I have been a customer of Letshost for many years now and over that time have had to interact with them on both technical and administrative queries. In all instances they have been nothing but courteous, extremely helpful, insightful and have always and without fail addressed and resolved my issue to my complete satisfaction.
As a small web designer I insist the my clients setup their own hosting account and I always recommend Letshost as their option (I am not in any affiliate program!) because of the reasons mentioned above.
I know that if there is any issue it will be dealt with and resolved in a very timely manner..sometimes I wonder if they sleep at all!!!

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. The following is a factual account of just two bad exeriences I had with Letshost.ie.

- BAD EXPERIENCE NUMBER 1:
I started using them for hosting service back in 2005. At the start they were very good and always went out of their way to advise and help me. I gave them a huge amount of business by registering and re-registering yearly dozens of domain names with them and then buying hosting services for each of my web sites. However, after a couple of years their service got worse and worse. The servers my web sites were hosted on would go offline and they would not know about it even though I was paying them a monthly fee for a server monitoring service.

Letshost.ie told me if any of my web sites went down or offline, they would know about it straightaway and they would get the issue fixed so I decided to avail of their extra service.

For 18 months I was paying them a monthly fee for server monitoring service but despite this, my web sites would go offline and they never knew anything about it. I had to contact them to let them know and then they would resolve the problem. Oh, the problem was never caused by their systems, it was always some other third party software provider or something else that caused the problem. Regardless of what or who caused the problem, the fact that they never knew my web sites were down annoyed me because for 18 months I was paying them for a server monitoring service which they clearly never provided. In the end, the way they dealt with the issue was to claim that I never had any server monitoring service on my account and they offered me a €30.00 credit to my account as a goodwill gesture. INSULTING. Even went I provided them with emails 'from them' clearing showing I was paying €30.00 a month for server monitoring service, they just ignored this evidence and wouldn't discuss this issue with me any further as they felt by offering me €30.00 credit closed the matter.

- BAD EXPERIENCE NUMBER 2:
I have to say by far the worse experience I have ever had with Letshost.ie is when they changed the DNS settings for one of my business web sites so that when my customers clicked on my web site wanting to buy my services, one of my competitors web site would appear instead of my business web site. This DNS change was done one Friday evening of a long weekend. Letshost.ie told me that the reason they changed the DNS settings was because one of my business competitors contacted them and claimed ownership of my business domain and requested the change to my DNS settings. When I asked Letshost.ie why they would acted upon such a request when not only was my business domain name registered in my name, but I had originally registered my business domain name with them and I subsequently renewed my business domain name with them for several years. They NEVER provided me with an answer to this question and just ignored me everytime I asked them for answers and to this day, they continue ignore me. In the end, they made up some cock-and-bull nonsense about not being able to work with me anymore and they gave me notice to move all my web sites to another hosting provider.

I cannot stress strongly enough my warning to any business owner or anyone thinking of doing business with this company, to totally stay away from this hosting provider. Read my story above and learn from it because it is 100% true and accurate and I still have all the emails to prove it.

I have worked closely with LetsHost over the last few years and found them to be an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Regardless of the type of work we require, they are extremely professional, responsive and incredibly engaging.

We will continue to be advocates of LetsHost and have recommended them to a number of people in our network. We look forward to working with them again on future projects at the AP Group!

Having dealt with Lets Host on multiple projects over many years I can not recommend them highly enough.

We use them to host several high volume traffic websites and several not so busy websites. From the smallest requests to large one off out of hours requests the service is second to none.

By the very nature of our business we are an extremely demanding client, we have used hosting companies across the States, Germany and the UK and have yet to find service as good.
