Beautiful watch and perfect size. I have smal wrist and the 37 Manhattan was just perfect

Love my watch. Very surprised to get an invoice for US$109 seven months later for import fees. Watch shape and thinness is a beauty. Would buy again but now will add the additional fee in when I am comparing brands.

Having read some of the negative reviews. Whilst I've not had experience with their customer care, I find most of the criticisms unjustified or unreasonable, at least compared to the rest of watch industry.

Getting a watch from a micro-brand is a risk but one that is unusual compensated either/or by value for money ,original design and individuality etc. Do your research on the brand.

Getting a watch from a major brand won't get your fixed or serviced any quicker, quite the reverse infact, six months is the usual wait and it will be costly.

The chinese are if you know where to go very advanced in watch making (with the exception of movements) and even the big swiss brands to source components as a cost cutting exercise) Swiss made only means up to 65% actual swiss components, whilst actual chinese watches, the good ones will use swiss or Japanese movement and the designs are usually homages or an acquired taste.Maen's movement are swiss and there is no way a chinese watch uses better ones. All microbrands will use chinese components and are often fully assembled (unless it says otherwise i.e swiss made like Maen), not doing so is just not a economic reality.

This was my first "big ticket" watch (as in, over $200 or so). I love it, and get tons of compliments on it. I got the MAEN 37 Manhattan in salmon M2.1.3 reference with the SW200-1 Sellita movement, and I couldn't be happier with it. The salmon dial means it matches my skin, so it goes with anything. I can dress it up in a suit, or wear it with casual jeans and a button-down. The dial really comes alive in the sunlight, and is where people notice it the most. I have a small collection of six watches now, but this is still the one I come back to the most.

I'm very happy with my MAEN watch. The quality is excellent, and you can really tell that a lot of attention has gone into the craftsmanship. The customer service was also outstanding – friendly, responsive, and very helpful throughout the entire process. I own two MAEN watches, a testament to their beautiful designs and quality finishing. They are beautiful to look at and I enjoy wearing them. I am a bit less enthusiastic about the movements. Twice, my Manhattan 37 Automatic stopped when there was a slight bump of my arm while wearing the watch. The process of returning the watch to manufacturer took more than a month each time. On top of this, the power reserve appears shorter than advertised. It often seems I am getting fewer than 12 hours (and certainly fewer than 18) on a wind. So there you have it: beautiful watches that would benefit from more durable movements.

The Manhattan 37 is a beautiful watch and a great value. This was my first Maen watch purchase, but based on looks, quality and price it will definitely not be my last. Very happy!

Montres à mon goût extrêmement réussies, équipe vivante proposant régulièrement (mais pas trop) de nouvelles formes et s'essayant à divers techniques.
La montre que je possède est de très bonne qualité et après plusieurs années (et un petit nettoyage du mécanisme de remontage auto du sw-200 qui l'anime) elle reste d'une régularité sans faille.
Un grand merci au personnel avec qui les échanges se passent au mieux!

I purchased the HUDSON GMT - M1.3.1 over a year. Took a week to get the watch after order it. This has to be one of my favorite watches. I haven’t had any issues with watch, it still works and looks great.

I have owned the MAEN Brooklyn 36 for about 2–3 years now, and I am still very happy with it. It wears incredibly well on the wrist, has a beautiful design, and matches virtually every style. For me, it is the perfect everyday watch, and I genuinely think MAEN makes some fantastic-looking timepieces.

Unfortunately, my experience with their customer service has been the complete opposite.

Within the first few months of owning the watch, I noticed condensation forming inside the crystal after rinsing it under the tap with some lukewarm water while cleaning it. Considering the watch’s advertised water resistance, I didn’t expect this to happen. I contacted MAEN’s customer service several times, asking whether this could be covered under warranty since the watch was only a few months old.

To my surprise and disappointment, I received no real support or willingness to help. The response essentially came down to it being my problem, and if I wanted the watch inspected for water damage, all costs would be my responsibility. I completely understand that this is not a dive watch, but for a watch that costs nearly €1,000, I think it’s reasonable to expect it to withstand being rinsed under a tap without moisture getting inside.

What disappointed me even more than the issue itself was the way it was handled. I expected at least some effort to investigate the problem or offer a reasonable solution, especially considering how new the watch was.

In the end, I left the watch with the crown pulled out for about a month, which allowed most of the condensation to disappear. However, the hands have since become slightly dull. Despite that, I still wear the watch regularly and genuinely enjoy it every time I put it on.

That’s exactly why this experience is so unfortunate. I really like MAEN’s designs, and I would love to own models like the Hudson or the Manhattan. However, because of my experience with their customer service, I simply don’t feel confident buying another watch from them. Instead, I’ll stick with larger, more established brands where I know I can rely on good after-sales support if something goes wrong.

Overall, I think MAEN makes beautiful watches with excellent design, comfort, and value for money. Sadly, their customer service has left me deeply disappointed, and that has prevented me from becoming a repeat customer.
