We had an AC-coupled battery installed to work alongside our existing solar panels.

I boought a maintenance contract with these guys 8 months ago, every other company couldn’t get by solar working but these guys have managed to fix it.Really happy to have my solar working for all of this sunshine!

We approached L&R Renewables after getting a few overly aggressive sales pitches from national installers. L&R was completely transparent about what size system our roof could accommodate and what realistic winter output would look like. The installation was smooth, completed in a single day, and the team left the driveway spotless. Highly recommended if you want honest, straightforward service.

The quotation was competitive, the office kept us updated throughout, and the installation team completed everything in a single day.

They answered every question honestly and recommended a system that suited our usage rather than trying to oversell. The workmanship is first class and the installation looks incredibly neat.

We wanted to future-proof our home with battery storage and L&R Renewables guided us through every option.

Have rung L&R renewables 7 times today (Thursday 23rd. July) and cannot get any reply. I have left messages and no-one has replied. I have a maintenance contract with them but am unable to get a problem resolved. I have done business with them for several years and now cannot talk to anyone.

Communication was fantastic from beginning to end, and the installation was completed without any issues. Great aftercare too whenever we've had questions.

The installers were polite, knowledgeable and clearly took pride in their work. All cabling was neatly installed, everything was tested before they left and the handover was thorough.

Done scaffolding work for this company and have not been paid and have not been able to get hold of them since. Terrible communication and from our experience with their customers they were not too impressed with how they operate either. AVOID!!!!

Our system was installed quickly and with very little disruption. The team explained how the battery charges during off-peak tariffs and how to monitor performance through the app. It's reassuring to know support is only a phone call away if we need it.

L&R Renewables installed a Lux Power AC battery storage system alongside our existing solar panels. The installation was completed in a single day, all the paperwork was taken care of and the app was set up before the engineers left.

Sadly their aftersales is non existent. They installed a battery storage system less than 2 years ago and it's now showing battery failure. I've contacted them by phone and was told it was passed onto bookings, Then 2 days later I emailed them and no response.

Took out a maintenance plan with LR in 2025 on a system supplied by another company.
My Battery failed this year and LR has installed a compleat new system and it’s up and running great.
The engineers were polite, tidy and professional and did a great job.
A big thank you to Ben Wilson who was a great help throughout the experience.

Impossible to speak to over the phone, they ignore emails. They charged my elderly Mum thousands and won't even respond to emails.
I suspect their business model is to simply get as much money out of customers as they can. The kit they sold my Mum appears to be totally over the top for her needs.

EDIT: The irony is after trying to get in contact with LR Renewables to get the info I need for 4 months, I received a reply to my 1 star Trustpilot review in under 20 minutes!

Scott and Kieron installed my 9kWh battery system last week. Brilliant workmanship, polite and efficiant. The team in the office had great communication with booking us in and advising us on how to use the Lux Power app. Very happy with our experience thus far

We have had several issues with our battery installation since they were installed, and LR are not interested. One excuse after another, not answering their phone or replying to emails, and trying to force customers to pay for maintenance programmes to repair/replace items still under warranty. I’m still waiting to hear from you LR. Absolute disgrace, avoid!
