On a recent trip to Glasgow, I wanted to gather more information about my late husband's family ties in Scotland. MacGregor and MacDuff was highly recommended by a couple I met on the train to Glasgow. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. I was introduced to a young lady who came armed with books to help track down some history for me and explained many things I did not know. She was able to show me the appropriate tartan, both ancient and modern, explain about the different mills that produce them, and never made me feel rushed. The experience with the staff at MacGregor and MacDuff was one of the many highlights of my visit to Scotland. You will be in good hands there.

Ordered late and understood quite reasonably that a bespoke product would expect to take 4-6 weeks. I wanted to wear the crest17 days after ordering - my fault so did not expect to receive it in time and was perfectly happy with that. The crests arrived just EIGHT days later, which includes time for delivery. Website very good. In the past I have always found personal advice by email or telephone quite excellent. You speak to real people!

Easy to order what I needed, came quickly, and the staff emailed to check when I needed it to make sure it would arrive in time. Bought cufflinks for my husband to wear for our wedding and he really liked them. Good quality and service.

Ordered a hand-stitched 8-yard kilt outfit that took about three months to complete. The staff was helpful in correcting my measurements when fitting and ordering online, and they were good at keeping me updated along the way. When it arrived, its fit, look, and quality were spectacular! If I had an heir, this would definitely become an heirloom. Expensive, but comparably so to other high-quality kilt makers, and totally worth it.

The order was shipped ahead of their estimated time which was great. The hand ties are nice. But the value for the money was unfortunately low. I think they were overpriced for strips of fabric and the shipping costs were super high. With the exchange, taxes/import fees, and shipping it came to $200 Canadian for two hand-fasting ties.

7 kilts hired for my wedding. Only one arrived fitting correctly causing much stress the day before the wedding ordering new kilts and having these all refitted.

From getting my wedding outfit 10yrs ago, to topping up on stores.... the company's always been very helpful... including a number of recent purchases, I can't fault the service and customer care... Thank you

Very good communication regarding a slightly delay in delivering my item. Their reason for delay being perfectly acceptable as per their explanation. The item when received was of Very good quality and well worth the extra week or so's wait.

Me and my partner travelled up to Manchester for one of their fitting sessions. Very smooth (and fun) experience. Communication was great in the run up to the outfit delivery.
