Disappointing School Photography Experience

Very disappointed with the school photography service. Only one photograph of my child was taken, with no alternative shots to choose from, and unfortunately, the result is terrible.

School photos are supposed to capture special memories, so I would expect a professional photography company to take several shots to ensure parents have at least one decent photo to purchase.

It's frustrating that so little care and effort appears to have gone into something parents look forward to each year. Definitely not the standard I would expect from a professional school photography company.

Wish I’d seen the reviews on here before purchasing.

Absolutely awful service, the AI pic I’ve received of my daughters class I couldn’t find her in it as it looks nothing like her, and the other photo they have cropped her hair out and all the photos are cut uneven. Rang and emailed about the issue just to be told they won’t resolve. Never ever again will I use kittle photography, will be making a formal complaint to school too and taking this to trading standards.

What a shame kids only have 1 school photo taken and then these guys mess it up.

Prices are ridiculous and when you do spend the money the photos are not even in the frames or cut up you have to cut and frame them yourselves I’m frustrated at the school for choosing a service and fully checking everything

I have 5 children and unfortunately 2 of them are at schools which use Kittle photographic. I always dread getting their photos home as I know it is never going to be a simple checkout process like it is with my other 3 children. The website requires endless logins - why isn't just one enough?! the order process is stupid, sends you round in circles and often refuses to work on mobile. Their staff are not friendly or helpful at all - bad customer service, bad website, and their end of year school photo is AI GENERATED!! Every single child is stood smiling at the camera (never happens in an entire year group photo) every child is present (again, never happens) and the room it was 'taken' in, does not even exist inside the school (I know as my husband works there!) the flooring and curtains are not in the school. So they are trying to charge parents for FAKE PHOTOS!!!

Awful. They took my son's photo at his school, and I'm struggling to understand why the school chose them. Is this really the only option on the market?
The app/website for downloading the photos is just awful. The whole process is unclear, confusing and frustrating.
The quality of the photo is poor as well. Why use such a harsh white background?
The price is ridiculous.

for the school photos i dislike how they edit students smiles as when they do that they warp your face a lot many students have had complaints about their photos coming out horrible making them feel worse and insecure about themselves.Some students mention how they did not smile however on the actual photos ending up smiling as no one asked you to do that and it looks uncanny and unnatural

So disappointed with this company. The school seem to insist on using them despite churning out poor photos year on year on a harsh awful white background. When I gave my feedback they blamed the school. I’ve even seen children with eyes shut in their group photos. Absolutely appalling and they should offer different backgrounds! Poor customer service

Kate was brilliant, making a daunting task manageable & fun.

The prices are just absurd, the product nothing special. It's a real shame that Kittle have somehow managed to corner the school photo market, and so many parents are priced out. Schools must share some blame for taking the lazy option and repeatedly booking them despite complaints - a simple solution for parents would be to club together and hire a freelance photographer - and the output would likely be better too.

This is the second time of using Kittle for our Leavers Books and Hoodies and its been such a great experience.
Incredible support from all the teams. Easy to use ordering and designing service for both hoodies and books. The staff are so helpful and knowledgeable. Great communication from the team at all times. Nothing is ever too much trouble. Highly recommended!

The photos are far too expensive. I don't want a family pack with 10 copies of the same photo, I would like one copy of each of the photos but this isn't an option.

My kids school use this company for school photos the picture quality is horrible nevermind horrible is an understatement such pictures for such a high price is an absolute scam for my money I wish I could rate zero I know it may seem harsh but they are that bad

As a photographer myself, the photos this company takes are dreadful quality. They advertise on the website all these different backgrounds they have, yet they use plain white….
Really bad light bounce on the face due to the flash lighting being setup incorrectly, and just plain boring photos. I mean I put in loads of effort to do a shoot with a single model, this company are setting up once to take photos of hundreds of children so spend the extra time and set it up correctly. My sisters child’s school had a company in and they were breathtaking and definitely worth the money. This company you would be better to get your child outside and use a phone, it would look much better. You have a large company with a lot of contracts, make sure your photographers have extensive studio skills before hiring

We used Kittle for our leavers yearbook. The customer service was exceptional. We’d definitely use them again.

My only criticism, whilst I’m happy to check over grammar and punctuation, I did expect a minimum standard in that apostrophes are at least used correctly in the first instance. Otherwise, we’d definitely use them again.

The service and products from Kittle Photographic are wonderful and I thoroughly recommend them for your leavers hoodies. Kate was so helpful and always responded quickly to my many queries. They managed to deliver over 100 hoodies to our school with tight time constraints. The quality and design of the hoodies are excellent. Really thick material and perfect embroidery of the crest. Thank you!

I’m very disappointed with the photos I received. Not a single one met good quality standards, despite the high price.

terrible customer service not helpful at all will not purchase off these again web site confusing ended up with last year's photo why would I want an old photo no refund or any good will gesture offered
