Huge Scam. Not worth your time & money
Recently I purchased two pairs of glasses (prescription lenses) for $320. I placed my order on Nov 15 2022 and did not receive a confirmation email until a week later. Then after 3 weeks I reached out to see why there's no update on tracking information. I was told that the glasses were still in processing and that they should ship out in an additional 7 days. I told them to just cancel my order since I'll be leaving on a trip and have found a brick and mortar store that could have a pair ready for me much sooner. Once I stated that I needed a refund I was ghosted. No responses to emails, I was on hold with customer service for 2+ hours, the live chat (suspiciously and conveniently) crashed at that exact moment.
I contacted my bank and filed a dispute. Now that I have my money back I feel much better but they kept me on my toes the entire time. Consistently pushing the delivery date back and making all kinds of excuses. I wish I would have read reviews and had done more research before ordering. I was just so excited because they had a pair of Kate Spade glasses that were the exact same as my original pair.
Don't trust them. It's not worth it. Apparently the quality of lenses they provide (if you do ever get your glasses) is dodgy as well. I hope they get what's coming. Karma has no deadline 👍

One star is too many
Marvel Optics has a nice looking and easy to use website, but in my experience the only thing they actually do is charge your credit card. I placed my order, and 60 days later I have Nothing from them. No glasses, no explanation. Their customer service is unresponsive, maybe nonexistent.
Get your glasses somewhere else.

I compared many different online optics places for the best price. I ordered from MarvelOptics but forgot to check their reviews. I was very nervous I had just wasted $300 since so many reviews were very bad. My order took a couple weeks and the glasses are great! Zero issues. A+
Avoid this company
Long delivery, +60 days, poor quality, my glasses came without transition I ordered, below average return policy, never full price for a return, and they claimed I didn’t send all the parts back so I wasn’t qualified for a refund. This is either a scam or the poorest run company I have ever seen. Please don’t make the mistake I made. I’m out 300$. Never again.

I have contacted my bank to reverse charges after notifying them that I would do so if I did not hear from them within 48 hours.

They take your money and never deliver the merchandise. No response to emails. Phone number on the website is never answered, messages left on the voicemail are never replied to. Business hours on their website are irrelevant as the phone is never answered

i ordered a 398.00 pair of glasses on 08/22/22. they charged my card and when i check the order status the glasses have been sent out to the lab ever since . no e-mail response and the one time my call was answered i got the excuse that my glasses were ready to ship but could only be shipped in the next batch. i dont even know what that means. this is the biggest scam. i feel i would have better results if i would give my account # to the e-mail prince and claim my fortune. i wish there was a less than one star option

Goggles fell apart at highway speed. Returns department said "only complete items can be returned". $60 screwing is what I got.

They sent my glasses with wrong prescription. They said they would review my reasons and see if I qualify for a return. Horrible, horrible customer service. They don't answer the phone and they will not respond to an email. Their website is sluggish when trying to go through the return process. Horrible company! Horrible company!

the worst customer service ever.. ive been waiting 6 weeks for my glasses..i call.... e-mail... chat assistant. but nothing. im contacting the better business bureau as wall as the states attorney general. its not about the money.. bad its the principle now. im thinking ill never get my glasses. good thing i can protest this with my bank.
Zero customer support
Zero customer support, but I did receive my prescription safety glasses in about 5-6 weeks. If you have a problem, good luck getting ahold of someone lol. I'd use them again though
So…..I finally got my glasses
So…..I finally got my glasses. Took 2 months. Very frustrated with the communication. They ONLY way to talk to them is via their chat. I had left many voicemails and many emails. No response. I ordered after I read the reviews. Guess that is my mistake. Would never had ordered if I had read the reviews on them. They did end up giving me a 20% discount for waiting so long. I was very worried that when I did get them that they would not be quality. I was also worried about their return policy. 100% satisfaction they say. But read the fine print. They will only give you a 50% refund if you don’t like them. Or a 75% refund towards another order. Doesn’t sound like a 100% satisfaction guarantee to me. But on the bright side, after waiting 2 months I did end up receiving them. And I was pleasantly surprised. They fit well. The prescription was spot on. And they seem to be of good quality. So in closing. If you want a good inexpensive pair of glasses, this is your place. But don’t expect good customer service a quick turn around or good communication. You definitely won’t get that. And the next time I will order somewhere else.

It showed up on my credit card immediately though. I decided to be patient, for a few weeks already. Then I logged in and it still shows my order as being "at the lab". I have made several attempts to contact them for a more cohesive update on the status of my order. They do not respond to anything. Their website takes forever to load each page, and sometimes never loads it. Even if they were still on Dial-Up it shouldn't take five minutes to load the front page. It doesn't matter if I am on my PC or iPad, the same problem. This is the worst experience I have ever encountered. I've already paid for the glasses both with the credit card and by paying the balance of my card already. I guess I just lost all that money. How are these people still in business? If you have no intention of filling orders, then do not take any new orders.

Just my experience but I've ordered 3 pairs from them. First order took a few weeks which is fine. Ended up braking those pair by sitting on them so I ordered two the second time. They arrived in same time frame a couple of weeks. Everything was correct. This was a year ago so all the complaints now I'm not sure about maybe something changed.

Thieves. Ordered 2 pairs of glasses. Didn't arrive for several months, and the prescriptions were wrong in both. Sent them back for a refund months ago. Nothing. Bunch of scam artists. Do not buy anything from them.

I want to start by saying that the quality of the prescription safety glasses I received is fantastic. No complaints...
However, this company never once communicated with me at all. No order confirmation. No order updates. No response to emails, phones messages, online chats. ZERO communication at all. I sent over 10 emails, called over 2 dozen times, left 7 voicemails. After nearly a month with no updates/communication/responses to communication attempts I asked my credit card company to reverse the charges. Two days later I receive my glasses.

I ordered prescription glasses over ten days ago. I have emailed with absolutely zero response. I never got a confirmation email for my order. And when I called their customer service desk, I was INFORMED that I wouldn’t receive my glasses for another 3+ weeks…
When I ordered my glasses, it clearly stated 3-5 business days, and I would receive my order. The CSR proceeded to argue with me about what I SAW, on their website! This is not a good way to drum up repeat business.
I could have gone to Walmart and got glasses if I wanted this sort of treatment. Completely unacceptable. I want what I paid for!!! Completely unprofessional and rude. I will NOT be a repeat customer…
