As per other reviews, I can confirm that these are not hand drawn artworks. They are most certainly scanned into photoshop and a filter applied. I feel disappointed in myself that I went through with my order as I wanted to give it as a gift.....but no chance of that after seeing it.

PS. Please don't patronise me by replying to me that it was hand drawn when it is so obviously not.

Edit: After Letterfest's reply on here asking me to email them so that they could "look into it further", I did email them with my details. I received one email response which basically said "we assure you it was hand drawn" but nothing more. I have replied to this, asking for a refund and I would post the item back to them and guess what......radio silence ever since! What a surprise.

I had an excellent experience with this company. I ordered a Daddy & me line portrait as a gift, I quickly received a proof. I requested a couple of changes and received a prompt response and a new proof. When my package arrived the glass was shattered. I emailed the company and received a response back from Lily within 20 minutes apologizing and assuring me they would replace my order. I was honestly shocked (and so appreciative) at how quickly I received a response and how easy it was to get the replacement. Incredible customer service. My replacement order just arrived in perfect condition and I know this will br a treasured gift.

I ordered a framed illustration as a christening gift and it was great. A really personal present, produced to a really high quality. Highly recommend.

I never write reviews but I felt the need to let others know what a brilliant service Letterfest offer. Very friendly team with exceptional customer service. Very responsive. The turnaround time for my order surpassed my expectations. Highly recommend. I know I will definitely be ordering from Letterfest again.

We were.searching for a 70th Birthday present for a member of our family who happens to enjoy sailing in his boat and saw letterfest pictures that can have a picture of his boat made into a watercolour, framed and personalised, posted direct to him.
The picture had another boat moored behind, and a person on that second boat removed.
There is an option to make notes to do this.
We could choose a frame and size.
The recipient was really overjoyed with it and it now has pride of place on their wall.
It was a brilliant 1st purchase from letter fest, but not the last.
Definitely recommend to anyone wishing to find that special gift.

Still waiting to resolve an order from way before Xmas, communication is just all over the place, proofs apparently sent to you but no idea where, certainly not in email. Each time I chase for an update I’m sent a link with proofs from days/weeks before that I’ve never seen and I’ve asked specifically to send proofs on email as no idea where else they are being sent to. Seriously consider other businesses as this is painful to get what you ordered, on the artwork side I have eventually received a satisfactory proof but it’s taken over a month, and had to be done by a senior artist so things that weren’t even on the original image could be removed! Will make a lovely Christmas present at the end of January!!

Really happy with the service! I unfortunately got sent the wrong item they resent it and it was incorrect again they were so apologetic and resent very fast which was then the correct item and was perfect!

My order was placed before Christmas within the timescales for it to be delivered before Christmas however my item wasn't dropped off with the courier until Christmas eve (pm) so wouldn't arrive in time.
When Royal Mail then tried to deliver we were away visiting family without the gift we'd ordered (had to purchase an emergency gift). I rescheduled delivery but Royal Mail ignored this and left outside and it wasn't there when we returned home.
It's now been over a week and despite multiple emails I have not received a resolution. I have therefore requested a refund but no one is getting back to me. Extremely poor customer service.

I was completely out of unique gift ideas for my mother in law (I have been married to her son for 31 years). I came across letterfest and saw that they could create a watercolor of her home. She absolutely loves it. And, to top it off, b/c she had Covid, we didn’t spend Christmas with her. I asked letterfest if they could send me a picture of final result as I couldn’t see it, and they quickly did. Five stars.

I received one of these ‘hand drawn’ house images as a Christmas present. I have a background in graphic design and there is absolutely no way what I have received was done by hand. It is quite obviously a photoshop filter applied to a photograph of my house. I follow a great number of actual artists who do this for a living and make beautiful pieces of work and I am only disappointed that the family member who gave me this didn’t realise that there are companies like yours who have attempted to cheaply replicate these excellent pieces of work en masse and continue to charge the prices you would expect for actual decent work. But judging by the reviews you are still managing to fool the ‘average’ customer who doesn’t realise what they’re looking at.

Ordered a pot for my dads grave, when it arrived it looked a bit different to what I’d seen on the website, I emailed them and they made another and posted it out quickly with no problems whatsoever.

I ordered a personalised book that, when it arrived, the wording was slightly wrong. I emailed immediately and had a reply from Kirsty. She couldn’t have been more helpful and when I explained what had happened, agreed with me. The book was reprinted correctly and I still got it in time for my granddaughters first Christmas!! The book is fab and the customer service is outstanding. Thank you! 🩷

Blown away by the illustrations, super fast delivery, even when ordering just days before Christmas.

I am over the moon with my illustration! I can recommend this company, very helpful and an excellent service! they made sure I recieved it in time for Christmas as it was a present.

I placed an order in plenty of time for it to arrive for Christmas and paid $13 for shipping which should have been plenty to use a good service. Instead, the company must have been running behind and did not notify me of this fact. I would have canceled the order and ordered another gift for my relatives for Christmas. Instead there is no gift for them on Christmas when the family is gathered. Be cautious about using this company if you want clear communications about status and timing.

Unfortunately the item I ordered as a gift (engraved terracotta pot) arrived broken. Although not the company's fault, they immediately responded and sent a replacement item. Great service and good responsive communication from Marie, many thanks.

I ordered a terracota pot that was sent in a cardboard box with no bubble wrap just a sheet of brown paper for protection. It is no surprise the pot arrived cracked in the post. I emailed twice and they told that it is normal for terracotta to crack. They make the customer feel stupid. How can I gift this for xmas? It is cracked!

I emailed to complain and they failed to help, over three emails went back and forth - did not even get an apology.

I ordered a pet pebble with paw print in a gift box. It was really underwhelming and the gift box was cheap and battered. I gave 2 stars because it was done really quick and shipped with days otherwise it really wasn’t worth any stars. I actually feel ripped off. Avoid.

Second review

Please will the Directors - Mr Reader, Mr Knight or Mr Baldwin reply to my email as the service you are providing is substandard. The first image was awful so I had to pay 15 pound for it to be redone and the second was even worse.
As I mention in my previous review - you must realise with the amount of bad reviews you are getting you have a problem.
If you think that the image you supplied to me is good enough to sell for the price I paid. Put it on your website and social media as an example of the work you do … are you that confident in the products you are selling ? I doubt it.

These guys are amazing. Cutest books ever!!!!?
