I ordered several light fixtures for a project on 3/26 and was told they would ship in 5-10 business days, that was 7-14 days ago. Each time a reach out to customer service they tell me they are almost ready to ship. I have stated multiple times that I want to cancel my order and a full refund. They have now stopped responding to all of my correspondence and their phone number is not working. I ordered replacement fixtures from another vendor Monday and have already received them.
A terrible mess.
Bad experience but order was fully refunded
Ordered some sconces on 3/6/26, is now 4/10/26 and I still do not have them. Said they would ship in “3-10 days” when I ordered them. No mention of stock or lead times on the site when you order. I don’t mind waiting a couple weeks and I understand things can happen with production, stock issues etc. but this is crazy. Customer service was vague and did not keep me updated on anything after I inquired a couple times. I ordered custom made pendant lights for my kitchen the same day I ordered these (elsewhere) and I got those over a week ago. I ended up buying some different sconces (elsewhere) that are already up, I’m not waiting over a month for some simple light fixtures. Why do they show as shipped on 3/27 but they have just been sitting in New Delhi India? I don’t even want or need them anymore…
UPDATE: They did reach out and give me a full refund for the order. I do appreciate that.
My light is beautiful and I love it
My light is beautiful and I love it! The delivery was fast and it arrived in great shape.
2 things that could have been better:
1. The screws that came with the light were just barely too short. My husband was able to make it work.
2. I would have loved to be able to see photos of my light in an actual room (and not AI generated) and with the light on and off. It was a fairly expensive purchase and given that if it didn't look right, I would have had to pay to send it back to India - It was kind of a risk, but I am glad I took it and it looks beautiful!

The light fixture is beautiful, seems to be good quality. It arrived relatively quickly as well. The only issue was the website stating it used standard bulbs, when it fact uses E12 which are slightly harder to find and more expensive. Still love the light and would get another one if I needed.
Never received and no refund
Ordered three fixtures for $627. Never received. Finally got in touch with shipping company (website claims FREE SHIPPING) who stated that the product has been destroyed because I didn’t pay the $26 shipping fee, which I knew nothing about. Contact by phone was a recorded message about not taking calls for weeks, but is now a busy signal. Have emailed too many times to count…no response. I have contacted the BBB and reported this company as an internet scam. Was shocked to read the reviews here that some people actually received their orders. Has been a nightmare for me (and my pocketbook).
Poor Craftsmanship and Low Quality
Both of my alabaster lights came with chipping at the bottom. I emailed customer service and they are dragging their feet to resolve the issue. I was told this is a natural feature of alabaster which is not true. We have multiple alabaster lights in our home and they do not have any chipping. It’s 100% a quality issue. I hope they can make it right but it’s already been a few days with no resolution.

I’ve made two separate orders for sconces. They all arrived extremely quickly and the finish is spot on. I am so in love. I’ll be ordering more lights for the rest of my house and have worked with their team to secure a designer discount. I highly recommend Light Cove.

The finish is very glossy and patchy on the edges of the disc connecting to the ceiling and the metal top of the light is a different finish to the cylinder

Wonderful experience. High quality products and fast delivery. I even placed 2 separate orders two days form each other. And they managed to combine this so it was delivered in one order. Utmost satisfied.
Beware of ACTUAL return practices!
Beware of the return practices. I am having to abbreviate this review due to character limits. My designer and I ordered a fixture in advance of placing a larger order. We received the fixture and did not like the finish. I contacted LightCove ("LC") 2 days after taking delivery (including an add'l $26 to DHL) to request approval to return. After getting no response after 5 days, I emailed back to request an update on the return request. LC notified me that the return was not approved as "each piece is handcrafted specifically for the customer, so we’re unable to restock or resell it." I replied with screenshots of their return policy, which states that they accept returns within 30 days of delivery if unopened/unused and the customer pays return shipping to India. I noted that the "Exceptions" section of their return policy stated, "Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases." The fixture in question is none of these things. I pointed out that nowhere on this website does it say that fixtures are custom (and thus subject to the exceptions section of their policy), nor is there any disclosure otherwise that fixtures cannot be returned. The policy implies that unless it falls into an exception, you can return (presumably for any reason) within 30 days. I was then told that because the fixture was made in the finish selected, and not damaged or defective, they could not approve a return, and sometimes return shipping is more than the original cost. Again, the website contains no statement that fixtures could not be returned unless damaged or defective. I suggested that I be allowed to decide if my cost to return the fixture was cost prohibitive; LC then requested photos of the fixture. We sent over photos the next day. A week later, I asked for status, and was again told that photos aside, it was not returnable as a "made to order" piece and high (unknown) shipping costs. At the end of the day, it did not matter that the website did not include any disclosure that fixtures were "custom" or had any other restrictions on returns, LC would not agree to a return for any reason. I explained that had I known in advance that their products cannot be returned except for defect/damage that I would not have ordered in the first place. I *will* say that LC was very polite in their responses, expressed a desire to solve the issue for both parties, and even offered a discounted price on a different finish. At that point, I was frustrated, having felt that the website did not accurately describe the actual policy on returns, which is disclosed to you only once you've made a purchase. Feeling defeated, I looked for other reviews and found this site where it looks like at least one other customer has had the same issue. I left my 1-star review as described above to at least make sure other customers did not have the same experience. LC contacted me (again, very politely) and explained how reviews impact their small brand when they are genuinely trying to find a good solution for everyone, and that did not want to end on a negative note, so they would make an exception in this case and allow for a full refund or replacement at no cost. While I appreciated this effort and their frustration, at this point I did not want to take any chances by ordering in another finish and still be unhappy and unable to return it. I thanked them and requested to return the fixture, and noted for them that I had gone ahead and removed the review as a courtesy to them. LC stated they would get back to me the following date (12/22) on how to return. On 1/3/26 LC emailed that because it was made to order and not defective, it could not be returned and offered a discount on another fixture. I stated they had already agreed to a return and to please advise on next steps. As of 1/12, and 2 follow-ups, no response. So I am again sharing my experience - zero chance to return it you don't like it. Their policy is what is is (even if not clear pre-purchase) and that is fine, but do not be frustrated when customers share their opinion and accurate experience $195 later, it will go in the trash, on Ebay or a garage sale. Lesson learned here.
