Marelia is an international brand that ships worldwide. The UK phone number and London correspondence address are provided, as noted in our footer, for administrative and customer-service contact — we've never described ourselves as a UK-based retailer or stated that orders ship domestically. Our fulfilment and returns process, including the fact that returns are sent to our international warehouse, is set out in full in our Refund Policy, which is linked both in the footer and at checkout so it can be read before any order is placed.

On delivery, you're right that occasional delays can happen, and we're sorry yours arrived later than hoped — we always aim to deliver ahead of the stated timeline, and we genuinely appreciate your kind words about our customer-service team.

Regarding a resolution, our team offered you a 50% refund to keep the items, a full refund upon return and inspection, and — as we do for every customer — the option to choose alternative pieces from our store instead. We try to give as much flexibility as possible so each customer can pick the solution that suits them best. Every case is reviewed individually, and outcomes can differ depending on the specific circumstances, which is why responses you've seen elsewhere may not mirror your own.

Hi Nicole, thank you for this honest feedback - we're genuinely sorry the chemise didn't live up to what you saw on the site, and we take a review like this seriously.

We want you to know your comments have gone further than this reply: we've raised the fabric quality, stitching and sizing of this style directly with our manufacturer, and this piece won't be restocked until it meets the standard our photos promise. Reviews like yours are exactly how we catch where a product falls short, and we're grateful you took the time, even though we'd much rather have earned five stars.

Thank you for being honest with us - this one's hard to read, but you're right to call it out.

The pieces you received came from an external supplier we were trialling in our early days, and that's where the mixed labelling and the quality you describe came from. It's genuinely not the standard we want our name on - and it's exactly why we've since moved all production in-house, with our own materials and our own labels. What we ship today is a different product entirely.

None of that fixes your order, though, so I'd like to. Drop us an email at contact@marelia.co and I'll arrange a full refund - no need to send anything back. And if you're ever willing to give the new line a try, I'll personally make sure you get something you love.

Nous vous avons déjà remboursée intégralement : ce que vous avez reçu n'était tout simplement pas acceptable, et il était normal de le corriger sans attendre.

1. Response times: We responded to each of your emails within a couple of hours during our working hours (Mon-Fri 10:00-16:00 GMT), which are clearly stated on our website. Every message you sent received a prompt reply.

2. Sizing: Each of our products includes a detailed size chart with exact measurements on the product page. These measurements are provided specifically so customers can make an informed decision before purchasing, as sizing can vary between styles. We shipped exactly what was ordered.

3. Returns policy: Our returns policy, available on our website and at checkout, clearly states that return postage is at the customer's cost. This applies to sizing-related returns. We offered you multiple options to resolve this, including a 50% partial refund with no return required.

4. Reviews: All of our reviews are auto-published - we do not filter or conceal negative feedback. You can see both positive and negative reviews on our platforms. This claim is simply not accurate.

Throughout this process, we have been nothing but respectful and professional, offering multiple generous solutions - despite being spoken down to and demanded to operate outside of our clearly stated policies.

At some point, a business has to draw the line. Nevertheless, we have issued you a full refund for the two items in question. Based on this experience, we genuinely think you'd be better off shopping elsewhere.
