Ash Vale Property Sale
After a slow start in April 2025 selling our property, we finally secured a buyer in November 2025. We did enlist a dual agent for the last few months, but our original agent pulled through in the end. We understand it was a challenging market in 2025 and Mckenzie Smith remained calm and professional at all times. We would not hesitate to recommend or use again if we move again. Our sale with Mckenzie Smith and purchase with another agent completed in around 11 weeks and communication was good throughout this period.

Dear Natalie,
Thank you very much for your kind words, and again, thank you for giving us the opportunity to go head-to-head with our key competitor. I’m most pleased that we came out on top!
We find that because they currently carry a large volume of stock (around 76 properties) and operate with a call centre filtering applicants, they can sometimes be less effective in a challenging market, whereas, the proactive, hands-on communication we provide really makes a difference.
We truly appreciate your trust in us and look forward to delivering the best possible result for you.
Kind regards,
Jason Bowden

Mackenzie Smith have amazed us with…
Mackenzie Smith have amazed us with their professionalism and persistence. They remained calm, patient and consistent throughout, especially once a buyer was found. We were particularly impressed with Nick who worked collaboratively with our solicitor to ensure that our long chain didn't collapse and that an exchange happened. He communicated with us throughout till the very end which was really reassuring. Thank you to the team for all your hard work, much appreciated.

Hi Sanaz,
Receiving reviews like yours are genuinely one of the most rewarding parts of our job. Thank you ever so much for your kind description of your experience with us in Ash Vale. It has indeed been a journey, to say the least and we are so pleased that we have successfully exchanged for you.
As we have always said, communication is key, and thankfully all the solicitors in the chain did respond to me directly towards the end, which helped the chain stay together!
All the best,

Great service
We first spoke with Jason who arranged the viewings and was our go to man for any questions, which to be honest, as first time buyers we had MANY.
He and Adam were very helpful in reassuring us on what we were doing, walked us through the process, and were overall great to work with.
Thank you!

Thank you very much for review, Jay. I hope you and Fatima are settling in well. It’s such a lovely house in a quiet, secluded location, yet within walking distance of everything and simply perfect for the dogs with the canal and Ash Ranges nearby.
I look forward to seeing you around the village. Perhaps we will bump into each other at the Swan!

Experienced sales team plus full time progressor
Communication was quick and accurate at all times, from initial engagement right through to completion. Having a full time sales progressor was a huge positive, with someone always available when the sales team were busy on appointments. Professional throughout, and the team kept calm when the sale got legally complicated. Best estate agency I've ever come across.

A great team in your corner
We cannot fault the Ash Vale team at Mackenzie Smith during our recent house sale. Even in a tricky market, they found us the right buyers for our property and constantly kept us in the loop with regards to the progress of our chain. Warm and personable, they were a pleasure to work with. Would highly recommend.

House Sale
We have just sold our house in Hook using the Mackenzie Smith Branch led by Mark Wilson.
I cannot speak highly enough of him and his team. He gave excellent and realistic advice on the market and therefore the value of the house and quickly assembled a range of potential buyers.
Having selected a buyer, he helped drive the process so that we were able to Exchange in quick order and with the minimum of fuss. Moreover he was always prepared to go the extra mile and was very quick at returning calls and actioning points.
For a process that is normally pretty hideous, he made this house sale remarkably pain free. Thank you!

Mackenzie Smith provided an outstanding service from start to finish. Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful, they made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Communication was clear and timely, and they always went the extra mile to make sure everything was handled efficiently.
A special mention goes to Steve Panther, whose great service really stood out. He was approachable, proactive, and incredibly supportive throughout, making a real difference to the experience.

We had a very bad experience with two other companies. We went onto Trust pilot to look at their reviews and they was extremely good.
So we decided to go with them, our agent was David Hill, very professional throughout, along with all the other guys in the office.
We found them to be completely honest and transparent.
We would highly recommend this company, thank you David for all of your help.

very attentive service tailored to the specific needs of the client
Simon has been very helpful with the sale of my property in Hook, particularly as I live abroad now. He kept me updated with progress at every turn and helped with jobs that I couldn't do myself. He checked on the property when the cold weather arrived for example and made sure the heating was working. Nothing was too much trouble.
Highly recommended
