We were in a difficult position trying to remortgage on a buy to let for our property in the UK but living and working in Peru and getting paid in dollars not sterling, with payslips in Spanish etc, plus having to put up with our five hour time difference. Working in Brunei made it nigh on impossible to secure a UK mortgage in the currency we earn, but Liquid Expat worked tirelessly to find a solution and make it happen.
