I used LegalZoom to start an LLC for a foundation my family is starting on behalf of our father who passed. We realized after the fact that an LLC is not the path we wanted to go down so I reached out to Jay and let him know what was going on and if possible I’d like to cancel my order. Jay was extremely helpful in helping me get over to Shraddha in customer service. Shraddha was just as helpful and I did not feel at all like a burden while I was explaining what happened and what we meant to do. Thank you for helping me navigate through this.

Below is my original post complaining about my attempt to cancel before being charged for an an automated renewal. Since that time, Legalzoom contacted me and gave me a refund of the renewal charge. I upped the number of stars to 4 because the underlying product did meet my needs and they made the refund.

"Legalzoom lied to me about the renewal of a trial period. I prepared one document during the trial period and while we were reviewing it, Legalzoom sent me a note that it would renew on the 29th of the month. When I called to cancel, they informed me that it actually renewed one day earlier than their notice stated. A clear rip-off."

I got the answers I was looking for quickly.
