Lola’s began back in 2006 with a simple aim: to bake beautiful, fresh cakes every day. Starting as a small bakery, we quickly grew and went on to open flagship store in Selfridges and, today, we have over 30 locations in and around London!
Freshness has always been at the heart of what we do. We bake around the clock to ensure our customers receive the very best cupcakes and cakes for every occasion. A commitment that still defines who we are today.
We care deeply about the experience each customer has with Lola’s. From baking and decorating, to carefully loading orders onto our own fleet of dedicated drivers, every step is designed to make sure each delivery is as special as it should be. Nowadays I dont get confirmation email when it's ready for collection. However cakes or cupcakes are amazing as usual.

It is great to hear that your order was amazing as usual, and we are sorry for any confusions caused as a result of not receiving the email/text stating your order is ready for collection.
The collection email/text is no longer automatic and so you would only receive this, if the store has marked this as received on their end. I will pass this feedback onto the store directly to be reviewed with the team to ensure this process is followed through so we can provide better communication as to when your order is ready to be collected.
Please be assured that you can still collect your order within the times stated on your order confirmation email, in the instance that the 'ready to collect' email/text has not been received.

Cake was a lot smaller than I expected but nevertheless the taste was amazingly good. So moist and the cake wasn't sweet but icing was just the right amount of sugar. Delicious!!

She understood what I asked and explained fully to me about the cakes, brownies, etc. which met my needs offering exactly what I asked for!
Highly recommend this place, food is awesome and yummy.

Ordering and collection process was simple and quick. I ordered a carrot cake for my son’s birthday and it was the best carrot cake I have tasted. He loved it too.

Consistently good cakes
I've ordered 3 cakes from Lola's, all different for different people's birthdays. They've all been delicious, beautiful and well packaged. Definitely my go-to cake company now.

Delicious summery flavours in Eaton Mess cake, looked beautiful and everyone loved the fruity strawberry taste complemented with the fresh cream filling.

Red velvet cake for teens birthday
Good communication and cake was well packaged and easy to pick up. However, the cake was tiny so underwhelming and I wouldn't consider it value fir money.
I would rate the taste 6 -7 / 10 as was too sweet. The frosting unfortunately looked just like the cream cheese which was much nicer.

Thank you for taking the time to leave your review.
I am very sorry that the cakes were smaller than expected, we do list dimensions for all items we make on our website as we want customers to be able to visualise their orders.
In your order I can see all three cakes were buttercream iced cakes, sadly this option is a lot sweeter as it requires more sugar. The buttercream is used over cream cheese for the designs as it can be dyed as well as hold intricate piping required for the cakes.
In the future as you mention I would recommend more cream cheese iced items such as Red Velvet, Pistachio & Chocolate or the Fresh Berry.

Lemon cake .Poor in flavour
I have had cakes from Lolas in the past year and have been satisfied with the ordering process, the delivery and the quality of the sponge.
However we received a Lemon cake this weekend.Minus the Lemon.
No citrus flavour at all.
Quite disappointed.
Sweetness of the icing over powered the whole thing.
Such a shame.
