Brilliant product
Brilliant product, purchased a new Jack wolfskin coat and Berghaus walking boots. Best prices on the market and great service. Package delayed by 1 day due to DPD but got update from MA Grigg Highly recommend this company and will use again.

Terrible company
Terrible company. Ruined Christmas for one relative! Ordered a pair of shoes from these jokers on 12th December. Complete no show after contacting them and being assured they would arrive in time for Christmas. Avoid at all costs.

I am so sorry to hear you have not received your delivery, it is never our intention for any of our customers to be left disappointed. Looking at your order & the tracking, I can see that it was picked, packed & shipped using our express service, & left us on the following day after ordering. The information we are provided by our chosen courier is that all orders will be delivered before Christmas, it is however extremely frustrating when this does not happen, not only for our customers, but us as a company too.

I ordered a pair of Hunter wellies for my Daughter's Christmas present. They were dispatched immediately but the courier failed to deliver. I emailed and after they had looked at the tracking another pair was sent which arrived two days later! Amazing customer service. Will definitely use this company again.

Currently battling with this company over returning some boots.
When we ordered, there was a choice of Dark Tan, Teak, and Choco. Those were the ONLY choices. My husband liked the Teak so that’s what we selected. Very easy order, prompt delivery but the boots were Cedar???? Hubby spoke to them, they insisted we’d chosen Cedar. So he said fine, can you order me some more over the phone now, in Teak - salesperson said sure, he chose Teak - lo and behold, the order goes through as Cedar. The salesperson apologised and said there is obviously a discrepancy with the colour codes but we could happily return for a refund (apparently no Teak in stock in the size we needed).
However, we have to pay to send them back. I emailed and said we shouldn’t be paying because the wrong colour was sent. You can guess what the emails from Griggs said - you ordered Cedar! Aaaggghhh. So emailed back to say no we didn’t, there is a problem with the colour coding, we’ve already spoken to your colleague etc etc….nope, they carry on insisting we ordered Cedar.
I tried to calmly explain that Cedar wasn’t even an option, so how could we have selected it???? I even sent 3 screenshots of the colour options on their website, non of which are Cedar I might add, and they came back with - that’s because Cedar is out of stock now. Omg. This is becoming like a scene from Fawlty Towers!!!! The arrogance from ‘Kim’ and ‘Sarah’ in the online team, inferring that there cannot possibly be a fault with their system. We must be plebs who do not know the difference between the words Teak & Cedar. I have literally never come across a customer service team like it.
I’ve had a response “You did in fact order the Cedar”. THERE WAS NO CEDAR OPTION!!!!!!!!

I have looked into your order, checked the product codes correspond with what is on our website, to what is on the actual product & unfortunately you did in fact order the Farsley in the cedar. The reason they are not available for you to see now is because the product is out of stock & is automatically disabled on the website, so we are unable to sell any more. I would be more than happy to exchange them for the teak for you & you certainly will not be charged for your return.

Terrible unprofessional service
I ordered an outdoor fire pit as a Christmas present at the end of November. I did not receive the item for two weeks therefore I contacted M A Grigg who proceeded to tell me that they were unable to get the product. The email was so unprofessional with exclamation marks everywhere, no apology, a very dismissive light hearted way of letting me down. They stated I would receive a refund which I still have not received. This was a week ago. Incredibly disappointed with this company.

I had never heard of this website before but they had a good price for some wellies I wanted. I ordered multiple sizes, returned an item and the refund was processed in good time. They do change for returns however. Otherwise great service and I would use them again.

Such a good experience
Bought a pair of boots there. They listed it half price compares to the official brand website.. I was a bit concerned but couldn’t miss this opportunity ! And I am so happy I gave it a go! Not only I paid half price but the service was excellent! I ordered and the next day it was shipped in a free priority shipping and received the day after that. Amazing pair of shoes! I recommend Maggrig!

I will not be using these guys again. I placed an order for an item, everything went through ok and I got my email confirmation. I then received an email a few days later saying that they had made a mistake, couldn’t fulfil the order and they were just processing a refund. I had waited for this order to go through so I could place an order for a matching item (which I received without an issue). I have now had to buy the same item I originally ordered at double the price so I had a matching set. Terrible service.

Pay no attention to these folks complaining about poor service and wrong items delivered. Even the giants of e-commerce make mistakes. And some people expect the world cos they’re spoilt.
I’ve had a great experience with magrigg and smaller organisations like these should be supported and treated with the respect they deserve.
I ordered on Friday, delivered on Sunday, at no extra cost! (London, UK). Maybe because my fixed abode is easy to find. My Hunter boots are genuine and in mint condition. Will certainly be buying again from this smaller business.

Do not use , customer service is unbelievably bad ! Items sent out , 2 were wrong sizes ( only ordered 3 items! ) , returned the wrong sized items and heard nothing . Finally got a reply and replacements allegedly sent out but went missing , sent out 24th and declared lost on the 28th , absolutely no chance ! Then one of the items was out of stock , finally I gave in and just got a refund . Complained but heard nothing!

Dreadful attitude to customer service
I have just come off the phone enquiring about delivery of an item. The woman I spoke to was unhelpful and dismissive. Sounded bored and disinterested. Very flippant. Once the item arrives (hopefully) I shall not be using them again.

However After looking into to you order & speaking to my colleague who I believe you spoke to you on Sunday, the upmost has been done to try & assist you. I do agree that your parcel being delivered by our chosen courier company to another address is extremely annoying, but my colleague has been working with them in trying to retrieve your parcel to get it redirected to you & an investigation has been opened.
