Worth the wait. After ordering a battery system we did have to wait some time before our DNO application was accepted. But once it was the wife and I were more than happy with the final product. Installation and savings have been great.

Totally recommend. After my recent experience I would definitely use LR Renewables again. Have already recommended to friends and family.

Faultless service. I ordered a battery to go with my solar panels. The installation was finished today within half a day, the work men were polite and tidy. The office explained everything to me in a language I could understand.

I didn't end up buying anything from these guys, but the advice and help I received was definitely worth a geed review. If you're looking for honest and knowledgeable people then these should be your go too.

My initial experience with LR very good. For some time had been looking at adding battery storage.

After researching a number of systems and suppliers I decided on a 14.4KW FOX system from LR. The system provided a good balance of capacity, features and cost.

LR were very helpful during the sales process, not pushy, and quick to respond to any questions and competitively priced and good reviews on Trustpilot. Based on prior experience with getting our solar installation I knew we would need DNO approval which L&R were happy to manage.

Based on all of this I went ahead and ordered the system at the end of June. I paid the deposit, provided the details needed from the DNO application. We were advised at the time the DNO applications were taking around 5 weeks, so left it with L&R.

This is where the experience became more disappointing. I provided all the needed for the DNO application and was advised it has been submitted, and that typically there came back after 5 weeks.

After 5 weeks I contacted L&R and was told that they hadn’t had anything back from the DNO, but someone would check what was happening and call me back. I never heard back.

2 weeks later I had another go, this time I contacted the DNO (UKPN) to find out what was happening, is very surprised to hear that they had no record of any application, the last application they had was from several years prior for the original solar installation.

Over the next few weeks I contact LR and the DNO multiple times and with some help from Luke at LR we had the DNO application approved, this was around 10 weeks after the original application. Between the delays in the DNO application and other issues we had the battery installed about 12 weeks after paying the deposit.
On the day of the installation everything was done very professionally and I am very happy with the end result.

Overall I would use LR again, while I know some of the delays were outside of their control there are areas where things could definitely have been improved (such as confirming/chasing receipt of the DNO application with UKPN) which would have provided a better client experience and would have significantly reduced the delays.

Initial contact was Liam, response time and information timely and informative.
Reasonable quote offered and site visit to check project was achievable as not straight forward.
Work scheduled shortly after.
Communication throughout good.
There were a couple of minor issues with the installation but these were remedied and compensated for.
I would recommend Liam and his team.

No pushy sales just helpful staff. I've had the plenty of sales guys to my house over the years offering all types of renewable products at ridiculous prices. LR gave me honest and reliable advice and an installation that has left me more then statisfied.

If only I got a battery system earlier. I had my battery system installed two weeks ago and so far seems to be my best investment to date. To think I was sending all my excess power back to the grid before my battery.

LR Renewables were great. Even though my initial installation was postponed by a week I still feel a 5 star review is justified. Two great youn chaos arrived one time and had everything installed and working by lunch time. Great job and will be ordering an extra battery soon!

I've had solar for over 8 years now and thought it was finally time for a battery system. Me and my other half spent weeks searching the market and finally decided to got with LR Renewbales.
They did a great job and we have been saving money ever since. Communication and installation were top notch. Have recommend to all our friends.

LR Renewables installed our home battery system two weeks ago and we are already seeing the benefits. Only two units of electricity used yesterday. Great service and great product.

Awaiting certification.
I had installation done on the third date after 2 non starts. All the guys were good and to be fare were working in atrocious weather. We had a small problem but that was more to do with the givenergy battery and its software. Now system up and running , all good, that nearly three months on we still have no certificates of electrical compliance or registration of the solar system. I can't sign up to any feed in tariffs which is feeding into the grid with no recompense. I was promised in April that it was an oversight and I would recieve my " welcome pack" the next week.
