Car defects kept hidden
Car defects kept hidden. Car wiper washer has a serious defect which was was sold as " the washer fluid needs topping off and will be fine" which solved the issue temporarily but did not fix the issue which IS that the reservoir is leaking. The dash board error popped up as soon as i drove off from there. On the day of collection no effort was made to ensure the car was cleaned for delivery. The car roof had bird poop all over it.

Happy overall with car but some unresolved issues
Happy overall with car. However, was promised 3 things by sales guy:
- scratch to be touched up (wasn’t)
- additional key to be sourced ( on request) at trade price (hasn’t happened).
- cover for rear windscreen wiper to be sourced / fitted(wasn’t).
Sent email to him but had no reply hence 3 star rating . Happy to get sale but questionable after sales service!

I’ve looked into this and can see that you were advised an appointment with BMW may be required to properly resolve the “rear seat not locked” warning, and I’m sorry this wasn’t followed up more efficiently by our team. We were quite surprised by your comments, especially given the situation you’re referring to. You let us know that the locking wheel nut was missing, and in response, we arranged for your vehicle to be booked into a main dealer and covered the full cost of the removal — promptly and without any pushback.
To describe the car as “broken” after such a minor issue, which we resolved professionally and at our own expense, does feel very unfair. We always aim to go above and beyond for our customers, and in this case, we genuinely believe we handled things as well as anyone could have.

The sales person was very nice and went through the paperwork with me ,though it would have been impossible for me to fully comprehend every wording until I settle down to closely read and understand the agreement document.
I viewed the car for the first time when it was getting dark since the premises were closing and I was generally impressed by the appearance of the car. A couple of days down the line after I collected my car I realised that the base cover of the left front wing mirror was broken and missing.I come to realise this when the exposed hole was letting water accumulate after a car wash or rain. I had to immediately seek a replacement I sourced from online store.I would like to think that I should have been made aware of this when I collected my car since there was ample time between purchase and collecting my car.I also consider the service charge included during the period to be too high, however I am assured that this service charge covers all potential service or repair that my car might require during my loan period. I might need more clarification on to what extent this service covers and what repairs or replacement are included or excluded.Overall my experience was good since I found the car that I needed.

Lack of communication, didn’t honour our agreement, sent out a car with illegal tyres and to date haven’t paid for the tyres.

Bought car from LMC they promise me 3 months warranty ..when I received car car front tyre was just on legal limit so next day i thought i get couple of good tyres for my car so i went to tyre place & told him check alignment too ..tyre place people said they can’t do alignment as rod r seized so i told Lmc they refused to pay for it even as little as £220 ..dont believe anything they say i wouldn’t
I just seen their reply to my review so i m gonna add this
I never asked lmc to pay for new tyres.. stop lying..i didn’t even ask lmc to pay for anything.. i only txted the person sold me the car how they not know bout seized rod & told him its gonna cost me £220 ..warranty should cover this as it was second day of delivery of car & only driven to tyre place which was 1 mile from my house

I’d like to clarify a few points to ensure there’s no misunderstanding. We do not offer insurance with our vehicles — what was included with your purchase was a warranty, which your salesperson would have explained during the sale process.
You purchased a 7-year-old vehicle with 76,000 miles, and at the time of sale, the front tyres were legal but noted as an advisory on the MOT. This was clearly discussed with you in detail by your salesperson, and you agreed to proceed with the purchase knowing this.
Following delivery, you later requested we cover the cost of new tyres and alignment work. As this was not part of the agreement and the tyres met legal requirements at the point of sale, we respectfully declined to contribute further.
I do understand it’s frustrating when unexpected costs arise, but we believe we’ve acted fairly and transparently throughout the process. If you do have any additional concerns or wish to discuss the matter further, feel free to get in touch
No support, communication, help and constantly being ignored
We have had no support, communication or help with our car since purchase. Within a week our new car started showing warning signs on the dash, since then we have been back and forth to garages trying to sort the problems. LMC told us we were making a fuss about nothing and to just give it a run, we were then told it needed a software update. It turned out it needed a whole new gear box, not what you would expect from a car having only done 5000 miles. I have been trying to get a refund for 3 months and we are constantly ignored. I have not been contacted once since the gear box has been replaced. I have been appalled
By the service. I had to email copious amounts of times in order to even secure a courtesy car whilst this was going on.

The vehicle you purchased is a 2024 plate with only 5,000 miles, and is fully covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. After your initial concerns, we collected the vehicle from you and had it inspected — it was diagnosed as needing a software update, not a gearbox replacement as suggested.
To ensure a smooth and hassle-free process, we arranged for the work to be carried out at your nearest main dealer and even offered to cover the cost of a courtesy vehicle during this time. Every inconvenience has been fully supported and covered by us.

***PLEASE DONT TRUST LMC UPMINISTER**** - I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the purchase of a Kia Niro from LMC Upminster on 13th March 2025. Mr. Yusuf was the sales executive who assisted us.
During the sales process, we were assured that a Guard protective application and one year's servicing were included in the price. We specifically requested the car be cleaned and minor scratches removed before delivery, to which Mr. Yusuf agreed on 8th March 2025.
Furthermore, we enquired about the flexibility of using service centers other than LMC for the included service plan. Mr. Yusuf confirmed that we could choose any convenient location, specifically confirming Glyn Hopkin, Halfords, and Quick Fix as acceptable options.
However, upon contacting Mr. Yusuf to schedule the service, he informed me that it could only be performed at an LMC Garage. This contradicts his previous confirmation and limits my options for a convenient service location.
Additionally, upon collecting the vehicle, we found it had not been cleaned adequately as promised, with visible dust inside and the scratches remaining unaddressed. While the LMC team acknowledged this oversight and reduced the price by £20, the overall experience was disappointing, especially as I had paid the full amount in advance based on trust.
The invoice does not specify that the included service must be conducted at an LMC Garage. Therefore, I request that LMC honors the initial agreement and allows me to utilize the free service at Glyn Hopkin, which is more convenient for me.
I did not get any response from LMC for my email. Once payment made they wont really care so be careful with LMC before making payment

As part of our commitment to local customers, we included the service plan completely free of charge, with the clear understanding that it would be carried out at our own LMC service centre. This was explained during the sales process and is the reason we were able to offer the service at no cost.
To clarify — we have a fully equipped workshop on-site, and you’re located just over 10 miles away, which makes it convenient for both parties. The service can also be carried out while you wait, providing a quick and easy experience. Realistically, it wouldn’t make sense for us to give away a free service only to have it used at another garage when we have the facilities and team here to complete it to a high standard using Kia-approved parts.
We’re also more than happy to re-clean the vehicle and attend to any areas that may have been missed on collection. Just bring it back at a time that suits you, and our team will make sure it’s fully taken care of.
