This is my second course with Lisa and another brilliant 3 days Lisa is brilliant very knowledgeable and friendly and fun I have learned a lot from this course if there are any more courses I would love to do them I recommend that if anyone gets to do a course please do it you will not be disappointed thanks once again Lisa I hope I will see you again

I found this course to be the most enjoyable and informative to date. Sue covered a large range of topics in great depth to prepare for work and successfully had our diverse group working as team confidently and happily.
Sue L was lovely! Warm and approachable, her style made learning enjoyable and easy to comprehend.

Sue was amazing with helping me with my confidence she was clear with her teaching and she helped support me when my confidence was low I really enjoyed the course it was very informative and I am looking forward to do some more courses when at first I was reluctant sue has offered me the chance to do some more of her courses to gain my confidence . Jenni's delivery of the 'Get Ready' course was everything I needed it to be and more, each day I arrived she was already sat down and ready to greet everyone then begin the session.
Her combination of making sure we were all comfortable start to finish but also making sure each day that we learned plenty made each session a pleasure to attend, couldn't reccomend more.

I recently attended the Supporting Parents Back into Work course online with Sue L and I found it really informative and engaging. I expected I would know quite a bit of what would be discussed already but came away with several links and pathways that I can further explore in order to gain employment following a career break. I feel more confident that I will be able to apply for a different sector knowing there are courses that I can attend through AKG which will make my CV look more favorable to employers. Definitely recommend!

I attended the Interview session with AKG Learning, and it was an excellent and highly informative experience. The session covered all the key elements of a successful interview, including what employers look for, interview do’s and don’ts, appropriate dress code, different types of interviews, and the importance of thorough preparation - including planning the journey in advance.

The tutor also provided valuable guidance on effective communication and active listening, knowing when to speak and when to listen. Interview questions were explained in detail, particularly competency-based questions and how to answer them confidently using the STAR method. The session concluded with useful advice on follow-up after interviews, along with practical hints and tips that were easy to understand and apply.

A special thank you to Susan Leese for delivering such a well-structured, engaging, and confidence-building session. I highly recommend this interview training to anyone preparing for job interviews.

My tutor for the customer service course Susan leese was amazing she was very friendly and helped me identify my different skills and the differences between a cv and a cover letter she also showed us the importance of customer service in any line of work I was very pleased with everything the overall course and at the end I asked Susan for helped regarding my incoming job interview and she did she talked to me about what they’d ask me and what questions I could ask them and I’m very grateful for assistance as it’s helped to prepare me further for my interview she’s a great tutor and very helpful.

I have just completed an apprenticeship in Senior Housing and Property Management with the CIH L5 and thrilled to received a Distinction.

My tutor was Ben Anderson and he was always available to support me and answer any questions I had, nothing was any trouble and he was a great support.

Our tutor kulshuma Rahman was absolutely brilliant. She explained everything very clearly, and whenever we had questions she was happy to answer and made sure we understood. She was kind, patient, and very understanding of our situations. The course itself was very useful, I learned a lot, and overall it was a great experience.

Thank you to my assessor who was absolutely amazing and patient. She was always their when I had a question and the course was clear and easy to follow.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Sybil, who has honestly been amazing throughout my apprenticeship. Sybil has always been so positive and reassuring, which has had such a great impact on me. As I come towards the end of my apprenticeship, I honestly know that I wouldn’t be where I am today without her support!!!!

Since starting my Apprenticeship back in 2024 at first I thought yes everything was going well and I would complete this course on time. But as the year went on I did struggle changing settings wasn’t easy and taking a gap in between was hard, and I didn’t know I would be completing my course 1 year and 7 months later. but I just want to say a huge huge big thank you to Gemma Hares for being the most supportive and helpful tutor ever if it wasn’t for you I don’t think I would of passed today you have helped me since the beginning all the way till the end teaching not to give up and always telling me to be confident and I have got this. So thank you so much to Gemma Hares you’re honestly the best tutor I could ever ask for. Thank you for helping and supporting me through out the whole apprenticeship I really appreciate it.

It gave me confidence

Due to external circumstances, one of our Apprentices had fallen behind in their Level 2 Housing and Property Management Qualification. I want to give a 'shout out' to your Housing Tutor, Sybil Bryce, for exceptional support, flexibility and all the additional effort she has given to our colleague to support them to get back on track with this, to the point that the outcome feels achievable. This has impacted on the colleague and given them the confidence to begin working on their case study and see the end point as a reality. Thank you so much Sybil for your caring and compassionate approach, working quietly and under the radar to make a remarkable difference.

My learning with AKG was made simple and easy to learn. I have diagnosed ADHD and AKG gave me extra support to make sure this did not affect my experience.

What made my experience great was its something I will use in the future especially the interview techniques

I recently completed my level 3 early years diploma and at first was worried I wasn’t going to complete the course as my first tutor put me behind quite a bit, however once Ellen Tuffney became my tutor everything got back on track! She was very supportive and always went the extra mile to help me catch up and without her help I would not of been able to finish the course! She always made sure that I understood everything and made sure that I was comfortable with the amount of work she was setting me at a time.

The course was very formal and I took away a lot of information and knowledge on updating CV, cover letters and getting the most out of your interviews.
Well done to Fleur Banister would highly recommend course to anyone looking to gain more confidence and getting yourself back out there.
