Went for a 7 day free trial to create a tenancy agreement. Day after I made one the website was down for coincidentally 7 days so I couldn't login to cancel the subscription.
It said on the site, "don't worry, no credit card payments will be taken during this time"
On the 7th day the site came back but when I logged in to cancel they had already taken the money.
I've emailed them so time will tell if it's an honest company and they refund the money, if so I will change the review.

I subscribed in April for a download and cancelled immediately next day. I noticed today through my paypal that i have been wrongly charged for three months. Tried calling the company on number provided and got a voicemail saying number recorded was spam. Website down. Guess i have been mugged off. Others be aware this is obviously a scam

I’ve been scammed too! Noticed recently this company has been charging me for months. When i contacted them they said i should have cancelled the service within a week as i used it for a free tenancy agreement. I never signed up to them and have had zero service from them to cancel. What can they show they have provided for the £33 a month? I have contacted paypal and my bank! AVOID AVOID AVOID

Filled in a form and tried to pay the hidden charge of £29.99 to download the form. Transaction did not go though and my bank got in touch immediately. My card has been compromised and I will have to wait for a new one. Do not use this site.

Unfortunately I set up a subscription with this company. I only received 1 email in the 2 years I was with them which went to spam. After 23 payments and no service from them they would only refund £33 this is extremely poor customer service, they could have been more discretionary with their refund- no customer care. Do not subscribe to this company

I needed a tenancy document so panicked and went to the first company i found on line. I tired the free on line trial but nothing came up so i decided to go for the 12 months trial at £6 a month. They took the whole amount and i have been unable to upload the document which in the end i got free from the government site. I cancelled my subscription and got an email to confirm the cancellation. I just wish i had checked with Trust pilot! I am £84 down now.

Great site,have used the free trial an received my documents and then cancelled before the 7 days were up,just remember to cancel,as loads of bad reviews here saying company has taken money out after the 7 days!!it states this when you sign up for free trial,that's on you not the company ;) great selection of legal documents! Highly recommend!!! Currently now use the site on a monthly subscription.

Ive been a member for over a year and use them often, for parts of our Will Writing service. No issues at all with content or quality. It's good value for money

This is not free service as the website states. When you’ve spent 30 mins filling in forms they ask for you to sign up to a subscription. Avoid.

I signed up for the one week free trial and cancelled before the week expired. This was the easiest cancelation I've ever done...No pressure or forcing me to chat with an agent.

They charged me nothing for the privilege and gave me the documents I requested.

I would definitely use this site again and pay for a subscription if I need more legal advice!!

Simply appalling attitude of support. Abruptly ending chat, sarcasm, rudeness. Looking at other reviews, this seems to be the norm. Cancelled my subscription.

This company is a total scam - don't go near them. They have charged me £165 so far without my knowledge and when i spoke to them on chat they cut the chat instead of dealing with my query.
Do not go anywhere near them - they need to be shut down. Reading the other reviews it would appear I'm not alone.

My landlord used this company (would have thought he’d have properly used a solicitor) for a tenancy agreement. When both the CAB and a legal advisor looked at it they were appalled at the content (lack of) and shoddy way it was written.

Scam. Avoid. Same as other reviews. Signed up with little to no indication of a paid subscription service. Totally disgusting scam.

Not at all a straight forward company to deal with.

Scam company that sign you unwittingly up to a subscription and keep charging you for nothing! When you try to get a refund they are rude, sarcastic and then hang up. When you contact their live caht they disconnect you.

'Misleading' - you go through 30 minutes filling in all the details and then get hit with subscribe (albeit with a cancellation option in limited time) before you can get access to the form you expected. Should be more honest and open at the outset instead of gathering all the information and then try to get the money from you.

Spammer. Identity faker. I regularly receive spam using this lawdepot.co.uk as a link behind the button "keep my same login access". Be warned

I have read a lot of very negative reviews regarding the "Free Trial" cancellation and the subscription fee still being deducted.
This happened to me, I cancelled within the 7 days and was sent confirmation, but LawDepot still deducted the £33.
I comtacted them to complain, providing in the email all the details and confirmation. Tina responded very politely, to promptly informed me that a FULL refund had been actioned and I would recieve this within 5 working days.
This cleared my bank today as promised. Thank you kindly to Tina.
