Do not buy gold bars from Malabar. Here's why: the purchase price (market price) quoted is higher than the reality of most every other exchange AND they charge for the "certification" of your purchase. In short, the price of gold has risen $200 an ounce since my purchase and the extra costs have still yet to be fully covered. That's just not fair...but part of this is on me as I didn't do the math. With this review, you don't have to.

We got jewels and was too good, The salesperson Sumathi was very friendly and helped us a lot to check prices and negotiate also she helped us.

I visited Malabar in Leicester recently and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We were served by Shivani, who did not smile or engage with us and did not ask if we needed anything. The service felt unfriendly and inattentive, which affected our overall experience. I hope this feedback helps improve customer service in the future.

It was my first time experience, I found it very good designs and variety of patterns , also I noticed the quality is very good, and very good service by Akshay, thank you for giving me wonderful experience

Manzoor, has made it so easy for us to choose an item from the vast variety. So much choice . Not sure if all the jewellery shops are little pricey now a days. All the sales teams was pleasant. Worth visiting.

I visited the Malabar Gold & Diamonds showroom in Karimnagar, Telangana, to see a silver bracelet.
Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
When I politely asked one of the staff members to show me a bracelet, they responded rudely.
Instead of helping, they said they don’t have time right now.
Such behaviour is not acceptable from a reputed brand like Malabar.
Customers visit with respect and trust, expecting good service in return.
I felt disrespected and completely ignored by the staff.
This kind of unprofessional attitude gives a very poor impression of the showroom.
I request the management to look into this matter seriously and take appropriate action.
Every customer deserves to be treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of the situation...?

Awful experience. Do not purchase anything online from them. Cancelled order and was promised refund within 7 to 10 days almost 3 weeks ago. They haven't been responding to emails.

Worst experience I have ever had with Malabar Gold in Qatar.
This is one of the most disappointing jewellery shops I have dealt with. I feel like they are literally cheating customers.

I had enrolled in their gold scheme last year and paid up to the 5th instalment. After the scheme ended, I went to purchase jewellery using the gold I had in my account, which was 10.33 grams.

I selected a 7-gram gold earring, and they told me the total amount. When I informed them that I wanted to use my gold scheme balance, they suddenly changed the price. The salesperson said the making charges for the earrings were 28%, plus other extra charges. Even after using the gold scheme balance, they asked me to pay 880 QAR extra.

I was shocked — I had 10.33 grams in my account, I purchased only 7 grams, yet they still demanded 880 QAR more. They also said the making charges are:

Bangles: 22%

Earrings: 28%

Diamond jewellery: 25–30%

I feel this is totally unfair and misleading. Customers should be clearly informed before joining the scheme. I will never recommend Malabar Gold to anyone.

Very pathetic customer service. Never visit their stores. There are far better options in every town

If I could give negative start I would give the least of it. True scammers! Never purchase anything online! Bhima has far better experience online rather Malabar! It’s shit. I placed an online order which was in stock on high price, when I tried to cancel they didn’t allow but told they would refund if the diff is more than 12k. It went to manufacturing request and they waited till offer on making charges were removed and charged me more money instead refunding the extra amount to me. Such a shitty experience. This is the last time I am buying anything from Malabar!

Worst they work with anti nationals

Third class brand. As long as you purchase from them, they will entertain you. If it’s an exchange, or return….you will have a bad time. Online purchases are worst!

Pls go to your local stores for a better experience rather than going to these brands which actually eat your money in the name of making charges, taxes, etc.
