Warning!! Our last email to them after on the free trial they charged our card for 1 year!! We responded to them straight away and were messed around until a week later they told us NO REFUND!! This is the email we were forced to send to finally get a refund. Things should not have to get to this point to be able to get back what was never theirs.

We do not accept your decision to deny this refund, and we are writing to formally escalate this matter.
To be unambiguous about what occurred: payment was accidentally processed within the first few hours of a seven-day free trial. The moment this was identified, it was brought to your attention immediately. We had not evaluated the product. We had not made any decision to purchase. We had no intention of committing to an annual subscription at that point — that decision was expressly contingent on completing the trial period your own platform advertises.
This is not a case of buyer's remorse after considered use. This is a mistaken transaction made by a customer navigating unfamiliar software, during a trial period that exists precisely to allow evaluation before commitment.
Your refusal to remedy this is not commercially or legally defensible.
Under consumer protection principles recognised across multiple jurisdictions — including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the EU Consumer Rights Directive, and the UK Consumer Rights Act — consumers are entitled to protection against charges that do not reflect genuine informed consent. An accidental payment made within hours of commencing a free trial, with no meaningful use of the service, does not constitute informed consent to an annual subscription.
Furthermore, your billing practices are the subject of documented, widespread complaints. A review of your Trustpilot profile (rated 2.2/5 from 263 reviews) reveals a consistent and disturbing pattern: customers being charged unexpectedly during or immediately following free trials, refund requests being denied without legitimate basis, and deceptive or unclear upgrade flows that result in unintended annual charges. Worst App for ADs the will not delist your AD account and your credit card details if you cancel the trial and dont extend the subscription - This is board day light fraud. There is no support .. The app isnt useful

I signed up for a free trial to evaluate the platform, with no intention of committing to a high-tier subscription.

At the end of the trial, I was automatically charged $799 for a plan that was never clearly presented beforehand. The pricing is not transparently shown during the signup process (“see price inside the app”), which makes it very easy to be charged unexpectedly.

Most importantly, the product was not used at all, something the company can verify on their end.

I contacted support within a few days to request a refund, explaining the situation clearly. Despite this, the refund was denied based on their policy, with no consideration for the lack of usage or the unexpected nature of the charge.

After reading other reviews here, it seems this is a recurring issue affecting many users.

I would strongly advise others to be extremely careful when starting a trial and entering payment details.

Complete and utter scam. I didn't see the notification that my trial was ending. Within minutes of seeing that they had charged my credit card $460 I contacted support only to be told they sent me a notice therefore there was no way they would give me a refund.

I signed up for the 7-day free trial, which requires adding a credit card in order to activate it.

I cancelled the trial successfully. After that, I clicked another button in the account area (likely related to activating a subscription), and without any clear final confirmation window explicitly stating that €740 would be charged immediately, the full amount was deducted from my card instantly.

Since the card was already saved from the trial registration, the payment was processed immediately.

It is also not possible to fully remove the saved card details directly from the account interface, which increases the risk of unintended charges.

I cancelled immediately and did not use the paid service.

After more than three weeks of waiting, my refund request was denied.

Please be extremely careful when managing trial subscriptions and saved payment methods.

Website says it’s $99 a month after free trial.

They then attempted to charge me $250, luckily my bank flagged it and asked me if I authorized it.

Apart from that their ads weren’t anything special. Stuff you can do with grok.

Terrible service.

If you like your subscription being upgraded without any notifications, then this is the perfect piece of software for you.

Our subscription cost increased by $200 automatically due to “AI costs” and as spend but conveniently did not automatically downgrade after ad spend decreased.

When you ask them why, they say they want to keep billing standard to not confuse users. How ironic considering the reason for me reaching out to support was due to “billing confusion”.

This is a scam, I signed up for a free trial and even if I had proceeded it would’ve been for the lowest plan, they tried to charge me twice for almost £400! It felt strange especially as their agent on the online chat asked for the last four digits of my bank card to find the transaction but it appeared to be a legitimate company so I left it, the next day someone miles away from where I live tried to spend £800 at an Apple Store. Do not enter your bank details, I’m going to look into how I can report them

I was charged a significant amount of money for a tool that I did not use at all

The charge happened immediately after the trial ended, and I contacted the company the same day ( maybe the same hour). Despite explaining clearly that the platform had not been used in any way, the refund process dragged on for over a month.

Ultimately, they refused to issue a full refund and offered only a partial refund after a month-to-month discussion, even though there was no usage. Charging hundreds of dollars for a product that provided no value and no opportunity to evaluate it is extremely disappointing.

I could understand this outcome if I had used the platform or benefited from it in any way, but that was not the case here. After reading other reviews, it unfortunately feels like situations like this may be treated as a revenue opportunity rather than a customer experience issue.

This was a very bad experience, and I hope this review helps others be extremely cautious when using the tool.

Overhyped and overpriced. Madgicx looks smart but mostly tells you obvious things after the fact. Automation doesn’t really automate, insights feel generic, and results don’t justify the cost. Feels like a fancy dashboard you pay too much for.

I was charged by Madgicx even though I did not use their app or benefit from the service. I contacted support for a refund, but they kept asking me to wait in multiple emails. In the end, they refused the refund and called it their final decision. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience.

Started the seven day trial. I cancelled it. They still charged me $70. Within 24 hours their support was contacted asking for cancelation and the charge to be reversed. They told me their policy and, in effect, I can't get the money back. Never used any of their services even during the trial. There is no circumstance where they will refund.

As many others have outlined, this is a deceptive platform that will billed me $739 unknowingly for 100,000 units of "Madgicx Pro Monthly". Within 5 hours of this suspicious charge I reached out to customer support who need to review it with their billing team which can take 7-10 business days. This is unheard of with modern software platforms. I encourage anyone who has had a similar experience to dispute this payment with your bank, they may refund and it will make it harder for a company such as this to deceive users.

Do not use this platform, do not try the "free" trial period. I have been trying for months to get only a $21 refund, it is the principle, not necessarily the $21. This company is IMPOSSIBLE to get a response from, I was first told I would get a response via email within a week, never got an email. I was then told to open a ticket, I did, ticket #51669525, no response - nothing. When I went back into their horrible chat, I was just intructed to open another ticket. HIGHLY suggest avoiding this company!!!

I do not recommend installing them, they are scammers. They will withdraw money from your account and do not want to return the payment even after several requests. Do not get robbed. Moreover, the program does not fulfill its purpose at all.

Rip off was coaxed into working for madgicx on placing ads but had to keep paying out of my pocket to work for this unethical, immoral company that if you dont like working for them and quit they kept your money BEWARE they hope to get thousands out of you before you stop working for them and they keep your money!

This is a actually a scam I don’t know how this is still up.
Their ads lure you with free trial only to charge you for a whole year and have you forced to cancel your credit card because they refuse to refund anything or cancel your subscription and actually copy paste their answers to you from ai generated responses, worst experience, please stay away. There are apps that actually serve the purpose.
