worth £12.38 totalled ordered on the app separately. Contacted via Uber Eats and spoke to a representative who refunded me £6.27. I contested this with the specialist team which upheld this. I paid £36. For 2x chips, share box chicken and a happy meal. Absolutely disappointed. If i was in the restaurant I would got my proper meal.
Food was cold except the chicken and no straws came for the drinks too. One positive was the sauce wasn't forgotten.
NEVER USE THE MCDELIVERY APP EVER!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! i ordered my food and the driver delivered it to the wrong door and i put my address as clear as DAY! i tried seeking for help but no refund, driver blocked my number, the app is USELESS only good for when ur in the mcdonalds store itselfs otherwise don't order food on this app! Will be receiving a chargeback.
Is this against consumer law?
I ordered and bought from McDonalds. They got Uber to deliver it. Items missing and I am made to deal with uber chat who can only offer a refund for the missing items and that can take up to 15 days!
According to citizens advice ‘ Under UK consumer law, when you buy goods from a store (or online) to be delivered, the retailer is legally responsible for the items until they are physically in your possession. If items are missing from your delivery, you have a contract with the retailer, not the courier, making it the retailer's duty to fix the issue.’

This is disgraceful service when we have paid for the item
McDonald’s also need to take some responsibility for missing items as well has Uber

Poor customer service
This evening I ordered a meal for my son which was delivered by uber.
The delivery time kept getting pushed back and when I contacted them they fobbed my off and told me I need to contact mcdelivery which I did on the app. The chat was not helpful and would not let me upload my receipt to prove that my food was delived almost an hour after it was cooked. It was cold an inedible.
The next day after I emailed mcdonalds customer service, they sent me a food voucher which still doesn't cover the cost of my original meal but I do appreciate the gesture

Ordered delivery from McDonald's through there mc delivery. The delivery time kept changing so I contacted door dash support. They said they were waiting for a driver. I ended up canceling my more because I had to wait over 3hrs for delivery. This was my first time ordering for delivery, never again. Bad first time experience.
DONT USE McDELIVERY- Appalling Experience
I ordered a McDonalds from Anniesland and they had an issue getting it delivered , swapping it to Milngavie. The driver that did accept it , went to pic k up the food and was told to close the Order as they could not fulfil the order as it had been delivered. Which was inaccurate . To close the order they took a photograph of their bag and said the food had been delivered . I immediately called the driver as the order was closed and I didn’t have any food. They told me what had happened and said i should complain. I called uber eats and complained and asked for a refund. They responded that the behaviours on this order did not qualify me for a refund. I asked them what they meant by this . No answer. I asked for an address so I could formally complain , they said they didn’t have one. I then complained to McDonalds thinking they would help. They pointed me back to Uber. They took my money and did not deliver food. They falsified delivering the food also. I won’t be dealing with either company again.

Disgusting service from both uber and McDonald’s and total waste of money. Will be avoiding both from now on
Awful experience
Awful experience. Food arrived over an hour late, cold and inedible. McDonald’s blamed Uber Eats and Uber Eats explained that waiting over an hour for hot food to be delivered is perfectly acceptable. Won’t be ordering from anyone using Uber Eats again and won’t bother with McDonalds either. Appalling experience.

Oh my God if there was a minor star review I would take this… Every time I fall for this stupid delivery surface and they get it wrong… They always miss a part of your order off and surprise surprise never have a port of court to communicate this error so stop there with missing items off your order and out of pocket… Never use this service ever again
Poor delivery
I live 5 mins from McDonald's and yet somehow my order took an hour to arrive, when it did arrive it was all cold and my drink had spilled so had no drink which I had paid for. Mcdonalds have since refused a refund.

Horrible Service - Missing Items, Wrong Order and No Resolution
I paid £17.67 for a McDelivery and got a completely messed-up order. I ordered a Double Sausage & Egg McMuffin, latte, pancakes, and an Egg McMuffin (no cheese). They only sent the McMuffin and pancakes. The latte and Egg McMuffin were missing, and instead I got 4 hash browns and a Coke—stuff I didn’t even want.
This is unacceptable. How hard is it to pack the right items? I want a refund for the missing food and for McDonald’s/Uber Eats to fix this mess.
