I had issues with City Council Tax and had no idea how to resolve or who to contact, being a Non Resident in UK and first time owner until i emailed Marie Campbell at Legacie who seemed much knowledgeable, efficient, considerate and client focused. Marie didn't hesitate in helping me out, responding timely to my emails and taking the initiative of contacting the concerned. Excellent experience so far. Again thank you Marie.

Quick, helpful brilliant service
I moved out my flat today and realised I’d forgot to cancel my rent direct debit. I contacted Legacie about the overpayment and Sue Wong sorted it out immediately and made sure to urgently get it refunded. Really impressive service and appreciate how quick they sorted out my error.

bad experience, would not recommend
Very frustrating company to be renting through. Many things not working upon moving in despite the property having sat empty for months prior to me moving in and there being ample time for such issues to be fixed. In addition, issues that I was assured would be fixed by the move-in date have not been done so- in fact the emails to the plumber/painter etc. had not even been sent yet. Very very disappointing experience and very poor form which isn't helped by the slow/lack of communication from the property manager

As a tenant, I found the building super nice and clean, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The concierge staff are very professional and kind. They were there all the time helpful and welcoming and ensuring safety in the entire building 24/7. The property manager is a very professional and nice person. The great location of the building is a bonus to all that making this a great place to live.

Special mention for Sue
I have dealt with Legacie for a few years now and overall the experience has been good. Recently it seems however that there has been some upheaval with a succession of property managers leaving their posts, so I am especially grateful for the reassuring presence of Sue Wong during the turmoil. Even though my queries weren't necessarily strictly in her remit, Sue has been unfailing in her support. Totally professional, she is a delight to deal with and always tries to resolve any problems that arise.

Hit and miss.
I've rated 4 stars on this occasion as I've had to chase the rent payment for one of our properties for two months running. Rent now received. The rent payment on another property they look after is paid on time without issue. No idea why both can't be that way.

misleading action or omission
Hi Rachael,
Thank you for your message.
I would like to clarify once again that, during my viewing of the property, the very first point I raised with the manager was that I drive an electric vehicle. The administration team — including Libby, Michael and Freya — were aware of this from the start. At no point, from the advert to the tenancy agreement, was I informed that the advertised parking would require any extra cost, nor that no spaces were available.
The advert for the unit clearly stated that parking was included at no additional cost, and suitable for electric vehicles. This was a material and essential feature of my decision to sign the tenancy, especially as my car is fully electric and I currently have no alternative way to charge it without the parking that was advertised.
Under UK consumer protection law — including the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (CPRs) — it is unlawful to provide misleading information or omit material facts that influence a consumer’s transactional decision. Advertising parking as included and then not providing it may constitute a misleading action or omission.
Furthermore, under UK contract law, misrepresentation of a key feature that induced someone to enter into a contract may entitle the consumer to remedies, including contract termination without penalty.
Given the circumstances, I respectfully request that the situation be resolved in a fair and lawful manner. Therefore, I ask that you either:
1. Provide a parking space as advertised, or
2. Allow me to terminate the tenancy agreement without penalty, as a key advertised feature has not been provided.
Please note that I am allowing 10 days from the date of this email for a resolution. If no solution is provided within this timeframe, I will consider this communication as formal notice and may use this email — along with the advert, all previous communications, witnesses and any supporting evidence — as part of any legal proceedings or complaints to the relevant UK authorities (including Trading Standards and the Advertising Standards Authority).
I remain open to a constructive and prompt resolution and hope we can settle the matter amicably.
