Van insurance, I was on holiday and I went around the corner at hit some breeze blocks ,I had the van repaired quickly because I was on holidays and needed the van ,now lloyds are saying because I paid for the repair its tuff they will not contribute to the repair

I was looking for car insurance. Lloyds were just one of a list offering the same cover and price.
Just the fact I have a bank account with Lloyds. As a bank I dont rate them very highly as all they are looking for is profit, profit and more profit. Hence branches being closed all the time, using the excuse customers want to use the app. How many customers were asked that question. >/???>

Having been insured for Buildings and… Contents
Having been insured for Buildings and Contents with the Halifax for decades I was only made aware that there is a huge difference if you do not have ‘emergency’ cover when I had an emergency. My hot water cylinder leaked on Sunday morning, badly, and when I rang for assistance was told as you don’t have ‘emergency’ cover you can go whistle. I have now added emergency cover - which is like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. Paid an extortionate amount for an emergency plumber - thinking I had covering insurance - only to find my existing policies do not cover the cost of emergency trades. Wish I had been made aware in the preceding decades. I automatically renew my policies - so much for being a loyal customer. You don’t problem solve/find your policy documents in the thick of the house turning into a waterfall

Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear about the experience you had following the leak from your hot water cylinder and appreciate how stressful it must have been dealing with water entering your home.
We understand your disappointment regarding the emergency assistance element of cover. While emergency call-out services are only available if Home Emergency Cover has been added to the policy, if you've suffered damage to your home as a result of the leak, you may be covered under the Escape of Water section of your home insurance policy and can submit a claim for any insured damage caused.
If you haven't already done so, please get in touch with our claims team who will be happy to discuss your circumstances and explain what may be covered.

I asked for a call back and it happened within a minute I spoke to a nice lady which makes all the difference to me and we set it up over the phone my dog has only just turned two and my tesco insurance went up £20 . The Lloyd's insurance is a fair bit more expensive but there's a 5k more cover I've got a staff the latest of many over my lifetime my last two never needed a vet I don't mind paying for hopefully something I'll never need

I was waiting on my renewal price off my car insurance and got it through and was way to expensive so shopped around and my god found a awesome price from Lloyd's car insurance wow what a big difference so told my old insurance try and match Lloyd's but no were near so I was very happy with Lloyd's car insurance so thankyou very happy with what am saving with Lloyd's car insurance 😀
