Obsługa była bardzo miła i wytłumaczyła wszystko jak należy. Najważniejsze w tym wszystkim jest to, że dotrzymali warunków umowy i nie doliczali żadnych dodatkowych ukrytych opłat.

Due to highway accident we were delayed to drop the car and missed our flight (who rescheduled us for free) but you’ll charged us a full day (even when i called beforehand to inform them)

The car didn’t have viper fluid and kept getting fogged up

Ho noleggiato l'auto per le due settimane di vacanze ad agosto. Auto praticamente nuova con pochissimi chilometri. Servizio cortese e preciso aggiunto alla comodità di essere già al centro di Roma, senza dover arrivare in stazione o aeroporto. Prezzo corretto. Consigliati.

Very disappointing experience with Locauto and Booking.com

We booked and paid for a Jeep Avenger through Booking.com, but when we arrived at the Locauto desk at Via Sardegna in Rome, we were told that no vehicle in the category we had reserved was available.

Our options were either to cancel at the last minute or accept a Fiat Panda, a significant downgrade. We specifically asked if the Panda was a new 2026 model and were told that it was. In reality, the car appeared to be around ten years old and had visible damage in several places.

Only by chance, another customer returned a Citroën C3 while we were there, which we were eventually given instead. Although better than the Panda, it was still a lower category than the Jeep Avenger we had booked and paid for.

The attitude of the employee at the Via Sardegna desk made the situation even worse, as he did not seem genuinely interested in helping us find an appropriate solution.

We simply cannot understand how Booking.com and Locauto can confirm reservations when the booked vehicle category is not available at the agreed collection time. They know when customers are arriving and what categories have been reserved. From a customer's perspective, this feels like overbooking.

What is equally disappointing is that, despite the downgrade, stress and considerable inconvenience, Booking.com has not refunded or compensated us at all.

After this experience, we feel extremely uncomfortable and insecure about ever booking a rental car again through the Booking.com–Locauto combination. A confirmed and prepaid reservation should give customers peace of mind — not leave them wondering what car, if any, will actually be waiting for them when they arrive.

Alquilé un coche para dos días. Me ofrecieron cobertura completa del seguro. Al ir a devolverlo en un semáforo me dieron por detrás. Aún así se han hecho cargo de todo. Todo perfecto. Muy recomendable

Returning the car was a great experience. The service was thoughtful and well organized: two parking spaces were already reserved and waiting for us, and an employee later transferred the car to another location.
