I tried Black Sheep Coffee beans for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. The coffee has a rich, smooth flavour with a lovely creamy texture. It makes excellent espresso, and I'll definitely order it again.

The coffee was incredibly strong and too hot temperature wise, not to mention it’s almost double the price of McDonald’s or Greggs coffee.

The service wasn’t great, it’s just ordering on a screen which takes up most of the shop floor so once you’ve ordered you has no where to stand.

Quick delivery, lovely tasting coffee

I usually go to the branch on Sir Thomas street which is always good. But on the 2nd July we went to the branch on Liverpool one. First you can only pay on the machine or the staff don’t want to take orders. The screen is not user friendly I have a 6 month old iPhone and it was a chore to scan in to start the order. Then once you get to the menu there is no search and it took a real effort to find a cup of tea for my wife I was so under whelmed I decided not to order any food. When I got our drinks the tea hadn’t been stirred and there were no spoons only wooden stirrers and my flat white looked like a brown and white puddle so clearly no efforts to impress. We will not return

Absolutely love the Iced Blueberry Matcha, however if I don’t drink my drink within 10 mins, the straw will literally start disintegrating, which isn’t helped by the lid they provide which tears the straw as you move it. When you ask for a dome lid instead, you’re met with an aggressive “NO!”, so now I take two straws before I leave so that I can sip my drink slowly and replace the straws before they turn into paper maché. Finally it would be nice if staff made an effort to get names right…I don’t understand why anyone would think Simone should be pronounced as Simon.

You would think pre ordered would make service quicker. It feel like away of cutting out the middle man. Maybe I over thinking self order and pay. But been to busier shop from order to receive has been quicker at counters. But I thought I try it out but it's like other commercial coffee shops over priced and cold. I'm not recommended here. But more than try it out if you disagree with me

I didn't want to have to come on here, but I figured I should warn other who may be experiencing the same. I ordered in store on the 16th May via the self service screen, they didn't have 4 items (natas) of my order except for my drink which they said they can either refund or exchange for anything else. I asked for a refund. The staff, Tom, wasn't able to do it on the till due to a faulty system and and advised that it will be refunded in 3-4 days. Ive been liaising with their team since May... I get continuous responses from them that they are working on the refund but nothing since then. Keep it. Geniunely such a nuisance to constantly keep checking in on their failure to provide the basic customer service and principle of refunding back when its their own fault. Honestly annoyed and won't be stepping foot in there - who knows how many people they have failed to refund due to a 'faulty system'

Been getting my daily caffeine fix for more than 2 years from Aldgate /Aldgate East and have gotten to know the Baristas as they so friendly and never wait long for my drinks - one for my daughter who lives close by as I order from the app. I have a dog that gets a complimentary Pupachino when manager is around and even got a matcha for my granddaughter when I was looking to try something for her! The whole team are amazing as they know my coffee preferences perfectly!

Sorry to report very poor (in fact, non-existent) customer service. I've been buying coffee beans from black sheep for years, so I consider myself a loyal customer. My last delivery of coffee, the 1kg bag of beans, split in transit, rendering the sealed package useless, and the beans had gone stale. I immediately sent a note to the orders department, with my order number and a photo of the split bag. I have heard nothing back from them, despite emailing a further 2 times and logging a complaint via the web contact form. I am very disappointed. I've been waiting a week for a response, and I'm reluctant to purchase more beans....

The matcha here is amazing. I love it so much. It has JUST the right mix of matcha and vanilla. Amazing. 🤩
