Michael from First Mortgage Stockport was extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of being able to buy my first flat. He explained everything in detail, and no question was a stupid question - which was great as I am a lone buyer so needed as much explaining to me as possible. Michael was always able to answer emails with any other questions I had and he replied to me quickly. The whole process with First Mortgage Stockport was pleasant and stress free and I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy their first place!

The team at First Mortgage made the whole process as smooth and straight forward as possible from the first phone call to the mortgage offer. As first time buyers we were clueless on the process but First Mortgage couldn't have been more helpful. We met with Sean, our mortgage advisor online. He explained the process really well, and got to know us, our circumstances and our requirements before starting anything. The service was completely free of charge for ourselves and the service we got was outstanding. Our financial income situation was slightly more complicated with benefits and disability payments etc, and we only have one part-time income, but Sean managed to secure us an AIP for a suitable amount with a trusted lender. The mortgage offer stage was slightly trickier due to external circumstances but Sean and Pauline were patient and advised us to ensure we were making the right choice for us. We got our mortgage offer through with a good rate. Despite the delays from the bank, the team were reassuring and explained everything clearly. We never felt out of the loop once. They also have given us some great advise on different types of insurance based on our specific circumstances, but no pressure to use their pool of insurers if we don't want to. If you want a flexible, understanding and reliable mortgage broker team, this is it! Highly recommend, and will definitly use again when our fixed rate term is up in 5 years.

We were delighted with the service provided by Karly at the Dundee branch. She took the time to go through all of our options, explaining them all, which was a great help in allowing us to choose the product that was best for us. We had to reschedule our original appointment at short notice and Karly was incredibly accommodating about this too. All in all we couldn't be happier with the service we received.
