Great people make the difference...
The two drivers / hosts - Stephen and Jason - were first class. Professional, helpful, organised and good fun to be with. The guide - Terry Whenham - again made the difference by bringing the subject matter to life with his overall knowledge of the subject matter and the personal stories of the men and boys of the time.

Easy rectification of booking error
Managed to book 2028 instead of 2027. A phone call to a very helpful and knowledgable representive cleared up the error and rebooked us on the correct coach and holiday.

Be warned
Had a great trip overall,On the Dubrovnik &Jewels of the Dalmatian coast .Shaun and Rachel did a great job looking after all of us .But you must be warned about the ferry between Ancona to Split on the third day ,The cabins where freezing and the food was disgusting ,especially the breakfast thin slice of ham,cheese cold piece of streaky bacon with a bread roll on a plate,Tea or Coffee .Thats it it was horrible .i would be ashamed to be responsible for the plateful and it took four catering assistants to serve it .Also at the Hotel ,The Grand Hotel at Opatija we where allocated a room which we found to have very bad mould behind the main door to the room .Over 2days there we got nowhere after complaining to reception many times ,all we got was there is no spare rooms available,Which I feel is unbelievable at such a big hotel .Be warned !!

However, we’re sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during the ferry crossing from Ancona to Split. We appreciate how disappointing it must have been to find the cabin uncomfortably cold and to be unhappy with the quality of the breakfast provided. Your comments regarding the catering will be shared with the relevant team and ferry operator for review.
We’re also concerned to hear about the mould you found in your room at the Grand Hotel in Opatija and that, despite raising this with reception on several occasions, you were unable to move rooms. We understand how frustrating this must have been, and we’re sorry that your concerns were not resolved during your stay.

As usual First class from leger
As usual First class from leger. We knew this was late and didnt hold out much hope for any holidays. We wanted a break to Switzerland but the one we wanted was fully booked, so looked round and found a break to the Italien Dolomites.So as usual Leger at its best, spoke to a lovely cheerful lady had a laugh and joke with her and got it all booked, great. So now looking forward to that holiday. Will also start looking toward next year and what we book.

I very much enjoyed this trip
I very much enjoyed this trip. Not my first as a solo traveller, but my first on a coach tour. Leger and the Luxuria were the right choice for what certainly turned out to be an expedition, with the right mix of travel, stops, stays, excursions, sightseeing and free time to explore the Highlights of Eastern Europe. I will certainly book another Leger holiday. Much credit to the Team who took care of us all for the entire journey. The 2 weeks flew by.
