Maximum Adventure were terrific. We had chosen to walk the Hadrian's Wall Path and having struggled to get replies from individual accommodations, we decided to try using a company. Max Adventure were able to make some bespoke 'tweaks' to the published itinerary to suit our request. They booked all of the accommodations, arranged taxis for those times when the overnight stop wasn't directly on the path (or a sensible distance from it) and transferred our main luggage from place to place. They were quick and efficient and the whole trip worked like clockwork. We had a fantastic walk that was totally stress free. I would definitely go to them first for future walking trips.

I completed the 3 peak challenge which i booked through Maximum Adventure. The entire experience was great from start to finish. The booking went smoothly, the hotel was lovely. There were local guides for each challenge and they were really professional. The bus drivers were really friendly and they made sure they got to the destination on time. The guides were excellent and were encouraging. I was very happy with Maximum Adventure.

We had a brilliant time walking Hadrians Wall over 6 days on a trek organised by Maximum Adventure. the accommodation was excellent every night and the bag transfer worked very smoothly.

This was my first yorkshire three peaks and I would highly recommend booking with maximum adventure who took all the stress away from me…..From the very start of booking it updating me with advice and help throughout on hand if any questions needed answers all the way to helping me complete my challenge on the day with our guides Phil and Derek….who were super…..thanks again guys….

I had a fantastic experience climbing Snowdon with Maximum Adventures. We took the Pyg track up and Llanberis Path down. The local knowledge of our guide was excellent as we were able to avoid busy car parks and take a short bus to the start of the track. From start to finish our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel comfortable and confident on the mountain. He set a great pace, shared interesting information about the area, and was always attentive to the group's needs.
The whole day was well organised and enjoyable. Reaching the summit was an amazing achievement, and our guide played a big part in making it such a memorable experience.
I would highly recommend this guided tour to anyone looking to explore Snowdon, whether you're an experienced hiker or doing it for the first time.

I did the Yorkshire Three Peaks with maximum adventure as my guide. They were excellent. Training guidance is best heeded, nutrition advice is best heeded and then they will guide you up and down three times over. Thoroughly recommend them as an organisation.

We tried to plan our West Highland Way hike ourself, but we had to give up because we could not find accommodation everywhere along the way, which was due to our lack of knowledge of the area and the smaller accommodation options such as B&B. Therefore, we reached out to Maximum Adventure and used them to plan our 5 days on West Highland Way. From the very beginning they exceeded our expectations in our contact with them and adapting the trip to our wishes. We ended up with a very well organized trip and the one time during our hike where we experienced an issue on a Sunday they were available and got it fixed. We can highly recommend Maximum Adventure and the service and will definitely use them for another trip in the UK.

Maximum Adventure did a fantastic job coordinating my hike on the West Highland Way! The lodgings were all good or really good, and the baggage transfer worked without a single issue. Communication leading up to the hike was also exceptional.

I returned yesterday from the HWH hike that was orgenized by Maximum Adventure. Everything ran like clockwork, the hotels were excellent, the breakfasts were very good, the distances between the stops were planned perfectly, the equipment arrived on time, and in short — everything was top-notch.

We spent 6 wonderful days walking on the Northumberland Way. The Maximum Adventures team selected our accommodation for each night. We stayed in some beautiful hotels and guest houses. Warkworth Hotel was amazing and had great food. The staff were fantastic and really helpful. The Old Rectory was also a lovely place to stay and only a few miles from Alnwick if you fancy a quick visit. Bamburgh was also awesome. We ate at the Potted Lobster and that was a real highlight. The walk was comfortable very little elevation and most days were around 13 to 15 miles max. Holy Island was also definitely worth a visit. We walked across the mud on the way to the island and then on the causeway on the way back.
The booking process was very well managed for us. We booked our own evening meals but most the places we were staying offered food. Our bags were collected each day and were always there for us when we arrived in the evening. Thoroughly recommend Maximum Adventures!

I had a great time completing LEJOG, it was a great route and MA did a really good job sorting the accommodation along the route and were responsive to any queries or issues I had; so all I had to do was pedal!

We decided to go for an organised trip both for the logistics and the benefit of having a guide, and boy I'm glad we did! Max Adventure did a great job of getting 12 of us up and down the country in a timely fashion, and without losing any of us!

The information and comms leading up to the trip was very good. Lists were provided and they were very responsive to follow up questions. A nice touch was a call from our guide in the week leading up to it to ensure we were all squared away. A word on our guide. Russ was outstanding. Knowledgeable with a great sense of humour but also enough drive to get 12 of us up 3 tough mountains. He made the whole thing challenging but fun.

All in all a very tough but worthwhile experience.

We booked a WHW track in 2025 but we had to defer it a year. MA was fantastic about staying in touch and making logistical plans for our trip. They booked great accommodations, communicated actively, and helped solve one minor problem that I caused myself. The trip and the experience with MA exceeded our expectations. They also made sure we had glorious Scottish weather. ; ) Definitely recommend them 10/10.

We had an amazing time doing the Three peak challenge and Russ our mountain guide was great. He saw the whole team up all the mountains, managing challenging conditions with a sense of humour, support, and tenacity. Many thanks to the whole Maximum Adventure team for making this a great but challenging fun experience.

Feel like I have post adventure blues as I truly had a brilliant time on the 3 Peaks challenge.
Beautiful mountains, fantastic guide, comradery within the team, smooth transfers, accommodation - everything was perfect; but the sense of achievement is outstanding!
Even with my ankles still aching I'm eyeing up my next trip with Maximum Adventures!

We had to change our itinerary from one hike to another and Maximum Adventure were great about accommodating us. We enjoyed 3 days on the Cleveland Way with excellent accommodation along the way. The luggage transfers worked well. They even managed to add in a final taxi for 7 of us to get back to the start of the walk - very much appreciated. Thank you.

Maximum Adventure booked our accommodations and transported our luggage for our self-guided tour of the Cotswolds Way. The luggage transport was great, the accommodations were terrible. I understand this is not a luxury tour company, but many of the inns and BnBs were truly awful. I would never recommend this travel company nor would I ever use them again.
