I have never participated in a class such as this so I didn't know what to expect. From the moment I entered their property and saw their lovely home, I knew I was in for an uncommonly good experience. My 1st impressions were correct and things only got better as the evening progressed. The welcoming and graciousness of Cristina and Valentina was only surpassed by their patience and willingness to teach. The food was delicious and the evening was very, very enjoyable. I would recommend them to anyone travelling to Rome.

It was a great experience to create pasta from flour. They were knowledgeable and patient. The dessert dish we made was better than the tiramisu that you can purchase in the store.

It was fun, educational, delicious and the girls were absolutely adorable! They were fun and explained everything about the culture. I really enjoyed all of it! Will definitely do it again! We went 9/25 and 9/27

Our tour guide, Ben, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, relaxed and fun. Really enjoyed meeting him and the places he took us. Great time!

Beni was a truly wonderful host. As we walked from one delicious stop to the next, she shared fascinating insights into the history and culture of the places we passed, adding so much depth to the experience. The tour went well beyond the advertised time, but never once did we feel rushed — it felt relaxed and perfectly paced. Each stop introduced us to a new and delightful dish (Roman style pizza con patate, squacquerone and suppli) , and the grand finale was the most splendid gelato I’ve ever tasted. Highly recommend this tour — Beni made it unforgettable!

We had a great time with Benny as we enjoyed the street food, the stories, and insight from Bennie. Bennie’s insight to Roman food and people was phenomenal.The evening ended with fantastic gelato.

Had a lovely evening with Jamila on our food tour .it was like having a lovely evening stroll with friends who are bringing you to the nicest places in town.

Benedetta was a fun, friendly and knowledgeable guide. It was wonderful to see pizza and gelato through her eyes. Her stories of the families of these businesses touched our hearts and allowed us to see the authenticity of italian cooking and culture. It was also great to share our own personal stories with each other. We feel like we made a new friend!

We had a wonderful private cooking class with Local Aromas and Chef Cristina. She welcomed my husband and me into her beautiful Italian home, where she makes her own olive oil from her very own olive trees. Cristina was warm, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, guiding us with patience as we learned to make two types of pasta and a delicious tiramisu. She treated us to complimentary Prosecco and snacks on her charming village terrace, which made the experience even more memorable. Booking was quick and easy, and Local Aromas tailored everything to fit our schedule and preferences. We highly recommend Local Aromas for an unforgettable and authentic Italian experience!

We reached out originally for a cooking class but changed our minds the more looked into the food tours simply because we had watched previous videos about how fantastic the street food is! On our first full day in Rome we had an early evening Street Food tour with Chiara. She is so engaging, knowledgeable and friendly! She truly made us feel like we knew her for years! The stops we made were local and authentic. Everyone in the restaurants were wonderful as well! We truly enjoyed a different part of Rome from the tourist spots yet were able to walk back to our hotel in the middle of Rome after the tour. The Local Aroma family is as lovely in person as they are on social media. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some time with them! Grazie Millie!!!

First and foremost, all three of us would like to give a "heartfelt" thank you for the wonderful experiences that we had with Local Aromas! All three tours that we shared with Local Aromas was more that we expected. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment shared with all involved.
Our first night in Rome, we share the "The 4 Roman Pastas Tasting Experience in Rome," with Chef Eric and Valeria. What a night we had! Eric taught us everything about the Carbonara and how to change the simple pasta into three other Roman Pastas. He also paired the pastas with 3 different types of wine that made our tastebuds sing. Eric was a sure pleasure to meet and we loved the banter that we shared with him. Having this Food Tour the first night in Rome, really prepared us the the rest of our vacation in Rome. Having the background of the pastas made our choices in dinners easy without any guessing as to what to expect. Eric was an amazing teacher and friend that we had in Rome.
The "Local Food Market Tour in Rome" was again, an unexpected surprise. Prior to the tour, one sister decided that we should have signed up for another Market tour, so I contacted Local Aromas for make the switch. After a discussion with Benny, we decided on sticking with the "Local Food Market Tour" and did not regret our choice. Jamila was our guide to instantly became a friend. She explained everything about the Food Market and the vendors their with such passion. She translated the conversations between the vendors and us with such a kind heart. The food that she chose for us are still unforgettable. We were also very excited when we saw food that she shared with us in our visit in Assisi. What a day that will always be in our memories.
Lastly, our "Olive Oil Tasting and Homemade Family Meal in Rome" was out of this world. To be invited to our Chef's home for a meal was unbelievable. After introductions, Benny gave a complete and fun tasting of different Olive Oils and how to use them. Benny was GREAT! We not only became friends with Benny but we became part of her family and she became part of our family instantly. The laughs that we had with her were not forced but sometimes uncontrollable. Then we had a spectacular dinner made and served by our Chef. What a night to remember. We had good wine, good food, good laughter, and good weather. There was nothing more that we could have asked for.
Our only regret was that we did not have more time to take more tours with Local Aromas. All three of us would recommend any tour offered by Local Aromas. The three tours that we had were spectacular and when we return to Italy, we plan on having more tours with them. Our thoughts before going to Rome was "we need to eat" so why not learn about the food culture of Rome while we were at it. We enjoyed every moment with Eric, Valeria, Jamila, Benny, and our Chef! All of them puts their hearts in sharing their love of Roman food and culture. And we can now say that we have Friends/Family in Rome.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and gelato tasting tour. Our guide was very fun friendly and seemed to truly be enjoying what she was doing. Would highly recommend you to any friends. The company and our tour guide were above professional and the tour let us taste some of Italy's best small restaurants food. We would highly recommend Local Aromas to anyone looking to have an amazing experience.

The aperitivo tour was a nice way to enjoy some Rome food and drink spots that we likely would not have found had we not taken the tour. I recommend this tour to anyone looking for just that!
