Tell everyone it is great, and helpful. When account is created it is all good. after sometime, it's get terminated because of subscriber issue. If I have subscriber, I will not go through them. But false presentation of affiliate marketing.

​Horrendous experience. We had to sign up for 13 months which should have been the first alarm bell (who asks for that length of commitment?) and were completely let down. The 'launch' was a false start as our settings were wrong and our company wasnt visible, then our manager was uncontactable on long term sick leave with no replacement offered. When we queried being billed in full for these three months they threatened with a collection agency. Avoid!

Terrible. The company is abrupt with its replies, providing no explanations. Sites that use this company for their affiliate programs are cheating themselves of connecting with well-qualified affiliates.

The worst register form I've ever encountered. Spend so much time, reading 13,000 words of their legal text and it still does not allow to check the box for that. Such a waste of time.

This is probable the worst affiliate company out there.

Just Woke Up In Morning And my account locked for no reason bad company ever.

As with all other reviews. They randomly terminated my account, stating no reason other that they can terminate at any time on section 11 of the t&cs. I have not even used it yet.

Scam of a company woke up at 5am to a nasty email of termination. I didn't even use it yet.. I was just approved for a few companies and then boom woke up to that nasty termination email. Don't give them your personal information they are stealing information and that is all they are doing.

As with others account terminated for no reason. No reason at all given and trying to ask them gets you no reply.

There are plenty of other affiliate networks. I would look at one of them and if you can avoid Rakuten make sure you do as one day all your hard work will be for nothing

Compliance team members are mother f's who stole my money twice, I have been using it for 8 years , the reason for termination they told me was TM with biz name so I changed the url and migrated the site, after a couple of emails they now telling me to create new account, which makes no sense, if there was a problem with my site they should have terminated my account within days but why after so many years why now? also these bas*s don't mention the name in the email, you don't know who you are talking to, and support team tells you to ask help from compliance team, and this rabbit hole wheel goes round & round until you get frustrated, I have made money the white f*g money, it was no hack or crap or any illegal way. I don't recommend anyone who want to make money from LINKSHARE to use it as a publisher, because now my links are no longer working, my commission got stolen, my account got terminated with a silly dumb reason, even though i changed the whole site from branding to social media to accounts it was tough to do, but I did, because in the email that I can use as many they told me the conflict and the reason for termination is name which also is in URL but i changed it after that they are telling me to re register as new account, I don't want to do it because I'm not gonna get my commissions back, the advertisers back, I have to start from scratch. which is not easy, I wish to all who made this, or who did this, karma get's back to you.

Garbage company has no creativity
They don trust new advertisers at all.....

I'm from Ukraine and Rakuten terminated my account because "Rakuten Advertising is ceasing performance marketing and media placements in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus for at least the foreseeable future. We feel strongly that we should not facilitate business activity in this region at this tumultuous time and regret any impact this may have on your commercial opportunities."

So this company just put Ukraine on the same page with criminal states. Yeah, it's a tumultuous time, and instead of being of any help to a country that became a victim of the biggest war since WW2, Rakuten just terminated all the accounts and stole all the commissions earned. Nicely done, a piece of a garbage company.

They terminated my account, not a single policy was violated. But their policy includes "We may terminate your account without stating why", so there's nothing to do about it.

I contacted their support, and all they did was copy paste the original email, and when trying to connect with the live chat customer support, they told me they didn't have to tell me why and would not under any circumstance open my account again.

I have a successful life with affiliate partnerships with over 20+ direct relationships as well as with Commission Junction, Impact and Click Bank.
I mention this as i have never had anything get terminated.

This experience has been nothing short of abhorrent.

Affiliate with these guys if you want to waste time and money.

They terminated my account without giving any reason after two months. I had 1000+ GBP in my account invoiced and getting to be paid. These scammers took my commission and stopped replying to my emails.

I recommend everyone to stay away from Rakuten Advertising. They are big time scammers and a big lie.

They "terminated" our account with more than 300 active offers. This review is written because they stopped to reply to my e-mails and I have no other options how to reach them out.

Their first answer to my e-mail was:
"The reason why we terminated your account is because you failed to respond to inquiries from a member of our Network Quality Team."
Ok, I found the missed e-mail, replied to those questions (they were actually quite simple: about our traffic and promotional methods).

Their next question was:
"Thank you for writing back to us.
Please note that in our report we can see that there is one IP which is generating multiple clicks...In Rakuten Advertising Affiliate Network, we don't allow such type of traffic. So, we request you to investigate on your end and block the IP."
Of course, we replied to this at once (it was our server IP address - and then we asked for more details - what they mean), but, no answer since then.

We've been working through Awin, Admitad, CJ, Shareasale and many others affiliate networks for many years (we at "kashback com" has 5,000+ advertisers across the globe Booking com, Aliexpress, iHerb, etc.) but never met such attitude.

The subject of our correspondence was "Business Model Inquiry: 3178654 ...."

My platform is being currently developed, so the developer registered us with them to test it all and have it fully functional before launch. They terminated the account AFTER us providing ALL needed papers without ANY valid reason within a day. AVOID at all costs as time is money: low ethical and support standards. Besides, it looks as ID and corporate information SCAM. Should be banned.

We signed up for the GameStop affiliate program that is run by Rakuten Advertising. Their system is VERY BUGGY. We have to reset our passwords every time. The reporting doesn't work most of the time. When it does, it doesn't show any of the sales we tested through the program. Hoever, the very worst part of Rakuten Advertising is their horrible support. Over a week of cut and paste emails sent have not addressed or resolved the bugs in their system. When affiliate programs are notorious for not paying, we are pretty sure there there will be no support to get us paid when that fails too. Basically, the Rakuten Advertising program is the old dead LinkShare system that they bought and have no idea how to manage. AVOID Rakuten Advertising at all costs, you have been warned.

For no reason: "Your affiliate account in the Rakuten Advertising network has been terminated under Section 20"

Worst Affiliate Company, Don't Use It....Stay Away

This is probable the worst affiliate company out there.

Do not waste your time in this affiliate company.

Basically because they do not pay all your commissions.

1. Keep Affiliates Commissions and Don't Pay Them

I was told that I would receive my commission in my bank but never received it.

Later they blame my bank for this.

Then they say they will pay me next year....!?

Having a complicated set of rules they hold payments and never fully pays what shows on the affiliate dashboard screen.

Definitively they will give any reasons to not to pay you.

2. Their Affiliate Dashboard is old/outdated (90's style), slow and not useful

3. Affiliate Customer Service is Terrible

Their Customer Service is slow and unhelpful.

I've sent them a government issued ID twice and they claimed they never received it

One of their "Customer Service Supervisor" was not competent.

This Supervisor after stating that he read all about my case he didn't know what kind of payment method I have selected.

4. They do not provide you with their superior email or any other contact method

They refuse/ignore any request that is related to escalate your case to top management.

5. Even "Close account" option did not work.

I had to reach out to their customer support in order to close my account.

Avoid this "affiliate company" at any cost.

If you join them you probably will be disappointed.

Run away from them.

i signed up to be an affiliate, got approved by a bunch of companies then got an email from rakutan saying my account had been suspended and all that work was for nothing. and it was work going through the list and applying for each company seperately seriously? i hadn't even finished designing my website yet; what could i possibly have done to offed them? i guess i'm not the only one, so screw them.
